11/08/2025: Four of us came here for lunch to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was really great. There was a small accompaniment from the kitchen, which was delicious. I had a cold tomato and watermelon soup, which was really delicious and super refreshing. For dessert, I had the tarte tatin, which was excellent. My companions' dishes were also very good. The ambiance is wonderful inside and out. Everything is just right here!

01/09/2025: Every time I'm in the area, I go for dinner. The lunchtime fixed menu, besides the food being truly excellent, is also incredibly well priced. The service is exceptional. The girl serving is always smiling and helpful. Honestly, you can't find any fault with a place like this. Plus, there's an excellent selection of wines at super reasonable prices, and honestly, every time I go, I take a bottle or two home. I recommend the Travaglini Nebbiolo, spectacular... I forgot about the 12:00 menu, they even offer coffee with cream. AMAZING...

24/08/2025: Incredible, local dishes that are filled with SO much flavor! I advise making a reservation (no matter the party size). The service was very friendly and quick along with the fact that the food was very tasty (olive oil was insane). I would strongly recommend eating here if you are in the area. We booked the day before and the only time available was during lunch. (Bear in mind: this was during the summer season.) I’d definitely go back here and recommend others the same! 24/08/2025: A wonderful time in this very welcoming restaurant in Dolceacqua! We enjoyed ourselves from start to finish... typical dishes of the region, surprising and original flavors, good olive oil, good wine, simple and effective desserts and above all a very good coffee made in San Remo which is worth the detour! A thousand thanks for the lovely welcome! 😍. And we remind you: no parmesan on the pasta alle vongole!!! 🤌🏻Ahahaha 😄 - Grazie!!! 👌🏻

13/08/2025: In the historic center of Siena, in a building dating back to 1270, the Gallo Nero restaurant offers a particularly interesting atmosphere, featuring modern pieces elegantly combined and perfectly contrasted with the brick vaults and resin floors. The food is top-quality, perfectly cooked, with surprising twists, creating a harmony of refined and carefully balanced flavors! We enjoyed the truly excellent five-course tasting menu. The wine selection is highly refined, with a focus on local produce and small, niche producers. The dining room staff is knowledgeable and empathetic, attentive to every detail, making guests feel cared for and pampered! Highly recommended!

A special location, a village on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and Lazio, and the chef was on top of his game like never before in showcasing the local ingredients. The tasting was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish had something unique to offer, even the smallest bite. I would have said it was impossible to rank in order of goodness, because the extremely high quality of the suckling pig, the sea bass, and the scampi were all on par. But alas, all the courses had to capitulate in the face of the foie gras, an absolute masterpiece, an explosion of flavors, textures, and even temperatures, sublime, enhanced by the stellar pairing of the white wine we were offered... When you leave, the only thought is what the autumn menu will be like. Many thanks to the chef, the sommelier, and the entire team, young but truly knowledgeable, unobtrusive yet always present...

15/08/2025: Nestled in the Siena countryside, in a splendid castle. The dinner was perfect, every course an explosion of flavor, with attention to every ingredient. The service was impeccable, attentive, and never intrusive. One of the best experiences I've ever had. Recommended for a treat for the heart and soul.

12/08/2025: We had lunch, and even though the location is a bit out of the way, it's absolutely worth it! The staff are always friendly and smiling; the location is beautiful, well-equipped, and breezy, perfect even for summer. The dishes are authentic, locally sourced, and mostly organic. The desserts and ice cream are all homemade: out of this world. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend making a reservation; we went on a Tuesday and it was very busy!

09/08/2025: Simply a delight. Friendly people, quality ingredients, and delicatessen meats cured in the restaurant for a truly refined cuisine. If there's one place in Plaisance where you have to eat, it's definitely in this restaurant!

07/08/2025: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo pranzato oggi qui per un pranzo al volo e che dire ottimo! Io ho preso la tagliata di carne con i funghi, la carne si scioglieva in bocca. Servizio veloce, personale molto cordiale e gentile. I prezzi sono giusti per quello che abbiamo mangiato! Sicuramente se ritorneremo a Piacenza sarà la nostra tappa fissa!

17/08/2025: We absolutely loved the place! The place is as good as the reviews - we went with a 2 month baby yesterday and had the best food and best service! Very friendly and the taste of the food, especially the seafood - is unmatched. Thank you very much! The only small feedback would be to set up air conditioning or colder setup in summers (for 10 stars). 5 star place with excellent service!

17/08/2025: Highly recommended for savory dishes. Fair prices and very delicious pasta. You’ll get a welcome drink, pizza bread, mango ice and limoncello at the end for free. Definitely try the Gnocchi. However, avoid the desserts. They are frozen ones. Other than that a super place!
