16/07/2026: During my wife and I'd had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located at the port of Castellammare del Golfo. What a perfect choice! Everything was perfect, from the service to the dishes. Starting with the appetizer, a delicious octopus carpaccio with vegetables. Then we moved on to two first courses: busiate del cumpà, a house specialty with a truly exquisite shellfish ragù; and my wife's choice, spaghetti with zucchini and tuna pesto, truly exceptional. Finally, dessert was a delight. The Bacio Pantesco and almond parfait, both EXCEPTIONAL. A must-try if you're in Castellammare.

15/07/2026: We spent a wonderful evening at Cumpa restaurant. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was prepared with great care and quality: truly special, with unforgettable flavors. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. Excellent service, thanks to Dario and Antonio, always professional and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, perfect for enjoying an excellent dinner in peace. Kudos to all the staff: we will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent seafood in a welcoming atmosphere.

30/05/2026: This restaurant deserves its own post. This agriturismo is located in a spectacular setting in the Chiavenna area. It offers the best dishes in the Valtellina region and impeccable service. The menu is in the last photo. Everything you see in the pictures, including water, wine, bread, and dessert, cost us around 80 euros. There were three of us, but four could easily have shared the meal. Thanks, Diego, for the recommendation.

14/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious pizza (including gluten-free!) located in Castel San Gimignano, centrally located and easily accessible, especially if you're traveling. Excellent service and very friendly and polite waiters. A bonus is the wide selection of gluten-free dishes and drinks, which are not always easy to find.

11/04/2026: We were at TERRE ALTE last night, and it was simply SPECTACULAR!! The owner, Mr. MICHELE, delighted us with raw fish, steamed fish, and fried fish of ABSOLUTE freshness!! Everything was paired with EXCELLENT wines. For me, it's the best restaurant in ROMAGNA for fish. An excellent evening.

06/08/2026: Disappointing overall. The food didn't live up to the hype or the price. The €3.50 per person cover charge felt especially hard to justify given the average meal. Service was fine, but I left wishing I'd picked one of Florence's many better options.

09/06/2026: Very nice, well-kept place. Good food, with unusual dishes, well-prepared, and decent portions. Maybe a little pricey, but I wouldn't discourage it for that reason. The only downside is the service: the waitress (I've had the same one three times) was rude and visibly annoyed with the customer during service.

06/06/2026: We decided to try it without a reservation after discovering it on social media. The owner went out of his way to seat us, even though we hadn't booked. They exceeded our expectations: excellent food, a quiet and romantic location, perfect for an evening with your partner and/or friends. Highly recommended!

13/06/2026: I visited here on my holiday, the day was hot, we walked a lot, we got very hungry. I was impressed by the kitchen, it was very tasty, we ordered many dishes, and the wine, which turned out to be very tasty, white and red. We will definitely come back. Thank you to them for the good vibes.

12/06/2026: Our negative experience is in contrast to several other recent reviews. Two dined - one ordered filet and other ordered veal filet with red wine reduction. Was surprised that the two menu items were meat only - no sides which were available at extra cost. Both ordered cooked medium. First filet arrived burned on bottom - second was fine ( beef was substituted since they had run out of veal) but the sauce seemed to be overly thickened with an agent that made it 'gloppy' rather than a simple reduction. Salad arrived plain - needed to request oil & vinegar. Pasta arrived butter only - needed to request parmesan ( at an Italian restaurant for pasta ? ). Service was not great. Ex bottled water was delivered but not opened and poured. Venue itself is quaint. Bottom line - there are many other places you might consider first.

05/07/2026: Igor was my server, and he was fantastic. He was very personable, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout the meal. His friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely come back!

The waiter, Igor, was extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful, doing everything to ensure we had the best possible experience. We will definitely return and recommend the restaurant!

05/08/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I had an excellent tuna tartare and anchovies and beccafico. My friends also had first courses and they were equally satisfying. To finish, an excellent panna cotta with strawberry cream.
