21/08/2025: We arrived in Florence around 10:30 p.m., hungry. The lady at the hotel reception recommended this restaurant, among others. We were thankfully given some dry bread, a Caprese made with half a tomato and mozzarella, a couple of meatballs in sauce, some water, and two-eighths of a glass of wine—for just under €160. We were very disappointed that our situation was exploited in this way and would not recommend this restaurant.

18/08/2025: We had a fantastic time at Il Baretto with amazing food and great service from Katya. The restaurant was a perfect balance between fine dining and cozy neighborhood restaurant. The service was friendly and the prices affordable.

07/09/2025: In our opinion, this is the best seafood restaurant in the Piacenza area. Spectacular raw fish and refined, modern, and original dishes. We recommend following the owner's advice when choosing wines. Desserts are a must, as they're the perfect end to an excellent dinner.

15/08/2025: We went there on August 15th, we had lunch, and in the evening we had pizza, penne with fabulous pork ragù, the meat was tender, the service was homely but very appreciated, I really recommend it

29/08/2025: Delicious dinner. We chose the full menu for €39 per person. All the appetizers were delicious...especially the ventricina, chickpeas with suckling pig and sheep's milk ricotta. Maltagliati with a superb ventricina sauce and grilled meat to finish...the kindness and friendliness of the staff was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended. P.S. Reservations recommended. Excellent food, you can choose a set menu with various appetizers (all exceptional and made with quality ingredients), a first course, fruit, and a drink included, or a set menu like the first course but with a second course as well. Everything was very good.

26/08/2025: Our first time here, we were with a group of friends. We were all very happy with our food and wine choices. There was a good choice of meat and fish dishes, also vegetarian options (although we didnt try those). The service was friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend. We will be back!

27/07/2025: Incredible place!! Such a cozy backyard and the food was the absolute best meal ever I think! Absolutely amazing. & the wine!! Super nice staff too. The only downside was the toilet that needs to be refreshed. Seriously.

27/07/2025: Location: Beautiful, large garden with a pergola, open grill, warm, serene, and romantic atmosphere. Food: Fabulous! We had a delicious appetizer and a spectacular main course of meat with a special marinade—definitely worth trying! Beverages: Wide selection of both sparkling wines and red and white wines, excellent recommendations from the staff. Service: Kindness and professionalism, attentiveness and customer care. 22/08/2025: One of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I won't lie to you, the price is high, but it was worth it. We were welcomed very warmly by super-kind and highly qualified staff who treated not only us as guests but also our little dog in an excellent manner. It's an inn surrounded by nature and greenery. Parking is close to the inn, but be careful of wild boars in the evenings because, being in the woods, their inhabitants also live there. The food is high-quality and has flavors that explode in your mouth, a play of colors, contrasts, and flavors. I'm attaching photos and I highly recommend you try them because you won't be disappointed. The cuisine is suitable for every palate, even that of a child. My daughter, who usually has trouble eating, ate everything perfectly. I found the portions just right, so I could try even more dishes. It's definitely an experience to try at least once in your life. The place is also suitable for people with mobility issues or who require assistance. My advice is to call ahead so you can eat outside. on the large terrace for those who like

05/08/2025: The prices aren't cheap, but they're absolutely in line with the quality of the food, the service, and the location—far from the sea, yet immersed in nature. All in all, it's definitely top-notch.

11/08/2025: A pizza place or restaurant. It offers a good variety of very good dishes. We tried both the meat and pasta dishes, and the pan-fried pizza was truly excellent! The only downside is the entrance, which is a bit awkward for those with mobility issues or a stroller. To get in, you have to climb some steep stone stairs. For this reason alone, I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5.

11/08/2025: A very charming hotel in Petralia Sottana! Very warm and friendly! The location is great, as you can drive right up to the hotel door to unload your luggage! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. This hotel, besides being highly recommended, has the great advantage of having a restaurant on the premises. The service is warm and friendly. I recommend it.

03/08/2025: My husband, my daughter, and I went for dinner this evening. The place is very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, but the main problem was when I ordered panzanella (a typical Umbrian dish that I know very well, since my husband is originally from Orvieto) and was brought a small bowl of cherry tomatoes with a few breadcrumbs and two basil leaves. When it came time to pay, I mentioned this to the lady, and that I would therefore have liked to pay for a cherry tomato salad and not for the dish I had ordered. But to no avail, as upon leaving the restaurant, I looked at the bill and saw, to my dismay, that guest satisfaction isn't the restaurant's priority. I certainly wouldn't go to waste for two or three euros, but a small discount would have been appreciated. It's a shame because my husband and daughter said the first courses weren't bad, but when I return to Orvieto, I definitely won't choose Il Capitano del Popolo again.

09/08/2025: July 26, 2025, the most important day of our lives, we decided to celebrate at Villa Ciccorosella. This enchanting and elegant location, a perfect blend of a farmhouse and a reception hall, meticulously maintained and refined, was a perfect match. We fell in love with it immediately. Paolo Miscioscia, the director, guided us from the very beginning with discretion, kindness, and professionalism, advising and being available throughout the event. The lunch was excellent, using only the finest and highest-quality ingredients, much appreciated by all our guests. The staff was always present and attentive to our every need, and Mimì, the dining room manager, with her professionalism and kindness, took us by the hand and guided us through that wonderful day, ensuring everything went exactly as we had hoped.
