16/08/2025: Beautiful location but food quality and quantity not up to par.

14/08/2025: August 14, 2025, all sunbeds and umbrellas on the beaches are reserved for locals. Italians are all on holiday in August, so there's practically no room for tourists at the beach facilities. So a day at the beach with shade is currently out of the question in this entire area. Shit🙈

08/09/2025: Had to do a lot of searching to find a restaurant in Sirmione with a decent rating and glad I took the time. We had the lobster pasta and red prawn spaghetti they were both really high quality, extensive wine list for a reasonable price and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend

28/08/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant: We wanted to order seafood pasta with squid ink, but they were out of squid ink. So they made us the dish without squid ink (at the same price, of course), and the dish arrived: 3 mussels, 2 cockles, and 3 tiny shrimp! Absurd... (18 or 19 euros per plate). What's more, there were 5 of us at the table, and we all had to order the same pasta because otherwise we wouldn't be able to eat together! 🤔 And finally, when the bill came, a "tax" of 2.5 euros per place was added! (We had been on the island for a week, and we hadn't yet been charged this tax). All in all, a very disappointing restaurant for us.

26/08/2025: The place is nice, well-kept, clean, and very professional. We went for dinner at 10 pm, and it was just the two of us. Probably because it's a bit hidden. The dinner wasn't bad, but it didn't strike me as anything special that would make it worth returning for. The service was courteous and efficient.

26/08/2025: First restaurant after setting foot in Sardinia, and I wasn't disappointed. I followed the advice of Lonely Planet and the reviews, and you can go there with your eyes closed. The waitress speaks English and gave good wine recommendations. I came on a Tuesday evening at the end of August for dinner alone without a reservation, and it was no problem. The fried octopus starter is absolutely divine. The taglioni are delicious. I couldn't continue with dessert because the first two courses were already quite generous. The restaurant has a very good wine and champagne list.

05/09/2025: The pizza was delicious and the service was quick. Five minutes from Malpensa Terminal 2, a great option. The only downside was the rudeness of the waitress. She was annoyed by the extra workload and didn't respond very politely. What a shame...

04/09/2025: I had a welcoming and personalized experience at this accommodation. The manager on duty welcomed me with kindness and thoughtfulness, taking care of preparing a seafood dinner suitable for my food intolerances while we checked in. He also provided me with all the useful information I needed. Despite my late and unexpected arrival, I was able to enjoy the nighttime view from Brunate without missing the spectacular sunset and the nighttime lights of Como. The room, though basic, was cozy and smelled of flowers, and was spotlessly clean. The basic amenities offered are perfectly in line with the cost of the accommodation, which is very affordable, especially considering the strategic location just steps from the funicular to the center of Brunate. I highly recommend staying here, even in high season, for the excellent value.

03/09/2025: The hotel is located overlooking Como and a short walk from the funicular into the city. It's comfortable and has an at home feeling. Raoul and his staff go out of their way to make this place feel at home. They've put their heart and soul into this place and I've never felt more welcome.

02/09/2025: Nice family restaurant, it is in the heart of Santo Stefano, so you can grab a lunch or dinner at any time. Their afternoon break is more friendly than in other restaurants so you hvae more time to enjoy their food. Ordert gnocchetti it is amazing! Beautiful little place with a bog offer

The first courses are plentiful and truly excellent, among the best I've ever eaten. The second courses are perhaps a little less, but still top-notch. Truly a place worth trying, a hidden gem.

28/08/2025: I went there for the first time today. The weather was so-so, but it was worth it. Everything was excellent, 110/110 for the service, the location, the food, and everything. It's worth it and I highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: the best restaurant in the area, tasty food and quality products. attentive service, nice dishes, outstanding views. should we ask for more? it is a bit pricy comparing to the other restaurants around but worth it. We keep on coming there - no surprises, the the good level is constant.

31/08/2025: We arrived for dinner one evening in late August, with a reservation. There's plenty of free parking. Friendly waiters escorted us to the back garden. The sunset view over the valley and the Lessini mountains is breathtaking! Super romantic! The table was beautifully set and elegant, and the wine list was extensive and well-stocked. The menu was adequate, with traditional dishes and a wide selection of homemade pastas. We had the famous love knots and pumpkin ravioli. They were exceptional, truly breathtaking in their delicacy and flavor. And we've tried several tortellini in various restaurants, and these were a real revelation! For our second course, a delicious grilled beef rib and a mixed grill with vegetable ratatouille. The meat was tasty and incredibly tender, perfectly cooked in the large wood-burning fireplace. All washed down with an excellent Valpolicella from a famous local winery. Dessert was a truly fabulous millefeuille and passito, recommended by the waiter! It was a beautiful summer evening, the iconic image you see in films depicting Italian dinners! The perfect atmosphere and scents that seem to be cut from a dream! An experience worth trying! 🤩🍷🥩🍗🍽

27/08/2025: If you like charming places, don't eat on the terrace; the interior is a corner of Pisa worth visiting. The two girls who are waiting tables inside go out of their way to make sure you don't want for anything. The food is spectacular; the baked potatoes, seasoned with rosemary, are a delicacy, the gnocchi were delicious, and the tagliolini with truffles and truffle pearls is a delicacy not to be missed. Even the house white wine is a great accompaniment. The zuccotto was a surprise to top off a great meal with coffee. A great experience that I highly recommend.

26/08/2025: I often come to this restaurant because the food is good: the dishes are always carefully prepared, the ingredients are excellent, and the menu offers a nice variety. The atmosphere is also pleasant and welcoming, a lovely place to spend an evening with friends. That said, I'd like to make a small, constructive observation: lately, I've noticed a decline in the hospitality and attentiveness of the wait staff. The staff, especially those who seem to manage the dining room, often seem unsmiling and lacking attention to detail. An example? When a bottle of wine is brought to the table, one expects at least a cooler with ice, which is consistently lacking. Furthermore, sometimes a slightly unusual request—like a dessert with a different topping or a slightly larger portion—is enough to receive a curt or impolite response. I fully understand that not every request can always be accommodated, but the manner in which you respond makes all the difference. The customer, in addition to enjoying good food, also contributes to supporting the restaurant financially, and a smile or a polite response should be the foundation of hospitality. My advice to the owner is to pay attention to these aspects. The food is excellent, but the overall experience also depends (and greatly) on who welcomes and serves. A good "waiter captain" makes all the difference, and right now I think someone with more vision and attention is needed. I will definitely return, because the place deserves it. But I really hope for some small improvements in the service department.

22/08/2025: We were there last week, the place is very nice. We ate meat and I must say it was all very good. The wine list is very varied and truly impressive.
