26/06/2025: English: We already knew this restaurant, we had enjoyed it in the past, but unfortunately the last experience was disappointing in several respects. The food is average, nothing exceptional. For example, we were served a risotto simply “spread” on the plate, with very basic preparation – let’s say sufficient, but nothing more. The location is decent, but the tables are practically on the sidewalk, in front of a somewhat busy road, so there is a lot of noise and little space. The service is barely adequate: the staff is not rude, but the waiting times are long and the organization seems lacking. And now the most serious fact: we witnessed, in front of everyone, a truly unprofessional scene. A waitress took a jug (not a glass, not a bottle) and drank directly from it. She did not take it from a table, but evidently from a service area. This gesture is unacceptable for a place open to the public. I sincerely hope that jug was not then reused to serve customers. Such behavior leaves doubts about the general hygiene of the place. It's a shame, because with more attention it could offer much more.

30/06/2025: If you are near the Colosseum, it is a must visit. We can say that it became our favorite place in Rome. We loved the artichokes and zucchini flower, two flavors you should definitely try. We also ordered a margarita pizza with two beers and it was a filling meal for two people. The prices are really much more affordable and delicious than other restaurants in the center 🍕🍻

28/06/2025: On hot days there are misting fans outside in their own little cul de sac which make a huge difference. Pizzas are tasty as are salads and reasonably priced spritzes. Works well with kids as it's more casual. Tucked away 5 mins from Colosseum!

20/06/2025: Beautiful location. Steak was underwhelming and overcooked, fries were harder than chips with no soft center, no wine served with the meal, and the wine offered after was clearly mismatched. Sides arrived late, and presentation was sloppy. Far better meals elsewhere in Città della Pieve at a third of the price.

30/06/2025: Very nice restaurant. Friendly service. As for the food, the pasta was incredible and the sauces truly delicious. All this on a quiet little street, away from the crowds and noise of downtown La Spezia.

28/06/2025: Interesting place. I recommend stopping by if you want to have a quiet dinner, with few people, and eat tasty seafood and meat dishes. I stopped there for a business dinner with colleagues. We didn't spend little, a little more than what was right in my opinion. The only unwelcome note was the rush we felt after dinner to have to leave. For the rest I recommend stopping by if you are in La Spezia!

30/05/2025: Overall, the service unfortunately ruined the evening. Long waits, no interaction, tables left uncleared... We were looking forward to an enjoyable evening – but were sadly disappointed. Eternities passed between courses without anyone informing us about the status of our food or apologizing for the long wait. When we asked, the staff reacted with reserve – no explanation, no apology. The service itself also left a lot to be desired: The tables didn't seem to be assigned to a specific waiter, and no one felt truly responsible. There was no interaction with us, no introduction to the dishes, no asking if we were enjoying them – the absolute minimum of attention was missed. Even more irritating: Several tables directly next to us remained full of half-empty plates, half-baked bread, and used dishes throughout the entire evening – a sight that definitely didn't add to the atmosphere. The most comical thing was that the male waiter opened a bottle of wine at the next table and simply tossed the cap listlessly onto the uncleaned table... The food: The steak tartare starter was excellent – ​​finely seasoned and very attractively presented. The pasta, on the other hand, was disappointing: neither particularly flavorful nor served with the fresh truffle, as hoped. The main course – meat with truffle – was solid, but here too, the truffle fell far short of our expectations. The dessert, a panna cotta, was unfortunately unbalanced in consistency and flavor – the extremely sweet sauce couldn't save the rather bland cream.

30/05/2025: Unfortunately, this was by far the worst dining experience we’ve had in Italy. The restaurant might have a minimal and elegant look at first glance, but what happened inside was a complete disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the service staff seemed visibly tense and disorganized. We opted for the tasting menu, but had to wait over 50 minutes between each course. Not once were the dishes explained or introduced properly, which is the bare minimum one would expect from any restaurant offering a tasting menu. The table next to ours, visible in the photos, remained uncleared throughout the evening. Instead of resetting it, the staff used it as a dumping ground for empty plates, used corks, and random leftovers. During wine service, the wine was spilled directly onto our table. The staff simply wiped it off without saying a single word. As for the food: the tartare starter was quite tasty, but the truffle pasta was bland, characterless, and entirely forgettable. The third course, a meat dish, arrived completely overcooked—dry and charred around the edges. Portions in the tasting menu were so small they bordered on laughable. In hindsight, ordering a single full-sized dish would’ve made far more sense—though coming to this restaurant in the first place clearly didn’t. And finally, dessert. The panna cotta was a disaster. It had lost all shape and collapsed to one side of the plate like a puddle. It looked and tasted like unset cream. To make matters worse, they clearly noticed the issue and tried to cover it up by smothering it with some chocolate sauce. Honestly, I’ve had better desserts from a supermarket. Maybe this place went downhill after being listed in the Michelin guide. But based on what we experienced tonight, I can’t understand how they made it onto the list in the first place.

12/06/2025: Sunday we celebrated our kids' wedding ..... WONDERFUL ..... Drinks at the village .....so much stuff!!! Restaurant? Wonderful location..... possibility to adapt according to your needs. EXCELLENT cuisine!!! The pastry chef?.... FANTASTIC !!! The staff ....excellent. Polite, prepared....present, but not excessive. Gabriele, the owner, ....as the groom said "has the ability to transmit tranquility" .....he is an exquisite person. What can I say, you have an important occasion to celebrate....do you also simply want to be pampered in the palate and soul?....this is the right place. Thank you for making a special day.....memorable!

26/06/2025: If you are looking for a place where you can eat well and not leave hungry, Ristorante Pizzeria Medmea in Rosarno is a good choice. It is known for its abundant dishes, genuine flavors and an excellent quality-price ratio. The menu ranges from typical Calabrian cuisine to pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, with specialties such as stroncatura alla Medmea, grilled fish and generous first courses that are often enough for two. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, perfect for both a quick stop and for dinners with friends. The service is fast and friendly, even at peak times.

24/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for a lunch break before continuing to Catanzaro. Very large restaurant, with many tables and seats. Very varied menu of both meat and fish of good quality and maxi portions. Suitable for families or travellers. Recommended by truck drivers, so a guarantee.

11/06/2025: We stumbled upon this lovely family-owned restaurant that proved to be a hidden gem. Even though we arrived without a reservation and before they were officially open, the owner warmly welcomed us and let us settle in outside. While we waited, we were given complimentary aperitivos and delicious appetizers. The service throughout the evening was welcoming and genuine. You could truly feel the care and passion that goes into this family establishment. Food was absolutely delicious and wonderfully original - mixed fried seafood, a perfectly prepared seafood pasta, and an impressive mixed platter. While it might be a bit off the beaten path, it's worth the walk!

08/06/2025: Authentic and deliciously prepared local cuisine served in moderized and tasteful vaulted rooms with countryside charm ( note the antique mirrors). A soothing jazz playlist sets the stage for a great dining experience. Artichokes served in several dishes are great choices.

19/06/2025: I always come back here when I'm in Milan, delicious pizza although the selection is small. From meat only diavola. I highly recommend this place

21/06/2025: Delicious food and drinks, the service was very fast and extremely friendly. We had appetizers, bigoli, and vitello tonnato. All very good. But the best was the tiramisu, light and fluffy, and not too sweet. This restaurant is highly recommended. We'd be happy to return.

16/06/2025: Very nice and well-appointed restaurant. The restaurant is very clean. The menu is extensive. We chose Taglia di Manzo. It was very well presented and very good. The service was super friendly and very professional. The server spoke French, which for me was the icing on the cake because it was very easy for us to choose. This business is very well located because it's next to the Arena.

02/07/2025: Took my very picky Italian parents to this restaurant when we went to Sorrento. They loved it so much we kept going back the whole time we were there. If you want good food that tastes homemade and don't want to pay a ridiculous price,this is the place for you. Good food at a reasonable price 😉😊🥰

15/06/2025: While staying at Agerola, I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel owner and was so satisfied that I went there two days in a row. The food, atmosphere, and service were all satisfactory, and the price was good! This is a restaurant I recommend if you come to the South. The draft beer and local wine were also really delicious. Thank you for giving me a happy time.

01/07/2025: For me, Il Divino restaurant has always been a guarantee. We have been here on several occasions, the last time we were four, we had supplì (very good) and the pizza, it was exceptional, thin, crunchy and very light. The service was very fast, excellent value for money! Thank you!
