This restaurant is located in the historic center of Gioia del Colle, opposite the castle. The service was good. The appetizers could be improved. The first courses were excellent. The price was decidedly high for what we got.

An intimate, clean, well-maintained, and characteristic brick restaurant. Extremely friendly staff, especially the young waitress who served us. Superb food, from appetizers to dessert. I highly recommend it.

It was a great experience. The location is very pretty, rustic yet modern. We were welcomed kindly and served well. The staff is clearly well-trained. The food was excellent, from the appetizers to the recommended wine. The price of the dishes is more than reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Finally, I must say that the location is also well-designed, as it's right in front of the castle of Frederick II of Swabia, and as you enter and exit, it's a pleasant view. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is located in the historic center, right in front of the Swabian Castle. The location is very welcoming and warm. The friendly and attentive service was excellent. The food was good. The wine list was excellent.

09/05/2026: Beautiful, austere church, with a crypt and an old mosaic floor from the early church. Can be visited for a fee. Tickets are for sale next to the church. You can also buy a ticket for the museum for an additional 3 euros (2026).

10/06/2026: La Campagnola restaurant and pizzeria in the Bari hinterland, in the center of Bitritto, offers a balanced menu of typical local and regional specialties. The generous appetizers and welcoming atmosphere pay homage to the old 17th-century olive oil mill, which has been perfectly transformed into a refined, clean restaurant. Last but not least, a special thanks goes to the Bitonto prodigy, Cosimo, who gave us the opportunity to discover his world and his well-cooked, flavorful, and very light pizzas. I'll conclude by saying that the next time we pass through Bitritto, we'll definitely come to La Campagnola. And, as I always say, enjoy!
10/06/2026: In the heart of the ancient city of Bitritto, we discovered a hidden gem. La Campagnola is a pizzeria located inside a former 17th-century olive oil mill. The location features ancient stone walls that lend the experience a relaxing atmosphere. The service from the entire staff is simply exceptional. The quality of the products is superb; I recommend the Slow Food cheese board and the Cinta Sienese pizza. Pizza chef Cosimo is a master of leavened products and will be able to recommend the best dishes for you, as will the entire staff. A fantastic experience; we will definitely be back.
