07/04/2024: Mediocre... I took two flavors that in themselves should have been contrasting, egg cream (white and I'm already having doubts) and salted caramel.... If it weren't for the difference in colour, tasting them with my eyes closed I would have said that it was a single flavor and very close to fiordilatte. Rejected. Homemade ice cream is something else.
Prices not in line with other ice cream shops.
01/04/2024: For me, a mixed Sicilian taste. And semifreddo cakes are the best in all of Varese. Super super biscuits 😋😋😋

18/02/2024: If you want to eat meat really well you have to go to Balabiott. Now we are at home with Sara, always attentive to our needs, and her partner, a very good cook with a passion for matured meat. From choosing the best meats to the best cooking you can find. Overall, highly recommended! The pizza and desserts are also top, obviously.

Really quality burger, Diaframma which is butter.
But the chickpea burgers with beer Balabiot sauce are also good.

20/03/2024: A simple, well-kept but nice environment, clean even in the toilets, equipped with soap and hand dryers (not in all places you will find them provided, I consider it the attention paid to hygiene)
The staff were really friendly, smiling, I noticed the attention and care for the customer,
We took Chips, a complete plate with chips
And a delicious Turkish dessert.
The taste of the dessert was offered to us by the house.
It's a place I recommend you try you won't be disappointed.

03/04/2024: What a lovely little gem we discovered today, after a visit to the radiology department we stopped for a quick coffee and we’re pleasantly surprised when we were offered their home made speciality of strudel jam stuffed into their croissant. It was delicious and the coffee too. Also very convenient with paid parking right in front.

06/04/2024: Very characteristic, beautiful, intimate environment. The staff were really prepared and kind. The particular customer care is noticeable. There were two of us, delicious food, normal portions. Price appropriate for the food and the place. We will be back.

21/11/2023: Esperienza molto piacevole anche per ragioni non legate al cibo.
Abbiamo apprezzato la piacevole accoglienza e la simpatica conversazione con i gestori. Il cibo era ben confezionato e curato. Il risotto con l'osso buco di tradizione -che non si trova ormai quasi più - ottimo così come la polenta con zola e funghi.
Notevole il tiramisù con gli amaretti, una scoperta. Torneremo spesso, anche perché Maccagno è un paese splendido, per me il paese meglio tenuto della provincia di Varese.. per distacco anche.
17/10/2023: If only half of the pitches at Lagocamp were designated, if at least 50% of the pitches had a lake view and if there were only half as many dogs on the pitch, I could say that it is a nice campsite. Unfortunately, the only positive thing left is the sanitary facilities and the helpfulness of the staff. Everything else, especially the narrowness, has little to do with a campsite that deserves 5 stars. Sorry.

06/04/2024: I really like ice cream and have eaten many in many different places. Well, this is the best ice cream I have ever eaten in my life, I am really impressed. I ordered dark chocolate and a pistachio with salt, which I think is new this month. They are both spectacular, creamy and with a great flavor. If you come to Varese be sure to try them

16/03/2024: The place is not very large, but well furnished and very nice. Excellent sandwiches, I tried the one with porchetta and scamorza, fantastic. But the offer is very varied and also includes excellent salads and platters. Separate mention for the craft beers, excellent with the possibility of tasting to evaluate the one we like most. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking in the immediate vicinity. I highly recommend it 🔝

03/04/2024: And all at zero km, as soon as you pass the entrance door you think you are at your uncles' house, the ones with the large dining room, you start with mixed starters and gradually all the other courses arrive, with a relaxing rhythm, all made by them with quality products and it feels great, we didn't have anything left over just the empty plates, they are a nice and kind couple who always served us with a sincere smile, fair price, I recommend booking in advance, right parking for guests
