Volandia was a pleasant surprise just a stone's throw from Malpensa.
A splendid flight museum park with numerous pavilions filled with historic planes, helicopters, jets, and hot air balloons.
The highlight: you can go up and visit some of the planes.
Kids love the inflatables and flight simulators.
Lunch can be arranged with a picnic, or there's a fast food restaurant with reasonable prices.
All the volunteers are friendly and available to provide information.
Worth a visit whether you're a flight enthusiast or just want to spend a different kind of Sunday with the kids.

Beautiful nose, lots of aeronautical material, not only planes and helicopters, but also cars, public transport, the highlight, however, are the planes and helicopters, a great mix of ancient and modern, and on Sundays the ignition of the jet of a real plane, small children's park and internal bistro, the shop is very well stocked, clothing, gadgets, models, pens, etc. etc. absolutely worth a visit

On this occasion, there was also an exhibition on Caproni and an accompanying art competition. There was also a Bertoni exhibition. I didn't see the B52. Very nice, well-maintained. I recommend it.

Volandia - a great option to spend the day before the flight with whole family. But it's a problem to get to it. First go to the exit 19, turn right and pass the bridge. Then there will be one more walking bridge. Pass it too! You will stand near the fence of Volandia. You need to go right on the almost invisible path. You need to turn over the entire museum territory. Do not be afraid - it takes no more than 10 min. About the museum - it's great, but in fact it is a little old and some places and stands are abandoned.

The museum is very rich in aircraft. In my opinion, it needs maintenance. Many things are dusty. Considering that the adult ticket costs 23 euros, perhaps a little more attention could be paid.

Visited with friends. Very interesting even for non-experts. Perhaps the pavilions could be a little cooler with simple fans. A few more signs. The playground for children is excellent, as is the simulator area. Recommended for a relaxing day out.
