31/05/2026: We had dinner for the first time last night and will never go back. The place wasn't very clean. We had a table outside that was covered in cobwebs, no signs of cleaning, and then it took over 20 minutes for someone to come to take orders. Then a gentleman, I think the owner, showed up, wearing shorts and without washing his hands. He was half cashiering, half serving, and half putting toppings on the pizzas. It's definitely not the ideal place for those who care about cleanliness. What a shame!

25/05/2026: Excellent restaurant for the freshness of the food, the simplicity of the cooking (I'm especially referring to the grilled fish), the wonderful location on the Strait of Lavena, and the courtesy of the staff. The last time I tried the French fries: out of this world! Prices are reasonable for the location. Thank you!

06/05/2026: Top hotel in a prime location right on Lake Varese. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms always fresh and clean. The view from the second floor on the lake side is stunning. Dining in the restaurant is also a treat. If I ever come back to Varese, I'll definitely stay there again.

03/06/2026: If I could give zero stars, I would have gladly. I arrived at 10:30 in the morning and politely asked ONE employee for a large stuffed focaccia. Three responded, and then got the order wrong. Guess what, I was given a small stuffed focaccia for €5. I asked for a peach tea, but there wasn't even a glass. I looked for a table to sit at. There was a tray full of dirty cups that needed to be washed (every table has cups and trays that need to be removed). My boyfriend took it upon himself to remove everything. A second employee arrived who had seen everything and didn't even say thank you. Among all of them, a great desire to work. Never again.

06/05/2026: Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Perfect hosts, willing to adapt the menu to be vegetarian. We felt right at home and were even able to buy some exquisite olive oil!

16/05/2026: A place where, even the first time you enter, you feel at home. The staff is very welcoming and genuinely spontaneous. The selection of beers is interesting, which is what we ordered with a group of friends for an after-dinner drink.

10/05/2026: A really nice place, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I wasn't particularly impressed with the burger, not because it wasn't good, but simply because I expected a little more from the smash burger concept (so in this case it's just a matter of personal taste). Excellent value for money. Recommended!

18/05/2026: It's been a while since Lucia gave me the opportunity to explore the quality of real gelato "behind the scenes" by writing a blog post. It's still the best gelato I've ever tasted in my life. I'll try to indulge myself by making a short trip from home as soon as I empty the freezer. The whole family appreciates it! I know the commitment and passion that goes into it, and for me as a food blogger, food is important.

07/05/2026: Intrigued by the name, I found myself eating excellent food. Fast service, friendly and helpful staff, and, above all, slightly larger portions than any other restaurant. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.
