Great campsite, very clean, friendly staff and in a lovely quiet location. We really enjoyed it!

The fantastic location by the lake is a plus, as is the very friendly receptionist, the bar, and the many trees. [However, there was often no TV reception, but that didn't matter to us.] The campsites are pleasantly scattered and somewhat haphazardly arranged.
The positives are the fantastic location by the lake, the very friendly receptionist, the bar, and the many trees. [The negatives are] the frequent lack of TV reception, but that didn't matter to us. To have some peace and quiet here and to advertise ourselves as family-friendly, rules are needed [from the campsite and parents]. What was once a truly beautiful campsite has become chaotic, used as a giant playground by children of all ages. Children, constantly screaming and running wild, rode their bikes and scooters all day long, often at high speed, all over the access roads. They also played ball games right in front of other people's campervans or on newly vacated pitches next door. They ran across our pitches and used every available space to make a lot of noise, and parents even encouraged them. Reading a book outside was impossible. Half the campers without children were appalled and angry, but no one intervened. We are frequent campers, and we have never experienced anything like this, not even in Sicily, where it's quieter. We complained personally to those involved and also to reception. They promised to look into the matter more closely. They mostly laughed at us, and then the little kid tried to annoy us even more. Consideration for everyone is a must when camping, but so is taking action if that doesn't work. To ensure a pleasant atmosphere again, people should at least speak up at the front. We were the only ones, and everyone was just complaining amongst themselves. Then nothing much can happen.
Perhaps as a suggestion: build a larger playground, use only one road for scooters, and let them play on the huge beach. Also, explain to the children how to behave in the diverse community of young, middle-aged, and old so that everyone can enjoy their vacation. It's not the children's fault. Have the courage to stand up for yourself and your free time. We all have a right to a holiday. Best regards, Ruth Korczak
P.S. If groups with 10 or more small children keep showing up here, it's probably important in this day and age to take the time to address rules for adults and children in such close quarters, or to make some general changes. We would gladly come back again.

So, we were able to spend a week here. Let's start with the reception. The people were incredibly helpful, very friendly, and accommodating.
Our power cable was too short, but no problem—we got one immediately. We arrived a day early, also no problem—and were given a nice spot. My wife had a cast on her foot, and they readily provided her with a key to the accessible toilet so she could sit down while showering.
The location is right on the beach and very quiet. The sanitary facilities were spotless, 11 out of 10. The campsite is impeccably maintained. The ferry, just a 5-minute walk away, takes you everywhere—markets, etc. Dogs are welcome and even have a dog shower.
All in all, it's definitely worth a visit. Simply top-notch!
Many thanks to the LAGOCAMP team.

Discovered this campsite by chance while touring the towns around Lake Maggiore with a camper.
Well-maintained, quiet, and with spotless, modern bathrooms. Large pitches and direct access to the beach. The guests were all German and Swiss...but that wasn't a problem.
Highly recommended.

A very nice, clean, and pleasant campsite right on Lake Maggiore. We stayed here over Easter 2026 and enjoyed it very much. The owners speak German. Restaurants and pizzerias are nearby (a 5-10 minute walk). The campsite has clean, new, and modern toilet and shower facilities. You can find everyday necessities at the reception/bar. There's also a larger grocery store a 15-minute walk away. Highly recommended for short or long stays.

Excellent campsite. Dogs welcome. The lake is right in front of the campsite, with a grassy area for dogs. There's also a fenced-in dog area next door for them to relieve themselves. The gate has a code for entry until 10:00 PM.
There's another gate at the main entrance after 10:00 PM, also with a code for entry.
Small bar with a mini-market. Supermarket and bakery are about a 10-minute walk away.
Pizza delivery service to reception. Excursions are possible by boat, train, bus, bicycle, or on foot.
The sanitary facilities are always clean. The shower cubicles are large enough and have a shelf for shower gel.

We arrived at Lago Camp without a reservation, and it was beautiful. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a great spot. Dogs are very welcome. They can play in the water off-leash, away from the other swimmers. There's a fenced-in dog run with a poop bag dispenser and fresh water. The restrooms were super clean and well-maintained. The owners are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

For a brief moment, I thought this place might be suitable for us... However, at €1.50 per kilowatt-hour, it's uninteresting. I don't even pay that much at our overpriced campsites in Switzerland. Bye bye

This campsite on Lake Maggiore absolutely delighted us. The location is simply unbeatable – just steps from the lake. Dogs are welcome (please check the website for the dates!). From our pitch, we had a fantastic view and could enjoy the sunrise over the water every morning. The campsite facilities are excellent: modern showers, always clean toilets, and even a small restaurant with delicious Italian dishes. What we particularly liked was the peaceful atmosphere, which makes the campsite an ideal place to relax, as well as its proximity to towns like Stresa, which can be reached in a short time. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature, tranquility, and comfort. A definite favorite for us!
