The ice creams are amazing, the flavors are interesting (the walnut and caramelized figs are worthy of applause) and never boring, and the girl at the counter is really kind. 5 stars, but it deserves more.

01/11/2025: After almost two years, we returned to CUCINA BARZETTI and are so happy to have rediscovered everything that made us fall in love with the restaurant the first time. The chef's dishes are exceptional in flavor and a feast for the eyes, too. He is always 100% available to explain each course or just chat. His wife, Laura, and the rest of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. It's definitely the perfect restaurant to feel at home, pampered by exquisite food and unique people. Thank you. 30/10/2025: Beautiful location on a narrow street in Malnate. Elegant and refined atmosphere. Excellent dishes from the menu. Welcome entree and desserts were very welcome. Excellent desserts. Fine wines. A chat with the very friendly chef Barzetti. Impeccable service.

01/12/2025: Has management changed? My goodness, it's not like it used to be... bring the panigacci back to how they were!!! Burnt panigacci, poor and absent service, poor quality, disgusting appetizers. What happened??? It was so good!!!!

19/10/2025: For the first time I have to say that it is a bit disappointing more for the service than for the food, it has never happened to me to order appetizers, eat and in the meantime be told by the waiter if we had finished eating because the first courses were ready, and it is not that we were slow, and to notice that the service varied from table to table, I think that it takes a lot of professionalism in what you do, we will definitely not go back.

09/11/2025: A restaurant like few others in the area. From starters to main courses, with both meat and fish specialties, you're sure to have a truly satisfying experience. Here you can enjoy fresh, well-prepared fish as well as excellent pizza. The oven is clearly visible next to the bar at the entrance. Two spacious dining rooms, the perfect place to celebrate events like confirmations or birthdays, or simply for a group dinner, and last but not least, a large and very clean restroom. Excellent service and always friendly and helpful waiters round it all off. The price is more than reasonable. Excellent. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

26/10/2025: I'd like to review only the osteria since I didn't stay. I'll start with the place: welcoming, beautiful, and well-kept. A warm and antique style, but not too much so. The staff is sooooo kind, friendly, and obviously professional. The food is incredibly satisfying, both aesthetically and in terms of how it's presented, and in terms of its flavor, which exudes quality and deliciousness. Pictured: cured meats appetizer, saffron and sausage risotto, tagliatelle with hare ragù, pumpkin-filled ravioli with a pumpkin base topped with lots of delicious ingredients, mushrooms, feta, chestnuts, etc. Dessert: tarts, tartines, and vanilla ice cream. There were so many other delicious ones! The wide selection of wines is not to be overlooked. In short... go there without batting an eyelid!

19/10/2025: A very, very positive experience. I went with my husband on this occasion and he was very impressed by the kindness of the waitresses, by the food, and by the quaint place. We tried some unique pizzas... I had the "Giovanna," which was exceptional, crispy, just the way I like it. All unique, high-quality products 🔝🔝🔝🔝 Highly recommend it and I think we'll be back. 👍👍👍👍

20/08/2025: This is my favorite restaurant for business lunches in Gallarate, both for its excellent value and the speed and courtesy of the service. I've been going there for several years, even before this latest management. It should be noted that this latest management has significantly improved the location, making it even more welcoming and refined, both inside and out. The lunchtime menu offers a good selection, with several options to choose from. And let's not forget the homemade bread and focaccia, a true delight! Considering the restaurant isn't very large, to be on the safe side, I recommend making a reservation, even for lunch, just to make sure you don't miss out... especially if you plan to arrive late for lunch.
