09/02/2026: I gave the food three stars because, without a doubt, their strong point is the pizza, which is delicious. The rest is a matter of course... If you come on Saturday and Sunday, they give the impression they want to rush you out. I've been to this restaurant three times and noticed that if you come during the week, they work properly, but on Saturday and Sunday, they're like an assembly line. Gorgeous location with an excellent view! Fair prices for pizzas and desserts, but if you want first and second courses, other places are better. Unfortunately, Angera is a deathbed...

27/12/2025: I went to Osteria Dul Tarlisu the other evening with friends, and the overall impression was positive, though not perfect. The atmosphere is truly the highlight: as soon as you enter, you feel transported to an old Lombard tavern, with walls lined with copperware, vintage bottles, and wooden furniture that make everything feel very intimate and warm. It's the ideal place if you're looking for a casual yet characterful atmosphere. Moving on to the food, we ordered traditional classics. The risotto was perfectly cooked and very flavorful, and the meat was tender, just as you'd expect in a place like this. You can tell the ingredients are carefully selected and there's a strong connection to the local area. However, the wait times were a bit inconsistent: between the appetizer and the main course, we waited a bit too long, even though the place wasn't completely full. The staff is friendly and approachable, making you feel at home, even if they sometimes seem a bit rushed. As for the bill, I'd say it's fair for the quality, although some individual dishes are perhaps slightly above average for the quantity. In short: an excellent choice for those who love traditional cuisine and want to escape from the same old, modern restaurants. I'd definitely return to try the other dishes on the menu, perhaps hoping for a little quicker service.

On the contrary, what you see on the menu is exactly what you get at your table, without any strange surprises or "creative" portions. And that alone is a huge plus. The taste is surprising. We tried practically everything, and every dish was exquisite, with full, bold, authentic flavors. You can taste the genuine pursuit of Tyrolean and Bavarian cuisine behind it, not just a randomly revisited version. The atmosphere is warm and super familiar, making you feel immediately at ease. The attention to detail is also evident, like the staff dressed in traditional attire, which makes the experience even more immersive and unique. It's a perfect place to spend a pleasant evening, whether as a couple or with friends. It's also ideal for a different kind of aperitif: a nice beer, a few samples of their dishes, and the evening flies by like a dream. An additional note, not to be taken for granted. Even those who aren't fans of sausages or more "rich" fare will find alternatives like sliced ​​steak, fillet steak, and more classic dishes. That said, it would be a shame not to indulge in their selection of traditional dishes. In such a unique place, it's worth experiencing it to the fullest. Highly recommended. If you're in Varese and want to eat well, drink better, and have a wonderful evening, W11 Cucina Alpina is absolutely worth a visit.

25/12/2025: Today, to celebrate Christmas, I had lunch here with my family. First of all, the place was magnificent and welcoming, from the ground floor to the first. The waiters were exceptional, and I can assure you, the food is truly delicious. The best dishes, in my opinion, were the chickpea cream soup and the turkey parcel. I'll be back soon.

20/11/2025: We celebrated our baby girl's baptism on Sunday evening... everything was perfect: the dining room, the attention to the guests, the abundance of food, and above all, the care. A truly wonderful evening! We began with an appetizer buffet and were pleasantly surprised to see it: beautiful colors, plentiful, varied, and well-organized. Whatever ran out was immediately replaced, always making sure there were options for those with intolerances. The dinner then continued at the table with a first course and a second course, which absolutely satisfied everyone, always returning to the tables for those who had room for seconds. The homemade cake matched the rest of the dinner in terms of freshness and deliciousness, and there was never a lack of attention and friendliness. 04/02/2026: It was a fabulous experience from the first time! The dishes are simply exquisite, very generous. I had the privilege of trying almost everything, from the game meats to the polenta, to the pasta dishes with venison and roe deer ragù. The braised beef with polenta is by far the best I've ever had! The place is warm and welcoming, the staff professional and very friendly. I was struck by the honesty, friendliness, and expertise of the owner. At the table next to mine, she advised some guests to eliminate some orders because they wouldn't be able to eat everything; they had ordered from appetizer to dessert. The portions are indeed generous; if you're on a diet, let me know in advance if you want a half portion! ;) The chef, well... a friendly person and always on the ball, the fresh, carefully selected meats are cooked carefully, the kitchen is immaculately clean, as you can see for yourself thanks to the huge window that allows a view inside. I confess, out of curiosity, I asked to know how the preparation, cooking, etc., are done. :) Highly recommended place, book on weekends otherwise you risk not finding a seat!
