15/10/2025: I wanted to try this place again; my first experience had made me realize it wasn't anything special. After two years, I found out the restaurant had changed management, so I prepared to try it for the second time. I've never had a worse experience; the restaurant hasn't improved at all, in fact, it's gotten worse. Despite the very nice atmosphere, everything else leaves much to be desired, starting with the dishes, which weren't all perfectly clean. I didn't like them at first glance. As soon as the dishes arrived, I noticed that, compared to other places I usually go, the food wasn't taken care of at all, not to mention the taste: the fish tasted strongly of detergent. And even before tasting, you could tell the poor quality of the products thanks to the excessive amount of sauces, toppings, and decorations (very annoying), which were probably added because the quality of the products wasn't good. After finishing this lousy lunch, I went to pay, but I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even bothered to listen to me. I don't recommend it for people who want to eat something good.

06/10/2025: Wonderful as always! We celebrated my mom's birthday and what can I say? The fish was so fresh, the appetizers were fabulous, and the tart was delicious (naturally homemade)! They also cater to kids with special dishes! I love Olio! The staff is incredibly kind and professional. They do everything they can to make their customers happy.

10/10/2025: After a long time, I finally managed to visit this restaurant, and I had a great time. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, small but charming location. What can I say about the food? Delicious and excellent quality. I highly recommend it if you're in Varese.

14/10/2025: I arrived with my partner without a reservation and we were immediately greeted warmly by the staff who pamper you and make you feel at home. Congratulations! Stunning location, especially the area with the fireplace! Superlative menu with top-quality products! I tried the phenomenal burnt wheat pizza and the delicious pumpkin cheesecake! Highly recommended! 5 stars +++++

06/10/2025: Very refined atmosphere with a few tables inside, and friendly, welcoming staff. I recommend booking in advance to be safe, although I went on a Sunday from around 1:20 PM until 2:00 PM, and there were probably 4-5 tables occupied. I ordered 1L of still water and the Barese pasta made with burnt wheat dough, which was truly excellent. Total: €20

18/10/2025: The meat was good, but the portions were a bit pricey. A special mention to the bartender, who was kind and helpful, as well as skilled at making cocktails (the sangria was excellent).

18/10/2025: Exactly a week ago, we were at the restaurant, and we still think about the tragic incident today. The manager reacted without an emergency plan, and we had to eat dinner when a person next door vomited several times into the ice bucket brought by the staff. We were only able to change tables when we reacted (no action was ever taken), and then when the patient went outside on his own. The manager wasn't even at the table with the patient and the guests in the pavilion. He only delegated his staff from the inside (behind the counter) of the restaurant and from the sidewalk. When the patient fainted or felt unwell, no one at any table checked whether a doctor or paramedic was nearby (first aid). An employee (not the manager) called the paramedics from the sidewalk, which took about 12 minutes to arrive. The food we received was very good, as was the waitress, but the manager hadn't done his homework. Already at the welcome (7:30 p.m.), the table we had reserved and confirmed at the restaurant was only assigned a temporary table on the terrace. The waiter told us the restaurant was closed, but we later saw guests inside. The manager confirmed via WhatsApp (only on the second attempt) the numerous errors made in emergency management and dealing with guests in the immediate vicinity of the patient. Unfortunately, since he was never at the patient's table, he couldn't assess the situation (heard it only from third parties). To compensate for the management errors, we were offered another free dinner, which we gladly declined. Since our address and bank details are known, the manager is happy to refund us or request our bank details again via WhatsApp. The evening a week ago was not a pleasant one. Sitting next to the poor patient, who suffered several fainting spells and had to remain at the table on the manager's orders, without immediate, professional assistance being taken outside in the fresh air and without consideration being given to the customers.

10/09/2025: We went to Ishi, an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Busto Arsizio, but unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed. The selection is fairly average, and compared to other sushi restaurants in the area, I didn't find anything that stood out. Furthermore, as a celiac, I had a hard time finding suitable dishes: if you limit yourself to sushi, the selection is really limited, while other restaurants in the area cater much more to those who can't eat gluten. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's not a place I'd recommend if you're looking for more thoughtful and inclusive options.

My all-time favorite is the Chianina burger, but the Fassona Piemontese one is just as incredible — tender and bursting with authentic flavor. You can tell they choose with taste and heart. The staff? Warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do. The ambiance? 12/10/2025: A very nice Japanese restaurant, with modern and charming decor. The service is excellent and extremely friendly! The food, especially the sushi, is simply wow! Extremely good and made with great attention to detail! Dogs are also welcome.

30/09/2025: 5 well-deserved stars. I went here on Thursday evening with a friend, it was my first time, and I was extremely satisfied. I had an XL bowl; the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the flavor was excellent. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and tidy. The staff was cheerful and friendly. It was a truly wonderful experience that I'll definitely repeat when I'm in the area!
