20/12/2025: A truly awful experience. We asked for a simple tomato pasta dish for our daughter and were told they only had spaghetti with clams, without even offering a simple pasta dish. The outdoor seating area was tiny, with a heater that made the air almost unbreathable. When we dared to move our table slightly because our backs were burning, the staff complained arrogantly, as if we had broken a sacred rule. The service was cold, rigid, and rude: absolutely not recommended for anyone with children or looking for even a modicum of courtesy.

21/12/2025: It was so delicious, it made me dizzy with the aroma! I was so engrossed in eating it that I didn't even have time to take pictures. I wanted to take the chef home with me! The owner was incredibly kind and even gave me a bunch of chocolates.

On the contrary, what you see on the menu is exactly what you get at your table, without any strange surprises or "creative" portions. And that alone is a huge plus. The taste is surprising. We tried practically everything, and every dish was exquisite, with full, bold, authentic flavors. You can taste the genuine pursuit of Tyrolean and Bavarian cuisine behind it, not just a randomly revisited version. The atmosphere is warm and super familiar, making you feel immediately at ease. The attention to detail is also evident, like the staff dressed in traditional attire, which makes the experience even more immersive and unique. It's a perfect place to spend a pleasant evening, whether as a couple or with friends. It's also ideal for a different kind of aperitif: a nice beer, a few samples of their dishes, and the evening flies by like a dream. An additional note, not to be taken for granted. Even those who aren't fans of sausages or more "rich" fare will find alternatives like sliced ​​steak, fillet steak, and more classic dishes. That said, it would be a shame not to indulge in their selection of traditional dishes. In such a unique place, it's worth experiencing it to the fullest. Highly recommended. If you're in Varese and want to eat well, drink better, and have a wonderful evening, W11 Cucina Alpina is absolutely worth a visit.

25/12/2025: Today, to celebrate Christmas, I had lunch here with my family. First of all, the place was magnificent and welcoming, from the ground floor to the first. The waiters were exceptional, and I can assure you, the food is truly delicious. The best dishes, in my opinion, were the chickpea cream soup and the turkey parcel. I'll be back soon.

20/11/2025: We celebrated our baby girl's baptism on Sunday evening... everything was perfect: the dining room, the attention to the guests, the abundance of food, and above all, the care. A truly wonderful evening! We began with an appetizer buffet and were pleasantly surprised to see it: beautiful colors, plentiful, varied, and well-organized. Whatever ran out was immediately replaced, always making sure there were options for those with intolerances. The dinner then continued at the table with a first course and a second course, which absolutely satisfied everyone, always returning to the tables for those who had room for seconds. The homemade cake matched the rest of the dinner in terms of freshness and deliciousness, and there was never a lack of attention and friendliness. 19/01/2026: Ridiculous minimal dishes: skewers with two mini gemberi. You get 4 skewers, that's two plates, and you can't get more than 10 small plates, not plates, because they're all mini tastings, and it's supposed to be all-you-can-eat. Of course not. And nothing's written on the menu. As soon as you order the eleventh dish, we'll let you know you can't. By ordering several appetizers, you won't get to the main course.
