18/09/2025: We went there for an aperitif on a night with live music. The place is perhaps a little small for this type of event, but in any case, we ate and drank very well, and the service was courteous and fast.

Professional and friendly staff
16/08/2025: We spent a night here as a family while on a stopover. The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms we had were small but very clean and pleasant. The surroundings are simply magnificent, with a breathtaking Italian garden overlooking Lake Varese. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was simple and delicious.

An appetizer, a pizza, two desserts, and water cost €70, which is crazy.
30/09/2025: Terrible experience. We were two families with small children. The children's pizzas arrived after 40 minutes, burnt, and the kids had been entertaining themselves by sitting at the table coloring. For dessert, we were asked if we wanted lemon or strawberry sorbet. We chose strawberry, and after a 20-minute wait, we stopped a waiter who told us strawberry sorbet wasn't available. Anyway, after 10 minutes, they brought us melted strawberry ice cream, claiming it was sorbet. Terrible experience.

Very fast service and attentive, friendly staff.
Abundant and delicious dishes: fresh pasta (spaghetti alla chitarra with clams and zucchini and orecchiette with vegetables), mixed fried fish, grilled cuttlefish, and grilled swordfish.
The grilled vegetables were also very good.
The desserts were excellent (house-made tiramisu, as well as strawberry cheesecake and meringue with hot chocolate).
Prices were reasonable.
12/10/2025: Impeccable service: I've rarely seen such speed and precision. Short wait times. Truly an excellent restaurant!

18/07/2025: I ordered from Deliveroo after a busy day at work and it was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't familiar with this pub and will definitely stop by one evening for a beer and the "matt sandwich" again; it was delicious! I'm not giving it a 5 only because, in my opinion, a little more béarnaise sauce would have been perfect. The fries were spectacular, incredibly crispy and delicious!

10/10/2025: The cutlets were delicious and huge, and with the Thursday coupon we paid even less. The waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere was charming and rustic.
10/10/2025: Must try!! 5 stars for everything, especially because reading the many comments, everyone seems to have a great time, but rating it 4/5 only lowers its reputation. The place deserves the highest rating, though!
The cutlet and the tartare and stracciatella appetizer were both excellent.

06/10/2025: The essence of my city's history...the owners are expert in their craft...without the affectations and theatrics of inexperienced, tattooed bartenders...Bar Torino is a dimension of simplicity...I go in because I feel like I've gone back in time to a time when the world was untouched. The owners' quiet, reserved style deserves great respect.
