I can barely find the words to describe how wonderful our evening in this enchanting little restaurant was. It is so much more than just a place to eat…it is a true oasis of warmth and hospitality.
From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such genuine kindness and loving attention that we instantly felt like part of an Italian family. This kind of personal, thoughtful care is so rare to find these days. And the food? An absolute dream! You can taste the love and passion in every single bite.

We came very hungry and thirsty after walking up the chapel way. All other restaurants were closed in Sacro Monte on this Tuesday afternoon. The family was so kind and soooo friendly and provided us the best food and cool drinks - marvellous!!

We arrived with a reservation at 1:15 PM, ordered two platters, a main dish each, and wine. The platters arrived at 2:05 PM. We left around 3:30 PM.
The place is nice, but the service could be improved; we had to insist on getting a second round of water and bread. A draft beer never arrived. We spent €33 per person.

The dishes aren't bad, but the chef has no sense of limits when it comes to using salt and pepper.
We had to send back the fried gnocco because it was covered in salt, and imaginably the same thing happened with the carbonara, which was drowned in pepper. It's a shame because the dishes themselves were basically good, but they were ruined by the excess.
The prices are above average, so quality and attention are essential.

A restaurant located in a charming setting, simple yet meticulously crafted. Extensive menu and quality wine list. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses, risotto, and polenta, but the cantucci tiramisu is a real treat. Friendly, kind, and helpful staff. Special mention to Chiara, the very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind dining room manager. Congratulations, guys! See you next time!
