23/11/2025: Very friendly staff. The hostess is very kind and sociable, and you can tell she loves her job. Her husband, the chef, is truly amazing. We had to choose from the various dishes offered, but we wanted to try them all: homemade pasta, top-quality cured meats, and amazing cakes. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Reservations required.

27/10/2025: I've known this place since I was a boy, and it's always been a success, both for the ambiance and the quality. The food is excellent, accompanied by good wine in front of a roaring fireplace. The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Reservations are recommended, especially in the winter. Seating is limited, even though there is plenty of space, but here, quality, not quantity, is paramount. The parking lot outside is open until 4 p.m., with a few games for children and a stunning view of Lake Maggiore that's truly worth it. The road to get there is a bit rough, so take it slowly, with its typical hairpin bends and narrow streets, but it's manageable.

18/07/2025: I ordered from Deliveroo after a busy day at work and it was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't familiar with this pub and will definitely stop by one evening for a beer and the "matt sandwich" again; it was delicious! I'm not giving it a 5 only because, in my opinion, a little more béarnaise sauce would have been perfect. The fries were spectacular, incredibly crispy and delicious!

06/09/2025: This place in the center of Varese was discovered by friends after a Varese basketball game. The food and beer are absolutely top-notch, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. A must-try!

02/07/2025: My best friend and I discovered this bakery by chance and it was an incredible experience: the pizza is excellent, as are the olive and tomato rolls (not to mention the meringues!). But above all, the gentleman is adorable and took the time to explain everything to us even though we didn't understand Italian very well. In short, I can only recommend this truly local and welcoming bakery!

10/11/2025: We had lunch on Sunday at noon. The restaurant was quite full, but the service was still quick and friendly. We had an appetizer and a pizza, so since we didn't order from Cucina, it's impossible to give a full review. The pizza selection, however, is good quality and very varied. The off-menu pizzas are also interesting. The whole-wheat dough is very good, rising just the right amount of time for a light, crispy, and easily digestible pizza.

09/11/2025: 2.5 ⭐ I'll start by saying that I frequented this restaurant for many years when I still lived with my parents—it was one of the family places we often went for dinner. Fifteen years have passed, and I've found the exact same place, for better or worse. The pizza is always good, although last night (which was a very busy Saturday) it wasn't the best. It's a well-known fact that on Saturday nights, all restaurants generally operate worse because there are too many people. That said, I found the service rather clumsy—waiters rushing around and dropping silverware, glasses, forgetting to bring silverware... in short, chaos. They're kind, but, again, almost improvised. The place was packed and chaotic. We could barely talk!!! It was a chaos of chaos for the entire dinner. Never again. I prefer places with fewer seats and a more intimate, relaxed atmosphere and service. I didn't like the dessert at all.

07/11/2025: We dined here last night, taking advantage of the Thursday special on cutlets. It wasn't our first time, and as always, our expectations were not disappointed. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, and the food was excellent, from the appetizers to the superbly seasoned cutlets.

20/09/2025: We came for pizza, but we had to go to the kitchen because there was an hour and a half wait. Then, when they served us from the kitchen, they told us we could also eat pizza. Very rude behavior.

05/09/2025: Terrible experience at the Kiosk (August). We were greeted by a stressed pensioner who huffed and puffed, talking behind his back, and shaking his head at every customer request. It's a shame about the restaurant, which is very nice, and the owner, who seemed very professional. But for goodness sake, let stressed pensioners act like pensioners.
