24/03/2025: Avevo visto le pubblicità sui social, sono passata casualmente davanti con un'amica e le ho proposto di provare per cena. È stata davvero una bella scoperta. Siamo tornati la settimana successiva. Prossimamente proveremo anche la cucina, per ora le pizze ci sono sembrate molto buone.

24/03/2025: Ristorante vecchio stile, vecchio nel senso che avrebbe urgente bisogno di un restyling…. Ciò detto ambiente discretamente confortevole e personale gentilissimo. Trovo purtroppo che i prezzi siano troppo alti. Va bene che serve pesce, ma oramai quanti ristoranti in provincia di Varese servono ottimo pesce a prezzi più abbordabili?!? E’ anche vero che quello che ha fatto lievitare il conto è stata l’aragosta. Peraltro 60 euro per un aragostella (chiamiamola con il suo nome) mi sembrano veramente eccessivi.

30/03/2025: I went to eat on a Saturday night. Even though the place was full, taking appetizers, the pizzas arrived at the right time. Excellent quality with particular ingredients and combinations that you don't easily find in this area. Taking also two bottles of wine, the bill was consistent with the quality and the experience offered. We were also kindly offered a round of amari. The guys serving were very good and young and the owners were very kind. We will definitely be back!

29/03/2025: We waited an hour and a quarter for six pizzas... this was told to us a quarter of an hour after ordering, reason: they told us that a large table had arrived. I think that on a Saturday night you should be prepared for large tables... Also, if you make us wait an hour and a quarter you could offer us an appetizer, or some chips to munch on, or make up for the wait by offering a limoncello or a small discount, in short, in the south or anywhere else with kindness, they would have been much more welcoming, in Tradate instead they tell you annoyed that we had warned us. And that it was our fault that at 8:30, the time of the reservation, we were not all seated.... closed the matter... Too bad that the family that arrived a quarter of an hour late was looking for parking.. since the private parking of the pizzeria was full... The pizzas were good, nothing special. We certainly won't be back

31/03/2025: If you're coming from the airport for lunch, it's not worth it. If you're passing through, you might like it. We didn't find the food very good (we had pasta and pizza), and it was expensive. Maybe if you're going to eat meat, it's different.

Abbiamo preso le pappardelle ai porcini, gli gnocchi al Castelmagno, il maialino cotto a bassa temperatura con i carciofi e il dolce. Tutto davvero delizioso! Personale gentile e servizio veloce. 24/03/2025: First time in this pub which I found really nice, the murals very original and beautiful, the dishes as excellent as the service. The attention to the customer was much appreciated: when they realized that they were dividing the courses to try more things, they served us the second knife specifically for meat! A significant detail. Affability and courtesy, craft beers (I recommend the double lager 8%) wonderful setting, highly recommended!

Il cibo ottimo, le pizze sono le uniche a Malnate a non mettere sete né a rimanere sullo stomaco. Prezzi alla portata di tutti, il titolare, Bruno, un uomo simpatico e attento alle esigenze dei clienti in tutto e per tutto! Io innamorata di questo posto, lo consiglio a tutti!!

22/03/2025: Was here two days ago with family. The restaurant is lovely and well kept and sets up a good atmosphere. However, the menu isn’t clear on how the starters work - prices are charged by person and not for the totality of the dishes. I understand this can happen however it should be explained to customers beforehand. The waiter was quite nice and attentive. The house wine (we’ve chosen the red) was really great, with a light yet interesting taste. Now, for the food. We are Portuguese (one of the best-rated cuisines in the world), we’ve been to Italy before and have eaten in quite a few different places. There is a clear attempt in presenting dishes in a nice, “fine-dining” nuanced way however the flavours aren’t there. The starters are specially average/poor. We paid 72€ just for the starters. Honestly not worth it at all. Overall, not worth the cost. No need to spend 172€ total in Italy to eat good food unless you’re going for a chef restaurant or something more upscale of course.
