20/09/2025: We came for pizza, but we had to go to the kitchen because there was an hour and a half wait. Then, when they served us from the kitchen, they told us we could also eat pizza. Very rude behavior.

05/09/2025: Terrible experience at the Kiosk (August). We were greeted by a stressed pensioner who huffed and puffed, talking behind his back, and shaking his head at every customer request. It's a shame about the restaurant, which is very nice, and the owner, who seemed very professional. But for goodness sake, let stressed pensioners act like pensioners.

13/10/2025: The only restaurant open on Mondays, at the top of the Sacro Monte di Varese, it offers traditional Lombard cuisine; in this season, I recommend trying their polenta, paired with wild boar, gorgonzola, or mushrooms. The blueberry tart is also very good.

22/09/2025: We visited Ristorante Mame in Cardano al Campo, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The restaurant specializes in meat, and this is immediately evident in the attention to detail and the quality of the dishes offered. I chose the sliced ​​beef, which was cooked to perfection: tender, flavorful, and of the highest quality. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere also deserves a mention: clean, well-kept, and welcoming. Another strong point is the passion evident in the eyes of the very young chef. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who loves good meat and a pleasant atmosphere. P.S. Private, well-lit parking.

18/07/2025: I ordered from Deliveroo after a busy day at work and it was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't familiar with this pub and will definitely stop by one evening for a beer and the "matt sandwich" again; it was delicious! I'm not giving it a 5 only because, in my opinion, a little more béarnaise sauce would have been perfect. The fries were spectacular, incredibly crispy and delicious!

02/10/2025: Small but very nice place, without too many things hanging on the walls like other places. I was seated right away. Service was very fast. The Margherita pizza was delicious, as was the panna cotta. At other tables, I saw truly inviting burgers, tartare, and pasta dishes. The waitress was very kind. It's close to the motel where I was staying. The only downside is that the street is completely dark and halfway there's no sidewalk. The bill for 1 Coke, 1 pizza, and 1 panna cotta was 17 euros. Absolutely reasonable.

12/10/2025: The room was okay, but sitting on the loggia was very noisy, as the hotel is practically located at a crossroads. I was looking forward to great Italian food, but unfortunately, that wasn't available there, as the restaurant is very meat-focused. The breakfast was rather spartan. I wouldn't go there again.

15/10/2025: If you want to eat well, without spending much, in a simple atmosphere with friendly staff, this is the place for you. The dishes are prepared with care, the fish dishes are very good. We always order LE PENNE IN BARCA, it's a delicious seafood pasta. I highly recommend it.
