13/06/2025: An unassuming but excellent restaurant. I first went there for lunch with work colleagues for an unbelievable €10(!). After that, it became a standard, primarily because of the quality offered for that price. The service was a bit strange at first, but I got used to it over time. I'm looking forward to my next stay in Varese, and to visiting Sapore di mare again!

I would like to thank the owner of the restaurant separately for taking my order before closing, and I was able to congratulate my wife on this magical evening. The sushi was very tasty, and just melted in my mouth. Thank you for a pleasant evening.

07/07/2025: It is not easy to get there but between the breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the exquisite dishes it is fully worth a visit. I highly recommend it

30/06/2025: Really nice place, very cool in summer. We ate very well, game dishes and very good first courses, also the desserts were very appreciated. They also make pizza but not always, better to ask when booking if you want it. To try. We will be back.

03/05/2025: A very nice moment in this small establishment run by an unconditional rock fan. On the walls are his concert tickets and good country music in the background. On the plate only good things, fresh and homemade. Very warm welcome. A little musical and gourmet break!

13/06/2025: Mi avevano parlato bene di questo posto e l’ho sperimentato. Ho preso una pizza che non mi ha proprio entusiasmato. Cornicione super cotto, direi meglio bruciato, base non cotta a sufficienza. Poteva essere una stata una serata sbagliata del pizzaiolo (che aveva regolato male il forno ) e quindi avrei ritenuto il locale meritevole di un ulteriore tentativo se non fosse che il locale stesso è assolutamente invivibile, con un livello di rumorosità mai riscontrato altrove. Facevo addirittura fatica a fare conversazione con la persona che era al tavolo con me. Siamo letteralmente fuggiti prima possibile. Il locale necessita di un radicale intervento di insonorizzazione e sicuramente finché non verrà fatto non prenderò in considerazione l’ipotesi di sperimentare di nuovo la pizza.

09/06/2025: It's the first time I order I feel sorry for them but it will also be the last. We ordered two pizzas with sausage and broccoli and we got a soft pizza with some sausages on it that were supposed to impersonate the sausage and spinach instead of broccoli🤣 and it also had no sauce maybe the guy on the phone didn't understand what I wanted! anyway I will try to eat the pizza inside their restaurant I hope it's not like the one I got at home when I order it👍🏽

23/06/2025: Very very tasty food, you feel very welcome with the chef/maitre d’hotel who speaks at least 3 languages, gives you an aperitif without alcohol with home-made bread sticks as a gift and probably bakes the other bread on the table himself. We ate a delicious risotto with sea freight and a sea bass al cartoccio (in papillotte) to die for with tasty white (me) and red (Jan) house wine. Not expensive at all, go and try it. ! Quiet airy terrace with some locals.

13/05/2025: I ate really well! Carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors and generous portions. But the real icing on the cake is the friendliness and hospitality of the owner Vincenzo: an exquisite person, number 1! I will definitely return. Congratulations!

06/07/2025: Very rude staff, even answering badly to customers during orders, I do not recommend you take fried foods because they are all frozen, but the food is still salvageable, the problem is the waiters who do not smile are not kind and answer badly to customers. I will never go back there again

02/07/2025: Great pub, delicious food and superlative beer (Grimbergen)! Great location for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, while remaining in the municipality of Varese. Recommended!

08/06/2025: We took 2 cones of two flavors....I would say that the ice cream of this place is not of quality....nothing to do with other ice cream shops in the center of Varese....ice cream without flavor I would say!!
