14/09/2025: Enchanting, made magical by the love and attention to detail put into it by the ladies who run the refuge. We organized our daughter Viola's baptism there. Everything was perfect: food, drinks, and location.
It's a lesser-known place, both due to little publicity and because, unfortunately, Google Maps doesn't show the correct route. A tip when booking: ask for precise directions to the ascent from Besano.

15/06/2025: Nice little restaurant under Monte Orsa, reachable with a nice hike (not too challenging) or even by car. Truly delicious dishes. I highly recommend it!

12/08/2025: You don't notice it right away, or rather you don't notice it if you don't know it, welcomed with great friendliness and excellent service, it almost feels like being in the company of friends, I had a pizza but I would have eaten 2 more, very tasty and light, and without that feeling of thirst that usually leaves you, to return more than willingly

20/08/2025: Delicious! My girlfriend and I went last week and they put a spoonful of ice cream (in my case, Nutella) on top of a cone of other flavors. Since then, I've been waiting to go back and try the Nutella ice cream again. Today I tried the unicorn flavor and I already know I can't wait to go back and try it again in the next few days.

04/10/2025: Too expensive for what they offer. If you want to have a snack during aperitivo, you have to pay for the platter separately, and it's €3 or €5 more per person depending on the size of the platter... too bad they're all tramezzini, pizzas, and paninis that they could easily include with the price of the drink, like other bars do.
The icing on the cake was that the next day we noticed that they charged us €7 on the receipt for an extra drink that no one ever ordered...sorry, but we won't be returning.
25/09/2025: A very nice place located in the historic center of Varese, where Porta Regondella once stood. I drank two glasses of Dolcetto and was served a delicious aperitif consisting of chips, pizza cut into squares, a salami and cheese sandwich, and another savory snack. Very friendly service and a very fair price. Highly recommended!
