It's easy to say "Pizzoccheri"... and when you try Elisa's, you'll feel like you've never eaten them before! There's no need to waste words, just try them! Her restaurant is a must-see, and a stay at her hotel is also highly recommended. If you find yourself in Teglio (a gem of Valtellina) and the surrounding area, don't miss this opportunity! You'll be welcomed by simplicity, tradition, excellent cuisine, and a wonderful sense of family. Maria, Elisa's mother, won't hesitate to offer you the produce from her garden... herbs for the summer version of pizzoccheri, strawberries, and cherries, to name just a few. The bresaola is also excellent, with sciatt, also handmade, of course... and what can I say about the Tzigoiner (meat on a stick)... sublime! Regarding the hotel, I'd recommend the welcoming, spacious, and clean rooms. Spectacular views of the Orobie Alps can be seen from the balconies of the rooms overlooking the mountains and from the restaurant's outdoor terrace. Teglio offers walks and easy hikes (e.g., a visit to the charming Menaglio Mill is a must-see) and is an excellent base for reaching Tirano and the Bernina Express to Saint Moritz, Livigno, Bormio, and its thermal baths. The Sanctuary of the Madonna di Tirano is a must-see, with its 14-meter organ with over 2,000 pipes, one of the most majestic in Europe and truly breathtaking. In Teglio, Palazzo Besta is definitely worth a visit. Enjoy your stay at Elisa's, the heart of tradition in the capital of pizzoccheri.

This chalet-style hotel boasts a great location (the upper rooms also offer a splendid view of the Orobie Alps), private parking, and excellent cuisine. The pizzoccheri are sublime. I've never tasted so good and so plentiful. Unmissable.

This is the fifth time I've stayed at the Hotel Bellavista.... Every time we want to come to Teglio, the only option is this family-run hotel... friendly and kind people who know their job... a clean and quiet environment ideal for relaxing and recharging your batteries... Elisa and Maria are two wonderful hosts... their cuisine is undoubtedly the best in Valtellina at a very fair price... highly recommended...

Pizzoccheri are among the best we've tried. Maria immediately conveys a sense of home, welcome, and genuine attention, along with her family who run the restaurant with care and warmth. A place where you eat well but, above all, feel welcomed.

A very atmospheric place, with a mountain atmosphere and beautiful views. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were given a tiny room (for two people on the second floor), but it had room for a huge, comfortable bed, a wardrobe, and, of course, a bathroom, along with everything you need. I think it's worth noting that the building also has a working elevator. I highly recommend it.

Big hugs to the lady of the house and her family. Thanks to my stay at this hotel, I finally got a taste of Italy. Cozy, quiet, and very tasty. All dishes were prepared with love. Warm smiles and hospitality from the beginning to the end of our stay. The family's matriarch, "Donna," as we called her, has taken a special place in my heart. The hotel is wonderfully situated amidst the mountains; the drive to the hotel itself was exciting, and the views are unforgettable. I had the window open and in the morning I woke up to birdsong, crisp air, and an unforgettable view. If I ever visit this area again, I'll definitely stay at Hotel u Donny. I highly recommend it. A beautiful place, wonderful owners who care for their tourists as if they were family members. The food is delicious, and the ladies go above and beyond. A quiet and charming place.

One night with dinner and breakfast. A family-run hotel with great commitment and an open heart for guests. The rooms are mountain-style, not exactly new, but spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The mountain views are priceless. I'm completely satisfied and highly recommend it.
