30/08/2024: Very nicely located restaurant. Mostly open in summer from 12:30. Reservation recommended. Agriturismo with its own production of cheese, honey, salami etc. Great desserts! Prices are very moderate for the altitude. From the parking lot of the electrical substation it is about 35 minutes uphill on well-paved paths.

23/08/2024: Ottima esperienza in questo piccolo rifugio immerso nel bello! Abbiamo assaggiato il tagliere misto con gli sciat, i pizzoccheri di Chiavenna ( una sorta di gnocchetti ai formaggi e burro di malga), la polenta taragna ( concia), la crostata ai frutti di bosco e il caffè della moka. Tutto SQUISITO, anche il pane, servito in abbondanza, ...per me il primo " biglietto da visita" !!! Molto gentile la giovane cameriera così come la titolare che è anche l'artefice di queste bontà! COMPLIMENTI, assolutamente da consigliare e da tornarvi! BRAVI!!!

20/03/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance. A little dated environment, but with very welcoming and friendly staff. The dishes we ate were all good and freshly prepared, the Cervo lukewarm was fantastic, highly recommended.

17/01/2025: Very welcoming hotel and restaurant in the center of Madesimo, a few steps from the ski slopes. Excellent Alpine dishes prepared with care. You will find both traditional specialties from Valchiavenna and dishes from other mountain areas. You will be welcomed by hospitable people in a very characteristic environment, in perfect Alpine style.

13/04/2025: First of all, great service!!! The waiter is very nice, very helpful, committed and has a great knowledge of what he serves. Delicious dishes, amazing dessert. I highly recommend!

08/04/2025: All negative...only the style of the restaurant is nice. Pizzoccheri really cooked very badly...meat skewer to be avoided as it is poorly cooked...mortadella style wrapped in a wooden skewer! Poorly cooked slow cooked meat...overall poorly matched flavours! Potatoes that really force the chef to taste them and judge them... without flavor without seasoning! Waiters hurry up and spread out along the PANADORA... intent on listening to their voicemails on their cell phones! Another rude thing is that the bill was €92 and by paying €100 they gave me only €5 and pocketed €3 without authorisation... it may be an oversight or something else but in fact it is that as they say in other reviews the service is terrible! Zero star service - 1 star food - 4 star restaurant, 4 star tiramisu!

27/03/2025: Piccole porzioni, prezzi grandi! Abbiamo pagato ognuno la propria quota senza vedere il conto (fatto solo con la calcolatrice e non consegnatoci)! Portato via il pane prima che si finisse di cenare... Servito il vino sbagliato.,.. Insomma, la classe è un'altra cosa!

22/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato una cena tra amiche che non si vedono da tanto tempo in questo ristorante. Abbiamo preso un antipasto e, tra una chiacchierata e l'altra, forse ci siamo un po' attardate nel terminarlo, fatto sta che appena portato via il piatto, ci siamo ritrovate l'altro, quello del primo, sotto il naso senza una spiegazione. Effettivamente l'abbiamo trovato abbastanza buono, ma un po' tiepido come se fosse pronto da tempo. Ora ci si poteva anche approcciare in altro modo, "scusate, possiamo portare subito il vostro piatto?" o "se volete lo rifacciamo, ma dovete attendere un po'". Vabbè la gentilezza in questi casi non è mai troppa e un sorriso in più farebbe dimenticare anche i piccoli errori di cucina.

22/09/2024: The pitch is an absolute insider tip for anyone looking for a simple but wonderful camping experience in the middle of nature. The location is fantastic, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and Lake Mezzola. The pitch itself is on a simple meadow, which is why a relatively long cable is required for the electricity connection in some places. There is a relatively new toilet container and the showers are in outdoor cubicles. These are a bit older and simple, but they absolutely serve their purpose. Particularly noteworthy is the warm friendliness of the operators, who make the stay really pleasant and every now and then a chicken or the house dog runs past. A highlight is the excellent restaurant right at the campsite. There is only one menu, but it is a real treat: 4 courses including house wine for €35 per person - absolutely fair and delicious! This pitch is simply perfect for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.
