07/03/2026: We had dinner at La Rasiga and the experience was truly excellent. A former sawmill transformed into a restaurant offering a warm, typically mountain atmosphere, meticulously maintained and welcoming. The cuisine showcases Valtellina tradition with quality ingredients. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

04/03/2026: I had dinner with my family, and what can I say? We were welcomed into a gorgeous, welcoming place. The staff was attentive, friendly, and the service was fast! We ordered traditional dishes—cured meats and cheeses, sciatt, and pizzoccheri—while two other diners opted for tagliatella with game ragù! When we asked for the bill, we realized that, with wine and service charge, we hadn't even paid €25 each. Recommended!

18/12/2025: Christmas lunch with the Colico CAI group. Excellent value for money. Sciat appetizer, porcini mushroom risotto, and crepes.

12/10/2025: We came for lunch, each having an appetizer (the sciatt, cured meats, and pickled onions, truly delicious), a risotto with taleggio and bresaola, cooked to perfection and showcasing all the flavors. The sliced ​​bread was also very good and well-cooked. For dessert, we had a delicious slice of yogurt and berry cake (it was a shame it was still a bit frozen), and the coffee was served hot. We paid €30 per person, excellent value for money. The view from the table was also quite good.

12/02/2026: 2/10/26 first time here. EVS group dinner. We all had a great time. Everything that we ordered and ate was presented well and tasted great. Service was excellent. We started with crudo and tartare, very nice. For my main dish i had Chitarrine di aldo 2.0, it was really good & wish it was a larger portion but i understand. We had a nice local red wine and for dessert a nice cannoli and gelato. Hopefully we will return...

07/02/2026: Pleasing everyone is no easy task, but Enoteca Guanella succeeded. Cristina recommended excellent champagne and two different magnums of Valtellinesi Grumello and Casa Rainoldi Sforzato, paired with seafood first courses and traditional mountain main courses, such as saddle of venison and tender, flavorful braised beef. The cheeses were a triumph; we loved the mandarin sorbet and lemon tartlet. The harmonious atmosphere of the setting, the good food, and the professionalism of the attentive staff transformed our dinner into an evening we will cherish in our memories. Congratulations to you all!

13/02/2026: Really loved. Amazing communication before and during the stay. Great location. Clean and fun hotel. Nice breakfast. Stayed during Olympics and enjoyed their role as a Swiss team hub, as well as the intimacy amid the chaos. Room spacious for Europe. Excellent shower, and the views are beautiful.

07/02/2026: Excellent hotel in Livigno with a truly fabulous location right in the centre, directly opposite the ski lifts — ideal for a ski weekend. Rooms are modern, well furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast is varied and particularly enjoyable, with plenty of choice including bio, healthy and local options. Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Overall, a great choice for a weekend in Livigno.

01/02/2026: Rather disappointed with the food. The pizza tasted lole a tostinos from the US and the pasta tasted as if it was from a can. Service was ok, not the best though. I would recommend eating somewhere else.

07/01/2026: I booked a table by phone for January 6, 2026, at 1:30 PM for three people. We arrived at 1:20 PM and were told there was no table available and no reservations, much to our disappointment and, above all, disappointment. The only option they offered was a table in the corner near the entrance, which was already occupied by a man reading the newspaper. Disappointedly, we had to switch to another restaurant at the last minute, thinking we'd come from Sondrio to try Crotto's cuisine. A bitter experience that, for me, ends here because there won't be a second visit.

30/12/2025: We had dinner for two, and the dishes were excellent, as was the local wine. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was romantic. I plan to return and highly recommend it.

27/12/2025: Everything was perfect, thanks to the delicious veal cheek. The chef prepared pasta off the menu for my daughter and reheated my son's puree to precisely 30 degrees! A warm welcome for the whole family!

19/02/2026: We chose this place for a special lunch with my mom at this restaurant and pizzeria... and what can I say... a truly wonderful experience! I chose a tagliata: delicious meat, tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. A generous, generous portion, accompanied by an equally generous and thoughtful side dish. A dish that not only fills you up, but truly satisfies. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the kitchen. My mom, on the other hand, had the taiadin... simply spectacular! Beautifully made, flavorful, authentic. Those dishes that make you say, "The food here is truly delicious." But I want to say a few more words about the service, because the difference was made by the blonde woman who looked after us. Such courtesy is truly rare in restaurants these days. Always smiling, attentive, professional, present without being intrusive. She explained the typical dishes to us with passion and precision, even telling us about the pesteda... and finally, thanks to her wonderful explanation, I really understood what it was all about! It's wonderful when the person serving you doesn't just bring the dishes, but takes you on a little journey through flavors and traditions. Many compliments indeed. The owner was friendly and welcoming, just like the owner who was in the dining room serving with the waitress: seeing the owners present, active, and smiling always makes a difference and conveys a love for their work. I can't give it six stars because they don't exist... but for the magical welcome alone, I'd give it all. Thank you so much for the special lunch you gave us. We'll definitely be back! ✨

04/11/2025: We were invited by our son and daughter-in-law. We ordered à la carte dishes, and both the blueberry fettuccine and pizzoccheri were well-presented, good quality, and plentiful. We also enjoyed both the tagliata and the roast beef on the business menu. The sciatt was also excellent. The use of their genuine homemade cheeses, produced by their countless cows grazing on the mountain pastures, certainly made the difference. We had a great time, perhaps also thanks to the kindness of the mother owner and her son David. The restaurant is beautifully renovated, spacious, with exposed woodwork and bright lighting; this time I was able to appreciate it in a different light.

25/02/2026: During the Olympics, we were welcomed by the Hotel Montanina. The rooms are very nice, all in wood, in keeping with the style of a charming mountain village like Livigno. Breakfast and the restaurant also offer a variety of excellent quality products; try their apple strudel. The staff's professional attitude towards guests is mediocre and could be improved. Depending on their origin or role, they were classified as either first-class or second-class. Despite this, it was an experience to remember. 🙂
