09/08/2025: Such an underrated spot in Milan! The food is absolutely delicious — especially the parmigiana. The restaurant has a contemporary style with Scandinavian and modern Italian touches 😍 The staff are friendly, and the prices are excellent for the quality. I’ll definitely be back!

08/08/2025: 60 euros for 2 with 2 spritzes, a pizza, a pasta dish and 2 tiramisu. Beautiful restaurant, beautiful terrace, friendly waiters, nice music... The place is full of charm, the dishes are decent (without being wow!) but a bit expensive for Palermo. Hence my 4 stars.

14/08/2025: The dishes are few, but all excellent. The hostess, who appears brusque, is actually a lovely and very friendly person. Her son, the restaurant's chef, is not only excellent, but also a delightful person. Go try it—it's worth it!

07/08/2025: We went to Balafon and can't help but leave a rave review! We ate divinely: every dish and drink was rich in authentic flavors and meticulously prepared. The place is beautiful, decorated in a truly traditional and welcoming style—a true journey to Africa without leaving the city. A huge thank you to the owner, who was incredibly kind and gracious: she made us feel at home and was able to convey her passion for her cuisine and Malian culture. And the dessert? Simply amazing! A perfect end to an unforgettable dinner. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, tasty, and warm experience. 🌍🍽️✨

26/08/2025: This is place is closed in August, yet it still shows open on Google map. Total waste of time to get here.

16/08/2025: The atmosphere is refined, though a bit too classic. Impeccable service, with all dishes served to each guest in turn. The scampi and porcini salad was superb, both for the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The same goes for the raw fish platter, truly superb. The spaghetti with clams and bottarga was delicious; it's a shame there were too many clams on the plate. The turbot in a cherry tomato sauce was exquisite. The tarte tatin was truly out of this world, prepared and served to perfection.

06/09/2025: We waited 40 minutes for our order. We waited another 15 minutes for the dessert from the children's menu, and the waiter came over twice to clarify the order. The portion was surprisingly small.

08/09/2025: The staff was extremely arrogant, they gave me something completely different from what i asked for and charged me 5€ more. When i asked for my money back i was treated very ironically and they didn’t give it back.

15/07/2025: Hidden gem! We were entertained with live swing music from 2 guys with a bass guitar and a violin and a woman with the voice of an angel. This place is different. When someone takes on a project with passion it turns out like this. Thank you, David. We felt like home and were glad to sit on your 120 year old sofa. We had an awesome time. Good luck in the future and hope to see you again.

30/06/2025: the kindness of Mr. Davide and his staff is unmatched. the food is delicious and the prices are balanced to the quality. the bistro is wonderful in every detail and we also attended a concert by Cosimo an the hot coals beautiful. highly recommended place

12/08/2025: Gigi welcomed us with open arms. He personally explained the entire menu, including a complimentary Italian lesson. Each dish was paired with a wine from his own region, tailored to our preferences. Artisanal cuisine with a personal touch. A real breath of fresh air in a commercial city like Milan.

07/08/2025: Great little restaurant with a witty owner who gave us many recommendations for wineries to visit. Good pasta dishes and tasty homemade tiramisu. Definitely worth a visit if you want a more local vibe and affordable lunch/dinner.
