A trattoria like no other: hearty, authentic, and genuine. The atmosphere is retro, simple (perhaps too much so), but it seems to evoke the "ugly but good" theme. The menu is one of those that promises well: a few dishes, well-made, and served with love. The Sauris prosciutto is divine: thinly sliced, slightly smoked, and delicious (there's no photo because we were fighting over it with our forks). The local salami is also delicious, but I would have doubled with the prosciutto. First courses are fantastic: full-bodied fresh pasta, slightly twisted to allow for a perfect seal with the sauce. I tried both the pasta with radicchio and the pasta alla disperata (a revisited version of the more famous arrabbiata), and the verdict is unanimous: it's a shame to order only one of the two...in fact, you'd want to try everything. Among the main courses, there's less choice; I tried the braised beef: tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with velvety mashed potatoes. The crème caramel capped off a great meal...surprising, jaw-dropping...because once it's gone, you're tempted to come back. Excellent value for money. The only drawback: the bread basket, because it's the straightforward, crumbly, light kind. In hindsight, however, you appreciate it...it doesn't significantly impact the calorie count. Don't let the decor fool you...this is a rare place of deliciousness. Your only thought upon leaving will be, "When will I be back?"

A real discovery!! A small restaurant tucked away on a side street not far from the city center, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home! Spectacular food expertly prepared by chef Ambra, generous portions with fresh, quality ingredients. The manager, Ivano, is the perfect host, attentive to detail and very quickly moving between tables! Unbeatable prices; I challenge you to find anything cheaper in Milan these days. Highly recommended, an experience worth repeating.

While in Milan and looking for a good trattoria near where I was staying (the city center), I found quite a bit of positive feedback for this osteria. I was already convinced I'd find a somewhat spartan place, which, in the end, I actually liked because it could be typical of times gone by, even though that area of ​​Milan is now teeming with modernity. But the personal problem was finding food that wasn't particularly good. Generous portions, but tasteless. The bill was quite fair. And the staff were typically Milanese, aloof and cold. A bit of a shock for a Sicilian accustomed to social interaction, but whatever, we're in the far reaches of Italy.

Fairly priced authentic italian food. The place was crowded and the waiter - which I suppose is also the owner - was managing everything by himself, so it was a bit messy and it took a while, but in the end it was worth it! Definitely recommend.
