14/11/2025: Tiny and poorly stocked bar, no fruit juices, almost all the brioches are finished and to conclude for the first time since I've lived in Como a bar that charges for table service (6 tables) with us being the only customers 1 coffee, barley and a brioche €6.10......I was complaining about the prices in Parma but here in Como they know how to do even better
26/09/2025: It's a scam! We were charged 16 euros for w cappuccinos and a cookie. Not worth the price at all better caffes at the area.

14/03/2026: The prices are too high for the service offered. The bathroom wasn't cleaned, with pieces of toilet paper on the floor, etc. It's a shame it's located in the center and there are so many tourists who fall for it.
08/03/2026: Poor customer service: we ordered a Coke and a beer for an aperitif, but it took at least 40 minutes after we sat down for the drinks to arrive, considering they took 15 minutes to take our orders (all the other tables had already been served). The platter was sparse and the quality was very poor.

01/12/2025: We went for lunch with the business menu. The location is close to the Bizzarone customs office, with plenty of parking nearby. The place is pleasant, quiet, and tidy. The customer service was always prompt and courteous. The food was good, but the portions were very small. A mixed fried fish cost €9, and included seven squid rings. I definitely won't be returning.

21/03/2026: Even one star is too much for the outrageous way the server behaved. We arrived with six people and pulled two tables together outside. Then the waitress, blonde hair, came and forcefully pulled the tables apart. She practically yelled at me. I explained that there were six of us and we needed the seats. She replied that it was impossible. Why is it impossible to put the tables together if we have enough guests? We naturally got up and left. An outrageous and disrespectful manner that I will not tolerate. The server was completely out of line. I can't comment on the food; the ambiance was actually good, but the service deserves a 100.
20/03/2026: Rude waitress. And we have to wait forever.

19/08/2025: The pizza was okay. The wheat beer was great, though very expensive. The service was pleasant. The only downside was that after eating, I discovered a sign on the register saying: "No credit cards." However, I didn't have enough cash on me, and when I mentioned I needed to get cash from the parking lot to my car, the lady suggested paying by card...

26/12/2025: I went for lunch with 5 people.
It was empty.
The owner told us every 10 minutes that the kitchen was closing.
We ordered sushi, but it hadn't arrived because the kitchen closed at 2:15 PM. 0 stars.
The food was too salty to keep you from eating much.

23/11/2025: I stayed in room 106 for two nights. The hotel was excellent and clean, the room was clean, and the staff, Mahmoud (Egyptian) and Suzi (Tunisian), were friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. It's conveniently located near the city center, overlooks the lake, and is next to the metro and bus stations, and opposite a Carrefour supermarket.
09/11/2025: It is hard to believe that a gorgonzola hotel exist in Italy and this one is vecchio borgo.
I stayed in 102 room and the smell of mold was terrible. I slept with the window open widly, even outside were 10 degree.
Terrible hotel, should be closed because is insanely dangerous to health.
Never again there.

12/12/2025: Am I the only one who eats cold sandwiches here (so much so that the cheese hasn't even melted) or sandwiches made with your feet? This is the third time I've tried since they changed management. In 30 years of eating at Mc's, I can say this is one of the worst I've ever had. Terrible.

31/10/2025: Great place for bikers to stop for ice cream, coffee, or sandwiches. I'm giving it 4 stars because €2 for a coffee outside is too much.
23/10/2025: The lady at the cash register is truly rude!
Coke in a can costs €4. We asked for two plastic cups, she gave us one, and for the second she said no because "she has to save them for the others."
Just look at the responses to the many negative reviews... and she'll respond to this one too... but it's clear she has nothing better to do... and that says a lot about the place.

CATASTROPHE !!
- les serveurs ne voient rien, j’ai dû appeler à plusieurs reprises pour qu’on vienne prendre ma commande.
- les pâtes étaient basiques mais pas de fromage ou un morceau de pain pour accompagner les plats.
- les spritz étaient à moitié remplis et à mon avis coupés de moitié à l’eau
L’attrape touriste dans sa splendeur, dommage car le cadre est super
03/08/2025: Due pizze surgelate …. Un panino da 7 euro scongelato con due 1 fette di crudo e 1 di formaggio . Da italiano direi scandaloso far pagare 7euro un panino con dentro niente . Va bene che entrano i turisti stranieri e da italiani dobbiamo approfittarci !! A quei prezzi si può fare cibo di qualità e anche gli stranieri sarebbero più contenti di tornarci

28/10/2025: So I think this is my first 2 star review ever…. We stopped here on the way back of the Greenaway de Lago walk (amazing!) as per the other reviews the lady was very friendly but charged 8EUROS for an ice cream, no prices anywhere and didn’t ask for the size etc, we had 2 affragatos at 7 euros each so 30 in total. Although I don’t mind spending, the whole thing felt very ‘scammy’ and underhand. I would AVOID…. (Icecream was ok, but not the best)
11/10/2025: We stopped for coffee and a treat here. The croissants looked good and the owner advised us that she makes them herself for we bought one chocolate and one plain. Both the coffees and croissants were great and priced reasonably.

07/12/2025: I've never encountered a more unwelcoming and rude person than the lady who works at this establishment. I hate to pass this judgment on the entire establishment even though we didn't order anything, but quite simply, we dared to approach two tables in the outdoor area (there were six of us with a stroller) and, after being ignored, when we asked to order, she rudely told us it wasn't possible, even though we'd saved them the trouble. It's incredible how some people work with the public.

06/12/2025: The food and waiter service were terrible. Going to the bathroom was a rip-off, and on top of that, they lied about the prices to squeeze a few extra euros. A tourist scam.
