In winter, a warm and welcoming place for an aperitif with friends.

Nela has always been the go-to place in Uggiate. Excellent aperitifs and delicious breakfasts. I've been going there for 40 years and it's always a pleasure! Well done!

Today I found myself in Uggiate by chance, incredibly hungry. I happened to walk into this bar, Bar Nela, and was greeted by a super cute and super busy girl. The bar is truly charming and unique, a must-see. I asked if they had any vegan food, and this girl, named Martina, rattled off a five-star menu, including pasta with vegan ragù and soy meatballs. I opted for a sandwich whose fillings were entirely Martina's own creation. I received a jumbo sandwich filled with a ton of delicious things, nice and warm and tasty...thanks also to the chef for his creation! But my thanks especially go to this girl who, with her smile, so much imagination, so much professionalism and expertise, managed to make me happy with a fantastic vegan lunch!
