15/06/2025: We were recommended this restaurant and we must say that the experience is truly positive. Kabir, the owner, is always available and ready to satisfy every request. Varied cuisine based on meat, fish and also exquisite is the pizza; all cooked excellently by the chef. Always kind also the girls who serve. We return every day and recommend it.

11/06/2025: The food was very good! The host is very nice, accommodating, and always very attentive! He always made sure that all guests were taken care of! We were out on our bikes. As we were leaving, he gave us two bottles of water! It's a small gesture, but it's very important. None of the other four hosts did that! Thank you!

I will definitely return, the view of the lake is wonderful. Small but welcoming location and everything clean and well-kept. I don't have photos of the tapas and appetizers but also those delicious and of quality. The exquisite patatas bravas. I will definitely return. Thank you.

10/06/2025: I definitely won't be back, they weren't very polite, even though I pointed out that other customers who arrived much later than us had already been served, they wanted to be cruel by saying that orders were served in the order they arrived.

The kindness and preparation of the owner Simone accompanied us throughout the evening, his love for sushi and passion for his work we felt from the first to the last dish. The staff is courteous, never intrusive and always attentive to any request. And last but not least, the quality of the fish and sushi was the icing on the cake of this fantastic dinner. We will come back to visit you, without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you!

Amazing food and very friendly waiters, thanks for the experience 😍 Unfortunately we visited this place for the last evening of our stay near Garda. Otherwise we would definitely have came back to try more food on the menu!

16/06/2025: We were back after two years. The view is incomparable. Service was attentive and, despite the small number of guests, a bit overwhelmed by the friendly German customers, but everything was still within reason. The menu is old-school, which is fine for us as tourists. I don't know the needs of the locals, but I didn't see a hint of a daily special. It may have been a slip-up, but my side potatoes were... (no words). Everything else tasted very good, but the love was a little lacking. Since I sent the potatoes back, they weren't on the bill. When I paid, I asked the chef why that was and if he had tried them. He said yes and apologized briefly, but that was it. There were few locals that evening, even though the restaurant is only open Thursday and Sunday evenings, and it was a beautiful day. Why that was, no one knows.

31/05/2025: Like every time, when I return to "Doss" I feel at home. High quality local products, the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone, the dishes prepared with skill and passion will always make me come back here. Forgive me if I don't have photos but when a dish arrives I can't wait to eat. You must try the spaghetti alla chitarra with lake ragù and the beef in oil (it melts in your mouth)!!! And then, what a view!!!

21/06/2025: Great for years! For years, we've been visiting Ristorante Modi with the whole family (three generations!) every time we're in Sirmione. Not only does the food actually keep getting better, even if you'd hardly think that possible, but the staff is also the friendliest in all of Italy. Highly recommended! Plus, the location on the central piazza is a dream, and the proximity to the lake always brings a refreshing breeze.

Pro: - Outstanding food; we ate a wakame salad, mixed Tempura, the large sushi and sashimi platter for two, and green tea and rice gelato for dessert. The fish was excellent and the serving for two was incredibly generous - no fillers or vegetable rolls - fresh scallop, sweet prawns, roe, mackerel, fluke, octopus, in addition to fatty tuna and salmon. We were very impressed with the high quality and value for €55 (total for 18 pieces each). - Exceptional service and hospitality: friendly, professional, prompt, attentive, and accurate. - Superb Atmosphere: trendy décor, exceedingly clean, a great space to enjoy a meal of this quality. Con: none

20/04/2025: In occasione della Pasqua siamo andati in questo ristorante per pranzo. Il personale è molto gentile ed il pesce cucinato è molto fresco. Sicuramente ci torneremo anche per provare le loro pizze.
