07/06/2026: This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, its potential wasted by the owner's "cool and aloof" demeanor! Before coming, I read many reviews, and many mentioned the owner's attitude was a bit harsh, which made me a little apprehensive. But I figured the most important thing about a restaurant is the food, and everyone has a different personality and way of expressing themselves, so we decided to give it a try anyway. The result? A wonderful surprise! Our group of five ordered two appetizers, two main courses, and four main dishes. Every dish was generously portioned, authentically seasoned, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients. Most remarkably, everyone finished every last bite; not a single dish was disappointing. It was clear the kitchen had put a lot of effort into the ingredients and the presentation; it was a very local and heartfelt meal. As for the owner, who was the subject of much discussion, she did have a rather serious expression throughout and spoke quite directly, not the particularly warm and outgoing type. However, on a side note, her outfit that day was exceptionally beautiful, with exquisite details and a sparkly finish, making her stand out as she bustled around the restaurant. I wanted to compliment her several times, but seeing her consistently serious expression, I ultimately held back. Actually, during my time there, I didn't encounter any unpleasant situations. On the contrary, I could tell she was genuinely dedicated to running the restaurant; it's just that her way of expressing herself is a bit different from the service style many people are used to. If she could occasionally smile a little more, I believe it would greatly enhance the customer experience. It's worth mentioning that the male servers and the chubby chef were exceptionally warm and friendly, providing attentive service throughout, making the entire dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. If, like us, you prioritize the food itself rather than overly enthusiastic service, then this restaurant is definitely worth a try. Don't be deterred by the "aloof" reputation, because the food here is absolutely worth a special trip.

21/05/2026: Good restaurant with average prices. Very friendly staff. We had the guanciale in both versions (Siena-style and with mushrooms), both excellent and expertly cooked.

05/06/2026: You try to communicate with them and politely ask for what you want, but they're not interested. I won't be back.

12/05/2026: Delightful place with amazing staff! The service was very friendly and welcoming to tourists, which was very much appreciated. We enjoyed our huge 1 L beer with chips! Good seating area to watch the crowds go by :-)

04/10/2025: I stopped at this bar just before 6. There were 5 of us. We asked for appetizers for everyone. Only one person got one, and only after they hadn't brought us anything and we pointed it out. After half an hour, we got up, without any appetizers.

26/04/2026: My husband and I always go for lunch, but on Saturday, April 24, we went for dinner with friends. All the fish is always excellent—starters, first courses, second courses, and desserts. Our friends were delighted. The waiters and owner were excellent.

19/04/2026: Self-service service, order at the cash register and when it's ready they call you, collect it, sit down and eat your meal, you'll find it already set, placemat, glasses, cutlery, glasses, all disposable, very good pizza, I opt for double dough 2 flavors, hamburgers and more, wait a bit long, I recommend.

01/01/2026: We were there for New Year's Eve 2025 dinner. The old building is well-maintained and has its own charm. The owner and chef personally served us, explaining the dishes created with locally sourced ingredients. The lady was friendly and kind. We had a great time and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

22/03/2026: The large parking lot certainly makes it a great choice, especially on weekends. Inside, the large spaces allow for sufficient distance between tables, which is highly appreciated. Otherwise, the pizza is good, but the unique cuisine is also lacking. The desserts, practically all of which are packaged, are a letdown.

27/10/2025: It's a mountain place where you feel like you're a kid again, eating with your grandparents. The restaurant is typical of the 1960s (more or less), and the good, traditional cuisine reigns supreme. If you like this type of restaurant, it's a must-see. We had a great time, and it's excellent value for money.

13/10/2025: Typical Valtrompia cuisine made with care at reasonable prices. The girl who served us was very kind and explained how they make their own cured meats. We will return.

28/03/2026: I'm happy to eat at this restaurant. The food is good, well-prepared, and the staff is kind and attentive. I only have one complaint: I've often come across chipped or damaged plates, and that shouldn't happen in a restaurant. I understand that dishwashing can cause problems, but a chipped plate should be thrown away and never brought to the customer's attention!

09/03/2026: Ci siamo stati con la mia famiglia oggi a pranzo per la prima volta.. Devo dire che abbiamo mangiato davvero bene! Tutto molto buono abbondante e soprattutto fresco, locale carino bagni puliti e personale gentile, ci ritorneremo sicuramente.. Ah fritto squisito
