The carpet is everywhere, soft underfoot.
The key card to open the room door is left on the wall inside the room, with a small blue light that stays on all night.
There was no hot chocolate for breakfast.

Grand hotels with retro charm. Breakfast is always the same and simple, not worth the money. Paper cups instead of glasses and mugs in the room.

05/10/2025: What a beautiful place! I’ve never seen such a charming flower shop before. There is a bistro in the same building. Lovely coffee, pastries and cakes, outstanding deco topped with smiley and friendly staff. We ended up going there few times a day. No doubt our favorite place for a coffee stop.
29/09/2025: A truly breathtaking venue: a renovated former train station, nestled between Lake Iseo and the Franciacorta vineyards. An elegant concept encompassing a flower boutique, a confectionery shop, a café-bar, and a bistro. The postcard-perfect atmosphere is perfect for an aperitif, brunch, or simply a relaxing break in a special place.
It's a bit pricey compared to a regular café, and the selection of snacks isn't extensive, but the ambiance, atmosphere, and service make for an absolutely delightful experience.

02/06/2025: We had grilled chicken breasts with a side of mixed raw vegetables, French fries, and warm oregano focaccia. We also had breaded and fried chicken thighs with French fries, cabbage, and carrots, topped with a mayonnaise that had something I don't know what added, but it was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious, tasty, and well-cooked. I'm a chef, so I'd give it a solid 9/10, and the price was excellent and affordable.

11/10/2025: What can I say? The casoncelli at Barbariga are always exceptional. A classic trattoria in the lower Brescia area where eating is an insane pleasure. We had appetizers, two pairs of casoncelli, including the pumpkin ones, which were truly magnificent. Finally, the beef in olive oil was delicious. Excellent selection of wines and spirits, too.
Definitely worth returning.
