06/11/2025: A bit disappointed compared to the reviews I'd read and heard. The farinata was decent, but the gorgonzola on top definitely needs to be sweeter and melt better, and the cured meats should be sliced ​​thinner. The mixed antipasto was a no-no (you can't even put a tiny slice of brie... at least a small piece of seasoned cheese). Even the highly praised desserts didn't wow me. What can I say about the place... a few seats could be changed. Polite staff.

You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The stuffed zucchini flowers appetizer and the black garlic spaghetti with scampi are highly recommended. We had a truly wonderful lunch. Bill: 🍷🍷🍷🍷 /5 €45 per person for a (large) appetizer, two first courses, water, a glass of wine, and two coffees. The price isn't cheap, but it's in keeping with the area: we're still in beautiful Sirmione, where prices are generally higher. Would I go back? Of course, go ahead! Bonus: dog-friendly venue

08/11/2025: First time here, welcoming atmosphere, and perfect service. I tried the pizza as it was made until a few years ago (without the rubber-tire crust), and it was very good. I saw the first and second courses pass by, and they looked truly inviting. I'll definitely be back to try them.

16/11/2025: I'd been wanting to eat at this tavern for a couple of years. I'm a good eater and a decent cook. As I passed this tavern in the center of Desenzano, I always smelled the inviting aroma of good food, and finally, on November 10th, I managed to go for lunch. There were three of us, and I chose the place to have lunch. Those with me trusted my instincts, and I wasn't wrong. I was greeted with a warm welcome. A beautiful young woman with long black hair and Asian features greeted me with a smile and sat me down even though I hadn't booked. While waiting for the other diners to arrive, I perused the menu and found many tempting options. In the end, when the others arrived, we chose the wrong carbonara; I chose the garlic pasta, while the other person chose the shin. Everything was truly as I'd always imagined, excellent quality. The dishes were simple, but simplicity always pays off, especially when they're of excellent quality and well-prepared. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and warm, and the place is well-attended. I sincerely recommend it and will return, hoping to find the same warm welcome, culinary offerings, and quality at a good value that is so often lacking elsewhere, especially in Desenzano. I wanted to write this review, as I told the owner, because those who deserve it deserve it.

16/11/2025: A traditional inn in Desenzano's historic center. Quality food made with local ingredients. Truly friendly staff and fast service. Great prices for the quality of the food. The only drawback is that the atmosphere is a bit noisy.

01/12/2025: Fantastic culinary journey 🤩 As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm smile (I often emphasize hospitality), and were escorted upstairs—what a lovely surprise 😃 Exposed wooden beams on the ceiling, a rectangular mirror on the wall creating greater depth to the room, and thoughtfully designed furnishings with great style creating a warm atmosphere. As soon as we were seated, we were welcomed with high-quality mortadella and soft bread. Let's move on to the menu, not overly extensive but concise and refined. A wonderful selection of wines, for all budgets (bottle or glass) 😃 We started with two appetizers "designed for sharing": fried polenta and Parmesan meatballs "a delight." Let's move on to the main courses: 1 beef cheek in red wine and 1 seared belly with salsa verde "a delight." Let's move on to desserts 😃 We ordered tiramisu, and off-menu, they offered us the classic panettone "with candied fruit," and with Chantilly cream "a delight." They added that the panettone's strong point was the perfectly executed dough. Many thanks 🤗 to Camilla and Elisa, who were excellent, from the welcome to the explanation of the dishes and wines... 05/10/2025: Spaghetti alla chitarra, which are actually tagliatelle. I pointed out that they were very hard, and I was told that's normal. OK. I also pointed out that they were unsalted and seemed tasteless, and I was told that's to make them more delicate. OK. Next to us in another room, 20 teenagers were celebrating a birthday, shouting along to the music and smoking inside. Probably an unfortunate evening. The worst thing is the menu with no price for the ladies, which in 2025 seems absurd to me.

30/09/2025: A great place for breakfast and aperitifs. They have a wide selection of sweet and savory items, and they also sell bread, pizza, focaccia, and more. The girls are all very friendly.

01/10/2025: Used to go here regularly when we lived in the area. A wonderful little gem of a place with great gelatos. So easy to miss if you are driving through - take the time, stop and walk down to where this is - it's opposite the church which is also worth a visit. We used to park down by the hospital and walk up.
