18/11/2025: The best pasta dish I’ve had in a very long time! Tortelloni filled with lemon ricotta and served with some crazy delicious prawn sugo which I can’t even start to explain 🤩 other than you have to try it 🤤 I don’t normally eat the bread roll but just had to do a “scarpetta”; just this time!! I came for lunch between school classes and will be back for their typical Brescian dishes for sure!

16/11/2025: We had dinner with friends. The appetizer was plentiful, but aside from the cold cuts, the pickled vegetables and Russian salad were nothing special, while the battered vegetables were really soaked in frying oil. Being vegan, I didn't try the fish, but my companions said it was good, although, according to a common opinion, it lost its flavor when served so cold. The polenta was very good, served plain and not thick enough, but that's a matter of personal preference. The zucchini tasted like nothing! I didn't like the wine. However, we paid a very fair price for what we ate.

The food is excellent both at lunch, with the business menu, and with the à la carte menu in the evening, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes that never disappoint. But what really makes the difference is the staff: always kind, smiling, and with a friendliness that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are really fair, which makes you appreciate the experience even more. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, because here you feel good in every way.”

13/11/2025: *Delicious pizza 😍, thin crust just the way I like it… fresh ingredients… tasty yet light pizza… *Friendly staff both on the phone and with deliveries… *Punctual delivery times… P.S.: Having trays/glasses/something to deliver the arugula in separately would be great, since the heat turns arugula on pizza into something inedible ☹️😓, nauseating… I've been ordering exclusively from them for 2 years now 😍👏🔝!

A place I recommend without hesitation and will gladly return. Don't miss the salted caramel dessert with popcorn and white chocolate, a true delight that concludes the meal in a surprising way.

Service: 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 /5 Polite, attentive, and professional staff. Menu: 🍷🍷🍷🍷 /5 The dishes are carefully crafted and carefully prepared. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The stuffed zucchini flowers appetizer and the black garlic spaghetti with scampi are highly recommended. We had a truly wonderful lunch. Bill: 🍷🍷🍷🍷 /5 €45 per person for a (large) appetizer, two first courses, water, a glass of wine, and two coffees. The price isn't cheap, but it's in keeping with the area: we're still in beautiful Sirmione, where prices are generally higher. Would I go back? Of course, go ahead! Bonus: dog-friendly venue

21/10/2025: I enjoyed the experience and didn't take any photos. I'm writing this after having visited the restaurant several times with my family. I love the intimate yet informal atmosphere, the professional yet not aloof attitude, the refined yet uncomplicated dishes, I love novelty but not surprises, I love originality but not excess... I'm aware that I won't provide detailed information; I'll just say that I had a great time and that I'll be back.

11/05/2025: La Ganea nel Bosco Incantato C’era una volta, nel cuore di un grande bosco tranquillo chiamato Parco dell’Oglio, un palazzo antico che tutti chiamavano il Castello Martinengo. Dentro quel castello viveva una fata gentile di nome Ganea, che amava cucinare piatti magici con gli ingredienti più freschi del regno. Ogni giorno, la fata Ganea raccoglieva erbe profumate e chicchi dorati di riso dal suo giardino incantato. Con un tocco di bacchetta e tanto amore, preparava risotti cremosi al taleggio, ravioli danzanti chiamati "casoncelli", e un piatto speciale con carne di manzo parlante e burrata che rideva quando la si tagliava! Insieme a lei lavoravano gli elfi del pane e della pasta, che impastavano e cuocevano con allegria, e un folletto sommelier che conosceva ogni segreto dell’uva. Il castello aveva stanze luminose con pareti che raccontavano storie, e un giardino dove farfalle e uccellini accompagnavano i pasti con dolci canzoni. I viaggiatori che arrivavano da villaggi vicini restavano incantati da tanta bellezza e bontà, e dicevano: “Questo è un posto davvero speciale!” La fata Ganea apriva le porte della sua cucina magica solo dal mercoledì alla domenica, perché il lunedì e il martedì riposava e sognava nuove ricette. E così, tra profumi deliziosi e sorrisi sinceri, il Bistrot della Ganea divenne il luogo più amato di tutto il regno. E vissero tutti felici… e ben sazi!

01/10/2025: Used to go here regularly when we lived in the area. A wonderful little gem of a place with great gelatos. So easy to miss if you are driving through - take the time, stop and walk down to where this is - it's opposite the church which is also worth a visit. We used to park down by the hospital and walk up.

01/10/2025: We stopped for lunch and opted for the fixed-price menu with a burger, a side of fries, water, and coffee. The sandwich was truly delicious—you could clearly taste the quality of the meat—and it came with a generous portion of fries. We were truly full! Excellent value. A positive note for the staff: we were with our baby, just a few months old, and they had us sit in a convenient spot for the stroller. They also showered him with smiles and attention (which are absolutely unnecessary, but it's nice when a child isn't considered a serial nuisance). I truly appreciate their kindness and sweetness.

30/08/2025: A splendid, modern-style venue, located in the central square overlooking the lake. So, you won't be able to resist the temptations; excellent food to delight the palate. Need I say it? Highly recommended.

30/09/2025: A great place for breakfast and aperitifs. They have a wide selection of sweet and savory items, and they also sell bread, pizza, focaccia, and more. The girls are all very friendly.

27/08/2025: Surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from the frozen waterfalls (in winter, of course), we were greeted by Simona and her smiling and friendly staff. The quality of the dishes was excellent (abundant and flavorful) at a great price. Their fig and Nebiolo ice cream is a MUST-try; a feast for the taste buds. Special mention goes to Simona, who patiently accommodated us (there were 32 of us). Special guest Noa, Simona's nephew, entertained us at the end of the meal by dancing "The Crocodile, How Does It?" surrounded by our daughters.

25/08/2025: The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, since we didn't have a reservation, they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and desserts were good, and the portions were sufficient to leave feeling energized for another trek.

16/10/2025: A warm and welcoming historic osteria in Rezzato. The food is always excellent, with minimal frills and plenty of substance. The meat is especially noteworthy: fillet, tagliata, and Florentine steak are top-notch! It's best to book, as the place is almost always sold out.

01/10/2025: Beautifully decorated. Very understated and cozy. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Very friendly staff. The aperitif was a surprise, with fresh olives and chips. The food is excellent. I ordered horse. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fried potatoes were cooked with the skin on, perfect. A real experience. The value for money is excellent. I will definitely stop by this exceptional place again.
