21/10/2025: I enjoyed the experience and didn't take any photos. I'm writing this after having visited the restaurant several times with my family. I love the intimate yet informal atmosphere, the professional yet not aloof attitude, the refined yet uncomplicated dishes, I love novelty but not surprises, I love originality but not excess... I'm aware that I won't provide detailed information; I'll just say that I had a great time and that I'll be back.

11/05/2025: La Ganea nel Bosco Incantato C’era una volta, nel cuore di un grande bosco tranquillo chiamato Parco dell’Oglio, un palazzo antico che tutti chiamavano il Castello Martinengo. Dentro quel castello viveva una fata gentile di nome Ganea, che amava cucinare piatti magici con gli ingredienti più freschi del regno. Ogni giorno, la fata Ganea raccoglieva erbe profumate e chicchi dorati di riso dal suo giardino incantato. Con un tocco di bacchetta e tanto amore, preparava risotti cremosi al taleggio, ravioli danzanti chiamati "casoncelli", e un piatto speciale con carne di manzo parlante e burrata che rideva quando la si tagliava! Insieme a lei lavoravano gli elfi del pane e della pasta, che impastavano e cuocevano con allegria, e un folletto sommelier che conosceva ogni segreto dell’uva. Il castello aveva stanze luminose con pareti che raccontavano storie, e un giardino dove farfalle e uccellini accompagnavano i pasti con dolci canzoni. I viaggiatori che arrivavano da villaggi vicini restavano incantati da tanta bellezza e bontà, e dicevano: “Questo è un posto davvero speciale!” La fata Ganea apriva le porte della sua cucina magica solo dal mercoledì alla domenica, perché il lunedì e il martedì riposava e sognava nuove ricette. E così, tra profumi deliziosi e sorrisi sinceri, il Bistrot della Ganea divenne il luogo più amato di tutto il regno. E vissero tutti felici… e ben sazi!

30/08/2025: A splendid, modern-style venue, located in the central square overlooking the lake. So, you won't be able to resist the temptations; excellent food to delight the palate. Need I say it? Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: Used to go here regularly when we lived in the area. A wonderful little gem of a place with great gelatos. So easy to miss if you are driving through - take the time, stop and walk down to where this is - it's opposite the church which is also worth a visit. We used to park down by the hospital and walk up.

01/10/2025: We stopped for lunch and opted for the fixed-price menu with a burger, a side of fries, water, and coffee. The sandwich was truly delicious—you could clearly taste the quality of the meat—and it came with a generous portion of fries. We were truly full! Excellent value. A positive note for the staff: we were with our baby, just a few months old, and they had us sit in a convenient spot for the stroller. They also showered him with smiles and attention (which are absolutely unnecessary, but it's nice when a child isn't considered a serial nuisance). I truly appreciate their kindness and sweetness.

13/10/2025: Ample parking, a bar and pastry shop with homemade products—not bad. Convenient if you need to get your blood tests done. Wide selection of miniature pastries.

25/10/2025: When my friend and I were staying in Desenzano in June, Al Fattore quickly became our go-to for dinner. It stood out amoungst the other more generic and tourist-trappy restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly, efficient and flexible, which coupled with delicious and very well priced food and drinks (the €5 Aperol was the favourite) made for a great experience. They were very accomodating even when busy and never rushed us for a clear table, we stayed until closing a few times. Enjoyed ourselves very much, and we hope to be back! Thankyou!

24/10/2025: The food is delicious and fresh, the service is impeccable, and the prices are completely reasonable. I'd happily come back! German is also spoken here.

27/08/2025: Surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from the frozen waterfalls (in winter, of course), we were greeted by Simona and her smiling and friendly staff. The quality of the dishes was excellent (abundant and flavorful) at a great price. Their fig and Nebiolo ice cream is a MUST-try; a feast for the taste buds. Special mention goes to Simona, who patiently accommodated us (there were 32 of us). Special guest Noa, Simona's nephew, entertained us at the end of the meal by dancing "The Crocodile, How Does It?" surrounded by our daughters.

25/08/2025: The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, since we didn't have a reservation, they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and desserts were good, and the portions were sufficient to leave feeling energized for another trek.

17/08/2025: Rifugio Alpini Serle: excellent food and a welcoming, homey atmosphere, all immersed in pristine nature. We stayed for Ferragosto (August 15th) and everything went perfectly, from the organization to the service. A wonderful experience that I definitely recommend!

16/11/2025: A traditional inn in Desenzano's historic center. Quality food made with local ingredients. Truly friendly staff and fast service. Great prices for the quality of the food. The only drawback is that the atmosphere is a bit noisy.

16/11/2025: I'd been wanting to eat at this tavern for a couple of years. I'm a good eater and a decent cook. As I passed this tavern in the center of Desenzano, I always smelled the inviting aroma of good food, and finally, on November 10th, I managed to go for lunch. There were three of us, and I chose the place to have lunch. Those with me trusted my instincts, and I wasn't wrong. I was greeted with a warm welcome. A beautiful young woman with long black hair and Asian features greeted me with a smile and sat me down even though I hadn't booked. While waiting for the other diners to arrive, I perused the menu and found many tempting options. In the end, when the others arrived, we chose the wrong carbonara; I chose the garlic pasta, while the other person chose the shin. Everything was truly as I'd always imagined, excellent quality. The dishes were simple, but simplicity always pays off, especially when they're of excellent quality and well-prepared. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and warm, and the place is well-attended. I sincerely recommend it and will return, hoping to find the same warm welcome, culinary offerings, and quality at a good value that is so often lacking elsewhere, especially in Desenzano. I wanted to write this review, as I told the owner, because those who deserve it deserve it.

01/10/2025: Very good pizza. I tried the Puffetta, sausage and baked potatoes, plus prosciutto crudo, whole wheat dough and lactose-free mozzarella. The dough was very good, and the toppings were high-quality and plentiful. The only downside was the somewhat long wait; we called shortly after 6:00, but we didn't get the pizza until 8:30. But it's a wait that's well worth it.

21/08/2025: There's not much to say about the atmosphere and experience, other than that it's a kind of snack bar that only serves pizzas, but the selection is HUGE! There's a more than complete alphabet of pizza names to choose from, and if you don't like a topping on a chosen pizza, you can replace it with another. The pizzas we had were delicious, fresh, with tasty toppings and a nice, flavorful thin crust. The pizzas are certainly not expensive, as are the cold drinks: the price-quality-quantity ratio is excellent! Very friendly staff, a skilled pizza maker with fast service. You can park your car for free on the street or in a larger parking lot nearby with a parking disc. Inside, there are a few tables to sit at, but there's also a small patio with several tables and umbrellas. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms for customers, so please keep that in mind.
