I've never eaten a Florentine steak this good, not even in Tuscany.
Congratulations to Anna and Riccardo...fantastic 🫶...and the bitters??? Okay. ...I'll have my license revoked.
09/11/2025: Amazing place! The steak was really good! I had problem with my reservation but the staff made an exception and got me a table anyway. I’m really thankful! Will visit again for sure!

25/11/2025: A really beautiful and high-quality place, the waiter who served our table named Carlo had a very high work ethic, was pleasant and smiling, his recommendations were excellent.
He closed our vacation with a smile.
I recommend it, but be aware that the place is not cheap.
21/11/2025: We enjoyed this place a lot, great food and quick service.
A little to quick, I might have ordered an aperetif to the dessert if the waiter hadn't been so quick. :)
This is a place that rises above many of the other restaurants around there.

25/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance a few nights ago:
Welcoming place and staff, exceptional fish starters (the quality of the ingredients is evident), and a mixed fried fish dish that was finally done properly.
I'll return to Brescia just for this.

Excellent value for money, fresh products, and friendly, fast service.
They also do a delicious business lunch!
14/11/2025: Family dinner with options for everyone: meat, fish, and pizza.
Everything was excellent and well-prepared, the pizza was truly well-made, from the dough to the toppings.
Friendly and attentive staff. Overall, a highly recommended place.

05/10/2025: Spaghetti alla chitarra, which are actually tagliatelle.
I pointed out that they were very hard, and I was told that's normal. OK. I also pointed out that they were unsalted and seemed tasteless, and I was told that's to make them more delicate. OK.
Next to us in another room, 20 teenagers were celebrating a birthday, shouting along to the music and smoking inside.
Probably an unfortunate evening.
The worst thing is the menu with no price for the ladies, which in 2025 seems absurd to me.

03/11/2025: A true trattoria. As a trattoria should be. The ingredients are explained on the menu with their provenance. The service is attentive and friendly. The slightly old-fashioned location adds to its charm. A must-try dish: the tripe!

I'll tell you more, I fully agree with the strict policy against waste.. rich buffet during the week but make sure your plate is empty.. very good pizza and Neapolitan pizza 2 evenings a week.. well done, well done, well done.. I underline the ever-present smile among the guys in the dining room.. good discovery to everyone

18/11/2025: The best pasta dish I’ve had in a very long time! Tortelloni filled with lemon ricotta and served with some crazy delicious prawn sugo which I can’t even start to explain 🤩 other than you have to try it 🤤 I don’t normally eat the bread roll but just had to do a “scarpetta”; just this time!!
I came for lunch between school classes and will be back for their typical Brescian dishes for sure!
16/11/2025: We had dinner with friends. The appetizer was plentiful, but aside from the cold cuts, the pickled vegetables and Russian salad were nothing special, while the battered vegetables were really soaked in frying oil. Being vegan, I didn't try the fish, but my companions said it was good, although, according to a common opinion, it lost its flavor when served so cold. The polenta was very good, served plain and not thick enough, but that's a matter of personal preference. The zucchini tasted like nothing! I didn't like the wine. However, we paid a very fair price for what we ate.
