28/07/2025: The pure Sicilian cuisine pleasantly surprised us. Delicious, honest dishes. Super friendly service.

21/07/2025: We went to A Lumia in Brescia for the first time. I'd been wanting to try it for a while, but for one reason or another, I'd never gotten around to it. Today we finally went. We were curious to try the panelle, but unfortunately they weren't available, nor were any other items on the menu. We opted for a caponata, which turned out to be very good, and three arancini. Unfortunately, the rice was completely overcooked; the grain had turned into a sort of cream. The cheese inside was hard and wouldn't melt. The breading also left a bit to be desired. We mentioned this to the owner; initially, she seemed a bit annoyed, but her son appreciated our mentioning it and recognized the value of constructive criticism. We also tried a sandwich with Nebrodi mortadella and primo sale cheese: good, yes, but nothing exceptional. It's a shame the sandwiches aren't made with Sicilian bread; we'd been told that, but in my opinion, traditional bread would have really made a difference. The cannoli was decent, quite good. The service was courteous and helpful. The restaurant, however, leaves a bit to be desired: the atmosphere is very old, neglected, and with obvious signs of damp. I think it needs a major renovation. We spent €26 in total.

25/09/2025: I celebrated a birthday with my family, the dishes were cooked perfectly and the place was very well looked after.

18/09/2025: The food was great and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, empty glasses weren't cleared, and our request for an ashtray wasn't met. But otherwise, it's highly recommended.

24/06/2025: Super nice little winery. Gabriela is fantastic, so friendly and lovely. We tried a lot and bought a lot because the food is so delicious here 😂 If you want to eat, you have to let them know in advance or make a reservation via the website. My favorite is Irma – who or what she is – go there and find out. :) Happy enjoying!

19/06/2025: Without a doubt the best winery in and around town! A must visit if you are in the area. We stumbled upon this amazing winery yesterday and although it was about to close we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness by host we instantly knew we had to come back. And we are glad we did Today we returned and were treated to a great experience. Delicious wines, amazing olive oil, home made charcuterie, great cheese and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel home. We’ll definitely be back!

14/09/2025: A restaurant on Lake Iseo, with very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is very modern and well-maintained. Lunch or dinner is available both indoors and outdoors, just steps from the lake. The menu features both freshwater and sea fish, and the wine list offers many fine wines, including those from nearby Franciacorta. Highly recommended. A+++

14/09/2025: Typical Italian! Friendly, cheerful, and delicious 😋. The service is very attentive and offers tips on the cuisine, including the food, and is even up for a few funny remarks. The food was very tasty. The only downside is the plastic garden chairs, so you just hope they hold up. Children are welcome.

06/10/2025: Pizzeria Olimpio is always a guarantee! Light, well-cooked pizza made with quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and ideal for a dinner with family or friends. Fast service, even when it's busy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tasty, yet affordable pizza!

25/09/2025: I consider my experience with the pizza I had for lunch on Sunday to be excellent. I showed up without a reservation, but they still found me a table, my order was taken quickly, and the pizza arrived just as quickly. All this despite the place being very busy. My wife and I ordered a two-topped, half-meter-thick scrocchia, and we both loved it so much that neither of us managed to try the other's. It was truly delicious! The setting is an old farmhouse with a certain charm, and there's ample parking for everyone. I highly recommend it.

11/09/2025: Authentic Italian Pizza with authentic Italian way of life! Two thumbs up! We were so lucky, as we arrived 9:30pm (June 30, 2025. Sorry for my late review) and we saw the pizzaiolo already cleaned the kitchen. (We know it is not Hong Kong where shops tend to close late). Thanks for serving us by re-opening the kitchen. It was the last Pizza in this trip, before we head back Hong Kong on the following day. What make it more memorable was the pizzaiolo made a special one for my wife: Heart-shaped Pizza. It is going to be a Life-Long memory for us! 200% thank you and delicious!

07/08/2025: A pizzeria that doesn't do pizzas... we came for lunch and we had the choice between tomato pasta and pesto pasta... 28 euros for 2 pasta dishes with water and 1 coffee... a shame though, especially since there wasn't much pasta and well it was the classic pasta that you can make at home. We left disappointed... on the other hand they accept dogs and that's great!

02/09/2025: A very nice restaurant, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The view is truly delightful and makes the experience even more special. The food is excellent, well-prepared and of high quality. Recommended for both a quiet dinner and a special occasion.

31/08/2025: We went to dinner today. We've been wanting to return to this restaurant for a while. It was a pleasure to try their dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed, along with several others who, like us, have raved about them many times—that was just up until two and a half years ago! This evening, we ordered directly from the owner at the table. What we chose wasn't available, so we were advised on other dishes. When they arrived, we tasted them, and the meat was tough, rubbery, and inedible. We reported it to the waiter, who told him to report it to the kitchen. We finished, and I approached the cashier to pay, and I did, without anyone apologizing or trying to make amends! In a restaurant of this caliber, I don't pay much attention to prices, but rather to the quality of the products. I'm sorry, but the quality of the meat served to us wouldn't be up to par even in the worst local trattoria. The thing that bothered me most was the owner's utter indifference, despite having reported it to the waiter.

05/10/2025: The ice cream flavors are too weird. In the end, you're left craving good ice cream. Overrated.

24/09/2025: I've been a customer forever, ever since my parents took me there as a child because they, too, grew up eating Biondo's gelato. The gelato is always excellent, but it's a shame that in recent years the prices have skyrocketed and the portions have gotten smaller.

28/07/2025: Impeccable service, sublime food, and, obviously, the price isn't for everyone, especially if you're interested in multiple courses. A place to return to, to find the perfect balance between location and quality food. Next time I'll try the veranda, perhaps in milder temperatures.

15/07/2025: Nice place, very attentive service (a little pushy). Lunch break: 1 first course and water for €20, portion a little small.

12/10/2025: The pizza was super delicious... Highly recommended. We arrived shortly after 6 p.m. and got a seat without a reservation. But it gets really crowded afterward. I think, depending on the session and the time, you should make a reservation. The service was very good; everyone was very friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back one of these days 😊
