Ristorante Papillon In Salò

A beautiful location and amazing pizza. ♡ Definitely worth a visit.

I was undoubtedly comfortable sitting by the window with a lovely view of the lake – the interior decor is quite eclectic, so I can't really describe the atmosphere as great (but as they say, there's no accounting for taste). I found the food okay, but the wine list was far too expensive for Italian standards. I only discovered by chance at the end that the restaurant is co-owned by a German woman. Perhaps that's why I didn't perceive the place as typically Italian – overall, very touristy, but I must say the staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a good pizza or really fresh fish, I'd recommend other restaurants, but if you're looking for a romantic window seat and the expensive wines don't scare you off, you can certainly enjoy it – it's perfectly fine for tourists.

Compared to other places in the area - this is the most delicious and nicest place in Salò;)

The best place in Salo. Great food, great service, absolutely near to the lake, in green, very reasonable relation of price to quality. I can it recommend strongly.

Very good pizzas. The fish selection could be improved. Prices are on the higher end for this type of restaurant in the region.

The pizza is mediocre and service is rude. They tried to charge my partner a cover fee despite that she did not eat. She only sat down briefly after I finished my meal and was waiting to pay.

We went for a drink in the early evening and were quickly served. The view on the lake is pleasant 👌
