The restaurant is bright and welcoming, with a splendid view of the lake, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The service is quick and courteous, ideal for those short on time but still wanting a quality meal. The value for money is excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and generous portions. 13/10/2025: Business lunch, 40-minute wait for the first course. The table next to us forfeited their second course because of the wait. Those at the cash register before me didn't receive coffee and requested it when they got the bill. While I was paying, I noticed another table hadn't received their drinks. I ordered spaghetti, and penne arrived without informing them of the change. I ordered chicken for the second course, which ran out, but this time they informed them of the change. They offered us steaks, which we accepted, but asked for rare. Shoe insoles arrived. I pointed this out to the waitress, who turned around and left, saying "sorry." Sour eggplant At least the gnocchi were good! Business lunch for those with a 2-hour lunch break Service needs reviewing

11/10/2025: We had dinner with friends during an evening with live music and a fall menu. We had a great time. The waiters were very quick, friendly, and attentive. The food was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. The quality/price ratio is very good. The place is clean and welcoming. There is plenty of parking available.

07/08/2025: Small restaurant with a fairly limited but truly excellent menu, we had a starter with cured meats and fried dumplings which were truly excellent, for second courses we had the meat or the picanha or the rib steak, the meat was truly exceptional, highly recommended, perhaps the prices are a little high

04/11/2025: The bar's location is simply amazing. We had a Spritz and just enjoyed the view. The drinks automatically come with a tiered tray of snacks – absolutely delicious! 😍

12/10/2025: Unfortunately the beef cheeks I ordered were uncooked! Instead of a normal 10h cooking they grilled it for 10 min. I couldn't cut it! At least the chef apologised and I didn't pay for it. Normally they should have offered another dish. Sad experience!

22/09/2025: We visited Antica Hosteria Cavallino and had a truly enjoyable experience. We tried high-quality seafood dishes, with a distinct Sardinian flavour. Fregua Sarda Senatore Capelli creamed with shellfish (lobster and red shrimp): creamy, balanced, and rich in flavour. Gran Trionfo di Crustacei del Mediterraneo alla Catalana: a spectacular and generous dish, perfect for those who love the authentic flavours of the sea. A delicious Sardinian Vermentino paired the meal, fresh and aromatic, which perfectly complemented the dishes. To conclude, a delicious warm ravioli filled with citrus custard and basil ice cream: an original and well-executed dessert. The location is private and welcoming, the atmosphere intimate and refined. The staff was courteous and friendly, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. The dishes are of a high standard, and the quality is evident, even if the prices are a bit above average. Overall, however, it's worth it for those seeking refined seafood cuisine with a strong Sardinian identity. The house myrtle liqueur is offered at the end. Always appreciated.

20/08/2025: Giulio, the host, is incredible. His knowledge of Italian wines and gastronomy is unique! We had a Leonardo Da Vinci platter (a mix of cheese and cured meats) and two glasses of wine, a delicious white and a truly exceptional red! We added some side dishes (Apulian asparagus and Sicilian artichokes) at Giulio's suggestion, and thank you so much! They were delicious! This is a place for anyone who wants to learn a little more about our gastronomy, our Italian products, and especially for anyone who knows how to recognize a food enthusiast like Giulio! Thank you so much!

17/08/2025: The tables are furnished in an original and characteristic way; it's a shame that the area in which they are located isn't particularly beautiful. In my opinion, the waiter wasn't entirely transparent, offering us jams and honey along with the cheeses; when it came to the bill, we discovered they were extra and had to be paid. The products were good, but the prices were far too high for the quantity, the location, and the products provided. €44 for the aperitif pictured seems utterly exorbitant.
