12/08/2025: Assurdo non trovare la granita al caffè..... credo assieme alla mandorla sia tra i gusti piu gettonati in Sicilia . Suvvia siamo in Italia , caffè- dipendenti . A colazione granita al caffè con panna e brioche calda sarebbe stato il top ....PECCATO !

12/07/2025: Nice place with young and very friendly staff. A varied menu with excellent burgers, pizzas, and salads, generous portions, and moderate prices. For children, they have coloring mats and crayons available.

28/07/2025: I've been to this pastry shop and I was absolutely thrilled! It's a place where you can experience true Italian tradition: all kinds of bread, fresh pastries and filled brioche, biscuits... there's truly everything, all prepared with care and using quality ingredients. I ordered a pistachio cake for my son's birthday and it was a hit: soft, delicious, beautifully decorated, simply perfect ✔️. All the guests loved it! The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly: you can feel his passion for his work. A place I'll definitely return to, and one I recommend to anyone looking for flavor, quality, and an authentic welcome.

01/08/2025: Passeggiare in riva al lago mette appetito e quando ti siedi a tavola e mangi bene, allora la giornata è perfetta. Tavolo lungo lago, personale gentilissimo ed efficiente (e super paziente), piatti ottimi e abbondanti. Complimenti a tutto lo staff!!!

26/07/2025: A table by the lake, under a swamp cypress. Excellent stuffed pasta with lake fish and sage, large pizzas excellent, salad with mozzarella, fish, excellent. Everything very tasty!!!

16/06/2025: Amazing place. Since it also organizes events, the 2 parking lots have few parking spaces and, for sure, not for family cars. The chaotic service. The only positive note is the food. I appreciated the quality.

Happy to return to this excellent restaurant, which we also consider a bit as our family ❤️💯 Review June 2024: Anfo is one of those villages most people drive through. And maybe when you do, you will spot “Al Carel”. Make sure you stop and go visit this exquisite little restaurant. Here’s why… You will be welcomed like a lost relative coming home. You will sit with local Italians, which should already tell you this is a good place to be. Our waitress, who speaks English very well, started to explain about the menu. The way she did that, it became poetry. If Italy would ever need to put one person on stage as a spokes person, she would need to be the first choice. Now I can tell you all about the excellent food, the divine lasagne bolognese I ate, but you will have to experience what it truly means if Italians cook up a dish. Coming from The Netherlands, our kitchen is not well known internationally. We cook to eat mostly, you will survive the Dutch kitchen and not go hungry. But Italians can cook. And when they put their heart in it, like they do at “Al Carel”, you will be a changed person for the better. Al Carel, their kitchen staff and people working there, serving you, will make you feel at home in Italy, like a long lost family member returning. ❤️🇮🇹💯

04/08/2025: Two of us arrived for a late lunch in the middle of a busy road trip. Despite that and the midday rush, the lunch was impeccable: gnocchi with creamed peppers and a mix of cheeses accompanied by vegetables for the main course. Very helpful and friendly staff. Total cost €15 per person, a more than reasonable price. I recommend it ☺️

04/07/2025: Ristorante molto carino e romantico, abbiamo cenato all'esterno sotto gli ombrelloni; il proprietario è anche lo chef e ti descrive i piatti, gli ingredienti e la loro realizzazioni, molto preparato e gentile. Prezzi sopra la media giustificati dalla qualità del cibo e location. Consigliatissimo
