28/05/2025: We had a wonderful evening at the trattoria with a table right by the lake. From starters to dessert, we had consistently delicious dishes (and works of art on the plates), and very friendly and attentive service. Overall, a fantastic evening with excellent service and delicious food. The chef himself came out several times to serve us and even tried to speak good English for us tourists :-) We also ran into him outside the trattoria on other days, and he was happy to have a friendly chat. We felt very comfortable at the trattoria and now, after moving on, miss the place very much, as there is a certain family-like, communal atmosphere in the air there.

26/05/2025: Walking along Via Quarenghi, in the heart of Bergamo, it is easy to pass by Bai Wei Guan without noticing it: the entrance is discreet, almost anonymous, especially because of a lowered shutter that could make you think it is closed. However, behind the threshold lies one of the most authentic and surprising Chinese cuisine experiences that the city has to offer. The restaurant - small and cozy, but always tidy - offers a selection of dishes that differs from the "Westernized" versions that many are used to. Here you can breathe authenticity: the menu offers typical specialties of the Chinese tradition, with a rare attention to the quality of the ingredients and the care in the preparation. The quality-price ratio is decidedly favorable, especially considering the possibility of tasting dishes that are difficult to find elsewhere, such as sautéed okra, pig's ears, the centenary egg, or phoenix legs - dishes not for everyone, of course, but that will delight the most curious and passionate palates. The service is fast, friendly and always attentive, helping to make the experience pleasant and relaxed. The place is not yet very well known, which makes it easy to find a place, even on weekends and during lunch breaks. Payments by debit card are accepted. Only warning for those arriving from outside: being right in the city center, parking can be complicated. It is recommended to reach it on foot or by public transport. In short, an address to note and keep: a real pearl for those who want to discover the most authentic Chinese cuisine, without leaving Bergamo.

10/05/2025: Eat a lot while spending little. I recommend the soy noodles with vegetables and the beef with peppers and spicy sauce. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is welcoming.

20/05/2025: A place located in the middle of the green countryside of Odiago, a very quiet and relaxing setting in contact with nature. The place is traditional like the cuisine it offers (very good, I might add) and pleasantly sober but at the same time warm in its furnishings. We celebrated my daughter's communion a few days ago and we were fully satisfied. The first courses were especially excellent, casoncelli alla bergamasca and asparagus risotto with crispy bacon, and the braised donkey, very tender and tasty. Very generous portions - at the end of the first courses I was already raising the white flag. We will definitely be back soon for a more informal dinner.

10/06/2025: I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants, but since I've known them for many years, they deserve it. I'm shocked to read other less positive ones, probably they went to the wrong restaurant and got confused. In the seasons where I go and many other people, the service is efficient even when in difficulty (restaurant overbooked), the staff is attentive and above all it's the only place in all of Bergamo where you can trust to eat crudités! Well done well done!!

26/05/2025: Sunday lunch a bit of a wait (probably because of the large table present), the meat arrived lukewarm and there was no chance of having a griddle to fix it.

04/05/2025: My absolute comfort place since I lived in Bergamo! Inside it is small and very characteristic, the scent of the food immediately makes your mouth water. When I order takeaway they are always very precise and punctual, the portions are generous, the owners are kind, friendly and helpful, the dishes are always good and hot and the ingredients are excellent and unique, with the possibility of composing your own box as you wish or choosing from their proposals. When I'm a bit down no one can take away Wok Street to cheer me up, absolutely the best discovery I could have made! I will continue to recommend it to everyone!!

13/03/2025: Delicious food, timely delivery (with Deliveroo). I have ordered from here several times already and have never been disappointed. The restaurant offers the possibility of eating on site, even if the place is very small and has few seats. The only flaw: once upon a time you could also order at lunch, now you can't anymore :'( Please, put the deliveries back at lunch too! Working from home, your Wok is perfect for the lunch break.
