12/07/2025: A delicious Saturday evening experience. To start, a carpaccio of smoked fish: swordfish, tuna, and salmon. Delicious in the order listed above. And a generous portion, too. Then, a fillet of sea bream turned out to be a gigantic platter filled with seafood in addition to the fish. Delicious. Wonderful squid, soft, not rubbery. And a delicious perch fried in breadcrumbs. Try it!

09/07/2025: Waited almost two hours with two young children to get four pizza’s on the table. Ridiculous and very much a shame for the good food that is served. People who just arrived and had a drink walked away without paying. Owners really need to get this together and get a better table management in place and get a better overview of the terras.

16/07/2025: Spectacular restaurant. Vegan restaurant with daily vegetarian options. The dishes are truly tasty and beautifully presented. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

15/07/2025: A huge place, I think it seats more than 1,000 people, both inside and out. We stopped by on a rainy day and still had a great time. There's a play area inside for kids, and a cool outdoor area. The food was good and served very quickly, despite the large seating capacity. It's especially worth going in a group. The casoncelli and tiramisu were very good.

17/07/2025: I highly recommend it! The prices are reasonable, and the Aperol and Campari Spritz are truly carefully crafted and full of flavor. They don't skimp on the alcohol, maintaining the right proportions. The staff is friendly and helpful, speaking fluent English.

13/07/2025: Sunday lunchtime, a huge crowd, very little wait, and then we were immediately seated inside. Comfortable with air conditioning. The smash burger was amazing! I had the most patriotic one, the Valliburger with Branzi cheese, Bergamo pancetta, and 200g of 0-km burger.

15/06/2025: Sono passato in questa gelateria dopo un bel giro in bici lungo il fiume Serio. Ho preso una coppetta da 2 gusti (pompelmo rosa e uva+fragola): sapori interessanti, anche se la consistenza mi è sembrata un po' troppo cremosa, tipo fruttolo. Il prezzo però mi è sembrato alto (3,30€ per la coppetta e 1,20€ per una bottiglietta d’acqua naturale). Quello che mi ha lasciato perplesso è che non mi è stato emesso lo scontrino, né per il gelato né per l’acqua, nonostante avessi atteso. Mi è stato detto che “era tutto a posto così” e sono stato salutato. Pagare senza ricevere lo scontrino non è corretto, e dispiace per chi le tasse le paga sempre. Il locale si trova sulla strada, ha 4 o 5 tavolini da due persone all'aperto proprio sul lato strada. Non c'è un parcheggio vero e proprio: all'interno della gelateria è indicato che, se la sosta è breve (per asporto), si può usare il parcheggio della birreria vicina. Il gelato è abbastanza buono, però è migliorabile per quanto riguarda la posizione, il prezzo e soprattutto la trasparenza.

15/06/2025: I stopped by this ice cream shop after a nice bike ride along the Serio river. I had a cup with 2 flavors (pink grapefruit and grape + strawberry): interesting flavors, even if the consistency seemed a bit too creamy, like fruit. The price, however, seemed high (€3.30 for the cup and €1.20 for a bottle of still water). What left me perplexed is that I was not given a receipt, neither for the ice cream nor for the water, even though I had waited. I was told that "everything was fine as it is" and was greeted. Paying without receiving a receipt is not correct, and it's a shame for those who always pay taxes. The place is on the road, it has 4 or 5 tables for two people outside right on the road side. There is no real parking: inside the ice cream shop it is indicated that, if the stop is short (for take-away), you can use the parking lot of the nearby brewery. The ice cream is quite good, but it can be improved in terms of location, price and above all transparency.

19/07/2025: I support all the negative reviews because, first and foremost, the manner and courtesy toward the customer, who is always right, should be improved, starting with the owner. They could organize courtesy courses, although I believe ignorance would reign supreme and gain nothing. One star for everything, even the location, which loses its charm in the context of the hospitality and service. You can't rate less than one star. They should include a negative scale down to... minus 10.... And minus ten would be an acceptable rating for certain laborers. Anyone who knows him should avoid him! PS: Do you happen to know when he closes for good?

18/06/2025: This is one of the best dining experiences I have had so far in my Italy trip. Not your typical menu, every ingredient of the dishes is carefully sourced and the curation of cheeses and wines are delicious. We’ve learned about the Alps and Bergamo food culture from the owner as well. What a charming restaurant and we had an absolutely wonderful dinner there!
