13/04/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You always come back to Ugo's, and you know why. I go back to Ugo's whenever I want to eat well without thinking too much. The grilled meat is a guarantee, the local cured meats and cheeses are always a wonderful discovery, and the wine cellar is so well-stocked that you're spoiled for choice. Luckily, there's Ugo, who knows every bottle and can always recommend the right one without making you feel like you're lacking. He does it naturally, and that makes all the difference. The staff in the dining room are brilliant, and you feel like you're being looked after just right, without being overly so. And then there's Ilaria in the kitchen, who cooks with both heart and soul. The desserts are delicious, but the pumpkin gnocchi are something else entirely—every time I promise myself I won't order them so I can try something else, and every time I give in. 😄 A real place, without frills. You eat well, you feel good. What more could you want? ​

29/03/2026: Discovered by chance with friends, a great place to eat just steps from the lake if you're looking for a quiet place. The cured meats are sublime, fresh and freshly cut, along with good cheeses and even the tagliata. For wine lovers, the excellent cellar. Excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

27/02/2026: We discovered Caffè Leonardo by chance while wandering through the city. It was a wonderful experience! The staff, who didn't hesitate for a second to set up the room for our group of 10, were lovely and friendly. The food was excellent, with very reasonable prices; all served in record time, with a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. A fantastic time spent in Milan, with amazing waiters.

The place is very small, with just a few tables, but precisely for this reason, it's intimate and welcoming, with an atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The staff is truly friendly and very kind, always available and attentive, without ever being intrusive. You can sense the genuine and attentive management. The dishes are good quality, with a pleasant homey feel: simple but well-made cuisine that satisfies and leaves a lasting impression precisely because of its authenticity. We ordered a first course, a second course, two beers, two coffees, and two liqueurs, for a total of €52, which was later discounted to €45 with the receipt: excellent value. Overall, a very positive experience, a truly worthwhile little place that we'll gladly return to.

07/12/2025: I went with my boyfriend a week ago for our anniversary. The service was impeccable and fast, the food was delicious and very fresh, and the staff was friendly and never intrusive. I recommend everyone try the seafood spaghetti in a pizza crust, the appetizers, and the raw fish. It's super easy to get to given its proximity to the Isola metro station! I'll leave some photos; we'll be back!

Small place with a few minor flaws (outside restroom, small and close-packed tables, and a front door that will surely let in cold gusts in the winter), but still well-decorated and even welcoming. Open kitchen. Interesting dishes, well-cooked, and generous portions. I found the rice with local cheeses and blueberries to be a hit. The soup served in a pumpkin bowl was a nice idea. Average value for money, a €5-€6 less would have been nice. I didn't try them, but the fish options didn't convince me. Overall, a positive experience. A place worth a visit.

24/03/2026: Amazing squid ink pasta (big tube shaped) with prawn and white fish, simple butter / light seafood flavor. Probably the best meal we've had this trip. The risotto was good but heavy for our taste. The service was fantastic. The waitress gave us some history of the tower, as the dining room was a separate apartment and they joined the tower to it in the 1990s when they took down the towers.

Highly recommended for those who travel for work, eat out often, and are tired of eating the same things that always seem to taste the same. This restaurant is truly a surprise!!!

31/03/2026: Such a wonderful experience at Caffè Baglioni in Perugia. This place is truly special. It’s an authentic café that has been part of the city since 1968 and you can really feel that history and tradition when you step inside.  Honestly, this might be the best espresso in Perugia and the cornetto was absolutely perfect. Everything feels genuine and local, the atmosphere, the people and the way they prepare the coffee. It’s the kind of place where you can experience the real Italian café culture, not just a tourist stop. You can see that it’s run with passion and care and it makes you trust the place even more because it feels truly authentic and welcoming. The whole experience was amazing, and I’m really happy I discovered it ☕🥐✨

02/03/2026: Yesterday I celebrated my mom's birthday at a place that would be an understatement to call "agriturismo": Agriturismo Pecora Nera, a true temple of Mantuan cuisine nestled in the Quingentole countryside. Here, you can feel the authenticity from the first bite to the last. The owner makes everything in-house, from fresh pasta to more elaborate dishes, and you can taste it. Each dish exudes passion, tradition, and rare care. The appetizers won us over immediately: the sbrisolona with Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto, and mustard was amazing—a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The pork tuna was also truly excellent, flavorful and incredibly tender. The bigoli al torchio with Lambrusco, pancetta, and cheese sauce? Simply extraordinary. A rich, enveloping first course, the kind that makes you close your eyes at first bite. The tagliatelle with truffle was simply splendid! And then the duck escalope with orange, pine nuts, and raisins: delicate yet bold, with a perfectly balanced sweet-citrus contrast. The desserts are very good, but a special mention goes to the trio of sweet salamis: delicious, creative, and irresistible. The wine pairings are also excellent, carefully chosen and perfectly in tune with the dishes. Fantastic service: welcoming, cheerful, never intrusive. They make you feel at home, but with the quality of a high-end restaurant. Plus, you can purchase some of their artisanal products—from sbrisolona to mustards, from cooked wine to other delicacies—to take home a piece of this experience. Excellent value. An authentic, sincere place where you eat truly well and leave with a smile. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. ❤️
