Great restaurant recommended by our B&B host. The antipasti were great - a hearty portion of salami and mixed cheeses. But the star of the show is the horse steak that was such a great price.

If you're looking for a lakeside spot where you can eat wonderfully without falling into the usual "tourist traps," Osteria Cà dei Cindri is the definitive answer. In my opinion, it's definitely a cut above many other restaurants in the area that boast so much but don't hold a candle to it. The welcome and service were excellent: the staff were kind, attentive, and ready to make you feel immediately at ease. The real highlight here is the grilled meat, as the menu offers a wide range of specialties for lovers of the genre. We opted for four meat-based main courses and were thrilled: A hand-cut beef tagliata, incredibly tender, flavorful, and flavorful. A rib-eye steak, also cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and of excellent quality. Two horsemeat tagliatas that to call exquisite is an understatement. To top it off, we ordered two house-made desserts, which also received top marks. The value for money is absolutely exceptional, which isn't a given for a place in such a beautiful location. Highly recommended! One fundamental piece of advice: make a reservation, because a place like this deserves to be (rightly) always full! We'll definitely be back.

Very genuine italian place with traditional style

Truly a typical osteria. Simple, welcoming, and friendly service with dishes that reflect the rural atmosphere: simple, well-cooked, and...long live abundance.

Oh my goodness, I can't stand it anymore, I have to write this. Everything we ordered here was delicious; we're still finishing it, but I'm writing this while it's still hot! The lamb ribs were excellent, the salad as a side, and the juicy tomatoes were fantastic. The local beer was perfect! And finally, dessert: chocolate ricotta and tiramisu—the best! Even the olive oil served with the bread was delicious!!! P.S. I didn't have time to take pictures of the dishes; I didn't get to the table in time, just the aforementioned olive oil and beer.

A small restaurant in Iseo, located on a street parallel to the lakefront. We ate outside because it was a nice day; the tables overlook the quiet street. The menu features traditional dishes. The grilled food is excellent, and the bill is excellent value.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You always come back to Ugo's, and you know why. I go back to Ugo's whenever I want to eat well without thinking too much. The grilled meat is a guarantee, the local cured meats and cheeses are always a wonderful discovery, and the wine cellar is so well-stocked that you're spoiled for choice. Luckily, there's Ugo, who knows every bottle and can always recommend the right one without making you feel like you're lacking. He does it naturally, and that makes all the difference. The staff in the dining room are brilliant, and you feel like you're being looked after just right, without being overly so. And then there's Ilaria in the kitchen, who cooks with both heart and soul. The desserts are delicious, but the pumpkin gnocchi are something else entirely—every time I promise myself I won't order them so I can try something else, and every time I give in. 😄 A real place, without frills. You eat well, you feel good. What more could you want? ​
