09/04/2025: A very welcoming restaurant in the center of Gallarate. Nice environment, excellent service: very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The aperitif with cured meats and fried mini gnocchi was appreciated. Dinner with some notes: fillet requested medium rare but arrived rare (even more than rare). While the horse rib requested rare is perfectly cooked. The Bourguignonne snails are good: I would suggest a little more sauce. Good cut with all the classic ingredients. Grilled calamari not exactly well executed. The first course of tagliolini was good. Wine list not very extensive but valid in terms of level of proposals Very honest prices.

31/05/2025: Well-kept place, friendly and always smiling staff. Excellent initial presentation of the guide who showed great passion. Activities of great interest for children. Great for spending a sunny day!

26/05/2025: Sunday school trip. The children had fun and spent a different day and, in any case, a day of learning (third grade school program). Various and quite engaging workshops for everyone. Surely the sunny day, not excessive, helped. Large spaces for picnics and well-distributed services and fountains. Small note: some parts need maintenance. Very positive experience anyway

18/05/2025: Beautiful location but unfortunately the food was terrible, perhaps I have never eaten so badly, waited 4 hours for a normal Sunday lunch, the quality of the food was very poor, I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone......

17/05/2025: I went to the business brunch today with a dear friend as a guest. We were amazed by the delicacy of the food, the beauty of the place and the meticulous attention to service. The boy who served us throughout the lunch deserves a special mention because it's been years since I've found so much passion and care in the service. I sincerely hope that his professionalism will be adequately recognized because in addition to the undeniable mastery of the chefs, our experience was magical also thanks to his thoughtful care. Moreover, attention (unfortunately in 2025 not yet so obvious) to intolerances and food choices is truly commendable.

01/06/2025: Diner at Il Capaccio, I choose a local beer from Sardaigne unfiltered type, better than Heineken… it came with salty snacks. Then I hot scallop from the oven a bit too dry, I was expecting a sauce with it. Then a tuna steak with raw vegetable completed with a grappa from the barrel and finally tiramisu. The service was excellent, the food good but a little more of yumami could made it better.

09/05/2025: Il Carpaccio delivered a delightful dining experience with perfectly cooked steak and fresh, flavorful fish. The crème brûlée was a standout finale—creamy, crisp-topped, and beautifully balanced.

01/06/2025: My daughter had been a customer of Lievin Lovere for quite some time, especially for the magnificent bread, as well as for the pizza by the slice. Today we went to Castione della Presolana to pick up the loaves and stopped for lunch at Lanterna. Excellent gourmet pizza! Top quality ingredients/goodness, super dough! Thanks

I often organise dinner with groups and it is not easy to find a welcoming atmosphere like this one! The food is very good and very high quality! The final note is the VIEW-unbelievable!!

24/05/2025: Pierino Penati's restaurant delighted us. We were celebrating the new job of one of our roommates and we couldn't have chosen a better place: the egg appetizer was delicious. In addition, the service was very friendly, because even if not everyone had ordered the first course, everyone was given a taste. How nice it is to go to a place where you eat elaborate recipes, but with a very high sense of humanity towards the customer.

19/05/2025: Il locale AL CANTUCCIO è grande poco più di un salotto di casa, ha circa 10/12 tavoli, da qui il nome AL CANTUCCIO: quindi il primo consiglio è quello di prenotare per tempo se volete andarvi per cenare. La settimana scorsa (infra settimana è più tranquillo ed è più facile trovare un tavolo per 2/4 persone anche il giorno prima) ci siamo trovati in 2 coppie ed abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Si trova nel centro di Rho, in Via Garibaldi, 57 a pochi passi dalla Chiesa di San Vittore. Entrando ti accorgi subito che parte della clientela è habitué, altro fattore positivo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato è risultato di qualità eccellente. Parlando con l’affabile proprietario Davide ci ha riferito che i piatti realizzati prendono spunto dalle basi della cucina Artusi e vengono cambiati mediamente ad ogni stagione. In 4 abbiamo ordinato 2 piatti a testa: Spada Affumicato, Aringa Affumicata ed un Primo di Pasta con pesce, per poi passare ai secondi con Ombrina, Insalata di Polpo, e Coniglio, il tutto innaffiato da 1 Litro e Mezzo di Bianco Mosso della Casa, 4 dessert e caffe. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, dal mio punto di vista, è risultato ottimo: Euro 37,50 cadauno. L’aspetto importante è che si mangia davvero bene spendendo il giusto (a pranzo tra l’altro promozioni di lavoro, ma rispettando il menù giornaliero a 19 Euro). Davvero una bella serata, presente un parcheggio pubblico a 50 metri, gratuito dopo le 19.00. Vi invito a provarlo se non lo conoscete ancora.

08/05/2025: Ieri sera io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo cenato in questa osteria e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Il menù propone piatti tipici ben eseguiti e gustosi. Abbiamo iniziato con dei ravioli ai funghi con fonduta: delicati, ben bilanciati e con una cottura perfetta. Lui ha preso un risotto alla bresaola, saporito e originale. Come secondo abbiamo scelto la polenta taragna con cervo: semplicemente deliziosa, con una carne tenera e ben condita, e una polenta cremosa e saporita. Anche i dolci ci hanno conquistati: tortino pere e cioccolato per me, meringa per lui. Entrambi golosi e ben presentati. Da appassionata di cucina, posso dire che la qualità delle materie prime e la cura nella preparazione si sentono davvero. Il servizio è stato gentile e i tempi giusti. Il prezzo assolutamente proporzionato a qualità e quantità. Consigliatissima!
