15/08/2025: Hidden away, but if you're there, the food is fantastic. Highly recommended.
13/08/2025: I went there with my family for lunch, and the setting and service were pleasant. However, the food was very limited. The two children were treated to frozen food (chicken nuggets, fried fish, frozen potatoes), and so were we: ravioli with frozen filling and porcini mushroom pasta (in a jar) which was passable.
And it's very expensive!

01/08/2025: I think there's a problem...
The prices are certainly high, but they need to be commensurate with the quality and service. Let me start by saying that my review is based entirely on a €135 per person (two friends), and I believe there's a huge discrepancy between what we spent and what we received.
Positive notes: charming location (even if we weren't at the best table), excellent wine list with a wide price range, and excellent quality of the ingredients (meat and fish).
However, for €109 per person for the tasting menu, you expect a completely different experience:
• The waiters joked, laughed, and put stickers on each other's shoulders during service (missing a manager? Probably, but not my problem). We poured our own wine for the entire dinner (for €330, I'd at least expect to be served, considering that in similar restaurants you don't even have to worry about water).
• The dishes often arrived all at once, making it difficult to focus on one dish at a time (which a tasting menu normally requires).
• The menu only included one dish to share (specified between the lines), an unpleasant choice in certain situations (e.g., formal dinners or with unfamiliar people, especially with dishes like calamari spaghetti). Although it was written, I admit (mea culpa) that I didn't notice it, but I don't think it was a good choice.
• Some dishes didn't excite us, but I attribute this to personal taste (too much truffle coating, too much sesame in the tataki, rice dumplings with edamame cream that was rather muddy).
• The amberjack sashimi under a beechwood-smoked dome was already filled with smoke: it felt like eating an extinguished cigarette, a shame, because the amberjack looked good.
• The lobster uramaki was put on the platter five minutes after we ordered and was served as the eighth (second to last) course. The temperature wasn't affected, but seeing it sit for 50 minutes in plain sight wasn't nice, especially when eating in front of the sushi bar. If it really had to be prepared in advance, it could have at least been hidden. The dish is served with the lobster's head, but inside the uramaki was shrimp tempura; the lobster was only in the creamy sauce on top. One lobster probably makes a kilo of that cream, so why present me with the head as if it were all reserved for us? I can understand this ploy at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but not at these prices. I'm criticizing the scenography and the disproportion between price and yield, not the fact that it was "specified."
• The dessert was also disappointing: in a restaurant that defines itself as a "gastronomic journey between Eastern tradition and Western innovation" (I quote from the menu), one expects much more than a tiramisu and a three-chocolate dessert vaguely reminiscent of a Bindi. Japanese cuisine is also renowned for its desserts (macha, mochi, dorayaki, tayaki, yuzu!), so why serve tiramisu?
It's a shame, because I had other expectations when I entered. Maybe it was the wrong night? Maybe. But the final bill leaves no room for excuses.
I'm writing objectively when I say that, for the same price, you could certainly eat and be served much better.
I don't usually leave reviews, much less negative ones, because I respect those who work hard. But in this case, I felt quite taken for a ride, and I think it's right to point that out.
29/07/2025: Overall, a good experience, although I would have liked a little more space between tables. The products were good quality and the dishes were delicious and carefully prepared.
Personally, I preferred last year's menu.

18/07/2025: My husband and I went here for dinner at around 10pm. There were plenty of tables available. The service was fast and friendly. We were worried we wouldn't be able to get by speaking English, but our waiter understood us well and spoke English. I had pasta carbonara, which was the best I've ever had. Great food. My husband had pumpkin tortellini, which was also great. Good drinks and good desserts. Prices really reasonable. The menu would have been nice in English, but it was easy with a translator too.

La Baia dal 1969 non è solo un ristorante pizzeria, è un pezzo di storia viva che porta avanti da oltre 50 anni la tradizione della vera pizza artigianale, con passione e continuità. Appena entri, ti accoglie un’atmosfera calda e familiare, con quel tocco vintage che racconta le origini del locale e ti fa subito sentire a casa.
Il menù è un viaggio nel gusto: pizza eccellente, con impasto lavorato a mano, lievitazione naturale e una croccantezza perfetta. Ogni pizza è curata nei minimi dettagli e si possono anche combinare due gusti diversi, cosa non da poco! Da provare anche le varianti come il padellino o lo sfilatino che aggiungono una marcia in più alla classica proposta.
Non solo pizza: anche i primi piatti sono gustosi e ben fatti. La qualità degli ingredienti si sente, e la presentazione è sempre curata. Ottima anche la selezione di vini e birre, perfetta per accompagnare ogni piatto.
Il servizio è attento, gentile e sorridente. C’è passione in ogni gesto, e si percepisce la voglia di far vivere agli ospiti un’esperienza autentica, genuina, ma mai banale.
In sintesi? La Baia è uno di quei posti che fanno bene al cuore (e al palato). Un locale storico che ha saputo restare al passo coi tempi senza perdere la sua identità.
Una tappa obbligata per chi ama la buona pizza e le atmosfere sincere.

La Baia, established in 1969, is a living piece of history that has perpetuated the tradition of authentic artisanal pizza with passion and consistency for over 50 years. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere, with a vintage touch that speaks to the restaurant's origins and immediately makes you feel at home.
The menu is a journey of flavor: excellent pizza, with hand-kneaded dough, natural leavening, and a perfect crispiness. Each pizza is meticulously crafted, and you can even combine two different flavors—no small feat! Also worth trying are the variations like the panellino or the sfogliatino, which add a touch of class to the classic menu.
It's not just pizza: the pasta dishes are also tasty and well-made. The quality of the ingredients is evident, and the presentation is always meticulous. The selection of wines and beers is also excellent, perfect to accompany every dish.
The service is attentive, friendly, and always smiling. There's passion in every gesture, and you can sense the desire to offer guests an authentic, genuine, yet never banal experience.

30/06/2025: Inside what used to be a stable, a delightful restaurant has been rebuilt in Bereguardo. Classic Italian dishes, excellent meats and a fairly well-stocked wine list. The team is made up of professionals, carines and friendly. Very good cured meats, giardiniera as it once was, spectacular tagkiata (even if cooked a minute too long). Bonarda and Croatina are up to the task. Plenty of parking spaces. I have no idea of the costs because I was a guest. KAIMANO!!
16/06/2025: I went one evening during the week with a reservation (even though the place wasn't particularly crowded). The food is of excellent quality and all the dishes ordered turned out to be excellent. The service was fast, with kind and helpful staff. The prices are adequate for the quality of the raw materials, even if the desserts are a bit high. In general, I had a great time: I recommend this place and I will definitely go back.

22/08/2025: I went to try this pizzeria with a friend who grew up in Pavia and he raved about it. We made a reservation, and the parking lot two minutes away was large and fairly free. Once inside, we ordered a meter of pizza despite the staff having pointed out that it was really a lot... we finished it between the two of us. Really good! Let's say that roughly a quarter of a meter corresponds to a round pizza, and you can choose from two different toppings. The price was excellent, a far cry from the madness of Milan. Highly recommended.

27/07/2025: The atmosphere was a bit anonymous, the dishes were well presented. We ordered two spaghetti alla Nerano, which I personally lacked a bit more provola. A mozzarella in carrozza was fried well, tasty and light. The cheeses with mustard, on the other hand, were a bit mediocre. Of course, everyone has their own tastes. I like strong flavors. The service was good, but a little more smile wouldn't hurt. They seemed to have little desire to work. Just my impression.
20/07/2025: We went here for the first time with friends and had a great time. The appetizers were delicious, the two fried pizzas were fantastic. The fried pizza was so light it didn't even taste like fried food, and the mozzarella in carrozza was puffy and crispy.
The pizzas were fabulous, both in appearance and taste. I've never had such a good and rich pizza.
I recommend this place to everyone.
The only flaw was the service. I don't know if the guys were newly hired because they were slow and a bit confused. Otherwise, everything was perfect, even the price!
We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

04/07/2025: What a nice place!!! Everything is great - sandwiches, lunch dishes, aperitivo snacks, coffee… but the most important is that the staff is amazing!!!
We’ve spent couple of days in Milano, and every day we had a breakfast here 👍👍 if you stay at this zone (metro station Buonarotti) this is a real gem!
Prices are really fair, and the atmosphere is fantastic, bar is full of people all the time, but not hectic!

29/07/2025: A truly affordable Chinese restaurant in Milan. We stopped here for a quick dinner. The location is simple, with an outdoor area that could be improved; the staff was rather slow but still friendly. The table setting was minimal. The dishes were decent enough to justify the (incredibly low) bill.

21/07/2025: A wonderful discovery just steps from the Sant'Agostino green metro station for those looking for a hearty, delicious, and above all, low-cost breakfast.
The place is small but very welcoming.
The staff are super kind, helpful, friendly, friendly, and professional: they're at your complete disposal, even just for a chat.
The selection of cereals, cookies, and baked goods is immense, and you won't know what to get.
They also make regular and protein crepes and pancakes, great for those with allergies or intolerances.
Soon, they'll also be making some completely vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free options, making them affordable for everyone.
The portions are also huge and will fill you up.
Now you really have no more excuses and you have to go.
Support these guys; they truly deserve it.

19/07/2025: Strolling along Viale Coni Zugna with two friends, we stumbled upon a truly special spot: a place that serves "zuppa di latte" like I'd never seen it before. It was a real surprise, instantly transporting me back to my childhood.
The staff is young, dynamic, and incredibly welcoming. The selection is astonishing: an incredible variety of milks, from classic whole and skimmed milks to plant-based and flavored milks, and a selection of artisanal creams that reinterpret iconic flavors in an irresistible way. A one-of-a-kind experience.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with one of the staff, presumably the manager or owner, who told me about their vision: transforming a traditional coffee shop into a 2.0 establishment, where milk and cereal take center stage. An original and well-executed idea, offering a treat on the go at any time of day.
And the real gem? They're planning to open late at night, with delivery available. For me, a Campania native, it was a revelation: being able to enjoy milk soup even late at night is truly a treat.
Congratulations, guys! I can't wait to come back.
