Sciabecco is a well-known pizzeria in Pavia, with an atmosphere that's perfect for both evenings with friends and family. The pizzeria has a rustic yet welcoming atmosphere. The pizza is good, with a light and easily digestible dough, and classic flavors without the pretentiousness of gourmet pizzas with sophisticated ingredients that, in my opinion, are a bit out of place. They also make pizza by the meter, which is a great option if you're looking for a variety of options and have a large table. Their fish-based first courses are also delicious and well-served. During the summer, they also have a small outdoor terrace.

Historic pizzeria in Pavia. We used to go there for basketball about 30 years ago. I went back and had a great time. The pizza was good, well-cooked, and very digestible (so it's well-leavened). The tomato and anchovies were excellent. RECOMMENDED, a nice memory.

Lo Sciabecco is an absolute must for enjoying excellent food, made with quality ingredients and served in a family atmosphere. The seafood is divine, but everything else is equally as good... A special mention for the pizza, which, in all likelihood, isn't always up to par with the cuisine. It's a shame, because you lose out on quality and flavor compared to the food.

The pizza was a bit burnt on the edges, but it was good. The calzone had an excellent filling, but the dough was almost raw. The desserts were good. Friendly service and a family atmosphere. I'll be back to try the food, which, from the dishes I've seen at other tables, looks better than the pizzeria.

I've been going to Sciabecco for over 35 years, I think, and their pizza has always been the best in Pavia. I feel at home there. Mario is number one.
