I wasn't feeling great, but since I was there anyway, I indulged and ordered the signature course. I also had the wine pairing. Things started to get a bit off halfway through the course, and as I got closer to the end, I ended up leaving food behind, even though the portions were already small. Thinking about it now that I've recovered, it feels like such a waste... The server asked if there was something wrong with the food or if I was simply full. As expected, the atmosphere was wonderful, and I didn't feel awkward at all despite being alone. I spent three hours having a fantastic lunch by myself and then walked around a lot afterwards. It is definitely worth the experience. However, if I hadn't been alone, I think I would have ordered a bottle of that fine wine.

The highest level I've ever experienced. I had the business lunch alone, to fully enjoy every single dish—a masterpiece, I should say. All pampered by impeccable staff. The location is intimate and wonderful. I hope to return soon.

Excellent quality and very knowledgeable wait staff. The risotto was truly unforgettable.
The only drawback was the wines, which were definitely overpriced.
The elegant atmosphere is overall recommended.

Chef Antonio Guida's concept is based on the balance inherent in the restaurant's name and logo: his cuisine is silky, soft, elegant, yet not tasteless—quite the opposite. I am a happy amateur in fine dining ("chasing stars" since 2023, a couple every year), but I have to strongly disagree with the 3/5 reviews. From the restaurants I have tried, I would say only the 3 starred Hajime in Osaka places above or at the same level of Seta.
I would even go as far as to say the menu I had - a tribute to black winter truffles - would be the perfect exemple to share with someone who doesn't understand why I love to visit places like this. The menu was full of knockout flavours, but the thing for me is that it is easy to make bold, rich flavours like truffles or the more gamey elements on the menu scream loudly, the real beauty here is that they sing in harmony with everything else. And this they managed to perfection in my opinion.
Standouts/surprises for me was the fregola dish and the fantastic (and local) coffee. First time for me trying fregola and v60 filter coffee, but not the last! I also have to mention allowing me an off menu serving of the risotto and a chef's kiss touch of a birthday present even though I had not marked my booking as a "special occation".
All of the staff was excellent, I don't know what else to say except thank you and hat's off to all of you.
Finally the location as a whole deserves mentioning - the hotel and restaurant are stunning and beautifully located. Did not stay in the hotel, but just sitting in the lobby bar before dinner really set the tone.

Everything was perfect: the quality of the food, the kindness and promptness of the wait staff, the atmosphere. The only small complaint is that we weren't able to say hello to the chef. It would have been nice to express our satisfaction and offer our congratulations. Maybe next time.
