Amazing experience and food! We had the tasting menu and cheese tasting, amazing amazing amazing. The best Michelin star restaurant I experienced. Deserves 3 Michelin stars for sure.

Seta was our choice for a birthday dinner, and the decision proved fitting. Chef Antoni Guida’s cuisine is accomplished and refined each dish carefully composed, the ingredients clearly of high quality. That said, for a two-Michelin-starred kitchen, the flavor impact left me wanting a little more. I’ve encountered equally memorable plates at more modest Michelin Guide addresses, which made the culinary side feel slightly below the expectations the accolades set.
Where Seta is truly beyond reproach is in everything that surrounds the plate. The dining room is quietly spectacular and elegant without being cold, intimate despite its grandeur. The service is the kind that anticipates without intruding, attentive from the first moment to the last. The pacing, the presentation, the atmosphere all flawless.
A restaurant that earns its reputation through the totality of the experience. The room and the hospitality alone make it worth the visit.”

Disappointing service for a two-star restaurant
The food may be a matter of personal taste, but the service was clearly below the standard I would expect from a two-Michelin-star restaurant.
First, I arrived about ten minutes before opening, which I understand may have been too early for immediate seating. However, I had to wait around eight minutes at the reception area before receiving proper attention or guidance. I did not expect to be seated before the restaurant was ready, but at this level, a guest should at least be acknowledged and informed where or how long to wait.
Second, there was a serious issue when the glassware was changed before dessert. Changing the glass itself was perfectly fine, but my remaining water was still in the glass. The server simply removed it without asking, without transferring the water to the new glass, and without replacing it. Later, near the end of the petit fours, when I was running short of water, I was asked whether I wanted another bottle. This felt especially unreasonable because the shortage had partly been created by the service team itself.
As for the food, there were also two issues that some diners may find problematic. First, one of the two oysters did not taste as fresh as I would expect at this level. Second, the apple dessert was too sweet for my taste, especially after the pre-dessert, which was relatively restrained in sweetness compared with similar courses I have had at other restaurants. In that context, I did not quite understand the intention of having a less sweet pre-dessert.
