04/08/2025: We've been customers of this restaurant for many years, but now that the management changed about a month ago, we decided to give it a try. What can I say? I'm very sorry, but I can't give it a positive review. The restaurant's ambiance has remained unchanged, with no improvements. As for the food, there's no longer a pizzeria. The restaurant now aims for fine dining with smaller portions and high prices. Unfortunately, we're not there yet. We ordered shrimp linguine and were honestly quite disappointed. The presentation was beautiful, but the taste was disappointing. Bland and disappointing. We've lost the urge to order a second course. Apple pie was a nice touch, but that was really good. I'm sorry to say, but we won't be returning. I hope the new management improves. The service was truly courteous, and the location has great potential.

31/07/2025: A quick lunch on the go, too little to give the food five stars, but everything was very good (dessert was a main course). Excellent, friendly, and very helpful service. The Cascina is a "place of the heart" for me; I've been happy to visit it at least once a year for almost sixty years. Recommended on days when it's not too busy; you'll appreciate the peace and shade of the walnut tree. This despite the fact that it's very convenient on the road to the Presolana Pass.

15/06/2025: Ottima esperienza culinaria vigevanese. Antipasto e secondo a base di oca: buonissimi! Per vino ho scelto un Pinot nero della zona che con l’oca si è sposato a meraviglia. Locale pulito, ben rinfrescato. Titolari gentili e servizio attento. Un esperienza da ripetere!

27/07/2025: Pan pizza, just like in the old days, without too much pretension or contemporary refinement, simply good! The French fries are iconic; try them with honey and ginger; it sounds strange, but it's worth it! Unique decor, designed by the owners' father.

23/07/2025: I went to dinner with a friend last night... a truly unexpected restaurant! The staff was very attentive and made us feel truly pampered, paying attention to detail. Before starting dinner, they wished us "Bon Voyage." This phrase struck a chord with us, and only at the end of dinner did we realize what a wonderful journey of taste and flavor it was. I recommend this place and I recommend letting their precious advice guide you.

24/07/2025: We tried Africa after other experiences at other Eritrean restaurants. Overall, it was a positive experience: the staff were welcoming and friendly, the location was African-style, and the food was decent. We took advantage of the TheFork booking discount, which only applied to one course of zighinì, not to appetizers and dessert. The restaurant is spacious with two dining rooms and traditional furnishings, although overall the atmosphere is lacking in character. It was too hot. I found the food to be good, but the variety (vegetables and legumes) could be improved. The portions were not generous. The injera bread was perhaps a bit thick and firm. Prices were in line with other restaurants (cover charge €2, Eritrean beer 33cl €4, desserts €5).

21/07/2025: I've never been there, as I haven't lived in Milan since 2008. Thanks to Ristobox, however, I can continue to gorge on Zighini and Spriss, excellently prepared and of the highest quality. Whenever I get a chance to pop by the Madonnina, I'll gladly stop by for a visit.

31/07/2025: Very clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Very friendly and helpful. They make a real effort. The hotel is near the boat dock, so it's easily accessible from other villages around Lake Como. The only drawback is that there aren't many other options in the same village. Would definitely go back.

15/07/2025: My husband and I chose Casa Mascagni – La Campagnola to celebrate our wedding. We want to sincerely thank Eugenio, Ilaria, Pietro, and the entire staff for making this day truly magical and unforgettable. Every detail was meticulously curated, from the civil ceremony held in their beautiful garden to everything that followed: aperitif, dinner, sorbet tasting in their stunning tower, cake cutting, and dessert buffet. Everything took place in an enchanting atmosphere, with an elegant yet natural style, just how we wanted it. The quality of the food was excellent, the staff impeccable and always available, and the most beautiful feeling we had was feeling cared for, listened to, and understood. Our every request was met with care and professionalism, allowing us to experience a truly tailor-made day. Casa Mascagni left us with a wonderful memory that we will cherish forever. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much to everyone!

04/08/2025: Great lunch in a "real Milanese canteen". A lively, family atmosphere. The dishes were hearty and pleasant (not too many vegetables!), and good value for money. The service was efficient and friendly. An excellent place to eat Milanese food among other Milanese, without any fuss.

18/07/2025: A historic trattoria, few dishes but excellent. The cover charge includes slices of hot focaccia.

30/07/2025: 5 grilled scampi, and what's more, they didn't come off the shell...

30/07/2025: We had dinner with 5 adults without a reservation and we found a place right away... a lakeside restaurant with a patio... the menu is extensive with fish, meat and pizza. We had a great dinner and the prices were normal for being on the lake. I recommend it.

22/03/2025: No pizzeria beats this one! Of all the ones I've tried, only in this place do they make it good and with sourdough (therefore digestible!!!). The owner is the one who makes the pizzas and is kind and friendly. I recommend it!!

27/07/2025: Niwa è un locale sempre ben curato, con un’atmosfera elegante e piacevole, ideale per chi vuole immergersi in una cucina raffinata e ricercata. I piatti sono sempre di alta qualità e presentati con grande attenzione ai dettagli. L’unico aspetto che è cambiato rispetto ai primi anni di apertura è la quantità delle porzioni, ora leggermente ridotte. Nonostante questo, Niwa rimane una scelta eccellente per chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria unica

26/07/2025: Great location. Train right outside. We even walked back from the cathedral in the evening. No problem. A detour through the Navagli district.

03/08/2025: Prima volta, ristorante a bordo fiume con terrazza esterna ben curata e interni con vetrate che valorizzano la vista sul ponte in ferro, menu’ vario con prodotti della tradizione e non, piatti buonissimi con porzioni giuste, il risotto alle rane super, servizio attento….che volere di più? Davvero una piacevole scoperta!
