Truly tasty food served with friendliness and elegance

A Pleasant Dinner to Celebrate On May 23rd, my wife and I had dinner at the Ai Serbelloni restaurant in Pregnana Milanese, a quiet location nestled in the countryside just minutes from the Vanzago WWF oasis and far from traffic. After years of deliberation on the part of Lady Barbe Jones (my wife), we finally decided to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary at Ai Serbelloni. There's a small internal parking lot, but plenty of space in the adjacent area. With a welcoming atmosphere, the venue comprises several rooms: three intimate rooms for small receptions (each seating 15-20), one large room (100) for ceremonies or events, a small wine bar seating about fifteen, and a summer terrace, although a bit too close to the internal parking lot. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu, both online and online. The menu includes a tasting menu with three appetizers, one first course, one second course, and a house dessert for €55 per person, or €65 including a bottle of wine, which can be requested for the entire table. Alternatively, a selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, both meat and seafood, is available. The wine list is only available online and offers bottles, half-and-half bottles, and glasses, with slightly higher prices. Our first order was larded prawns served with chickpea cream and artisanal tagliolini with squid ink, red tuna, Riviera olives, and anchovy sauce. This was followed by calamari gratin with citrus fruits, enriched with chickpea cream, fennel and orange salad, and amberjack fish wrapped in paper with olives, cherry tomatoes, and potatoes. All dishes are excellently prepared and feature high-quality ingredients (fish). All washed down with a half-bottle of excellent Pecorino degli Abruzzi. Celebrating our anniversary, we finished off with two desserts prepared by the Chef: a pistachio parfait with added whiskey salted caramel and crumble, and a tiramisu. The final price of €60 per person was in line with the quality of the dishes, with adequate portions; perhaps a little more was expected from the larded prawns. In hindsight, we could have chosen the Tasting Menu to appreciate more flavors. The setting was refined and intimate, and the service was impeccable thanks to the kind and helpful waitstaff. A slight flaw was the lack of air conditioning; we didn't notice it at first, but as the minutes passed, it became essential in these enclosed spaces. The owner, Ana, was a pleasant presence at the cash register to share the quality of the dishes on the menu.

Truly excellent food. The menu is balanced and sophisticated, with 80% seafood. The restaurant itself has very modern spaces, but some areas definitely need updating, such as the bar area and the bathrooms.

We came here this evening for the first time. The perfect place for an intimate dinner or a sociable one. The food is exquisite and prepared with care and attention. The staff is very kind, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel at ease. Nothing is left to chance. Kudos to the owner for how she manages her place; she's incredibly kind. Kudos also to the fantastic and charming waitress, and of course, to the chef for all the dishes he prepared. Everything was delicious and perfect. Will we be back? Absolutely!

I went there for a business lunch. The dishes were few, but well-prepared and presented, with excellent service and good value.

As always, a guarantee. We're so happy to return every time. The owners Massimo (the chef) and Ana are very kind, always super cheerful, and their cuisine is spectacular. Every dish is unique.
