A small culinary reality, near Piazza Ducale in Vigevano. Very friendly and fast service...obviously the various goose-based dishes are delicious! I recommend it to you.

Lunch during the week. The place is very nice, warm and welcoming. The staff prepared and friendly. Very little waiting for service. The dishes are all well executed and really tasty. 2 of us spent 60 euros. We took: grandmother Bruna's platter which contains a goose breast that melts in your mouth and a DREAM goose pâté (the recipe is that of grandmother Bruna who prepared it only for Christmas), a Castelmagno flan and artichokes a unique softness on the palate, in addition to braised goose ravioli and carbonara packets, both abundant and well executed. To drink water.
There is no cover charge. I really enjoyed their sandwiches. Absolutely recommended.

Simple cuisine but of supreme quality and authenticity. The lady who takes the orders has no particular welcoming skills, very frank and at times annoyed. Staff serving dishes with unprecedented kindness and friendliness. Environment to be seen again.....it is located in the center of Vigevano next to the castle so the furnishings and architecture are out of place. Honest prices. Recommended ✌🏻

In inverno a Vigevano l'oca é un must, e non ci ha assolutamente deluso all'Oca Ciuca, un ristorante di tradizione a un passo dalla bellissima piazza, sia per i salumi (prosciutto crudo di petto, salame cotto, mortadella e paté di fegato), sia per la squisita coscia confit (l'avevo sempre e solo mangiata in versione "confit de canard", l'esperienza con l'oca è stata eccellente).
Bonarda appena mosso (ma 14 gradi, e non si sentono) per accompagnare egregiamente il tutto, dolci fatti in casa, conto non economico ma giusto, servizio impeccabile.

Cucina genuina e accoglienza che fa sentire il cliente a casa fanno di questo ristorante una piacevole esperienza. I piatti sono della tradizione contadina, senza troppe elaborazioni e con un impiattamento altrettanto semplice, equilibrati nel gusto e di ottima materia prima. Nel menu vi è varia scelta anche se il piatto forte è l'oca servita in diverse varianti. Carta dei vini variegata con un bravo sommelier a fare da guida. Il prezzo è leggermente sopra media vista la tipologia del locale e l'ambiente, ma ripagato dal gusto.
