I migliori ristoranti in Genova

11/03/2024: 29 febbraio, anniversario di matrimonio. Decidiamo di festeggiare a pranzo, anziché la consueta cena (alla mia età il pranzo crea meno problemi di digestione...). Un amico, considerato il desiderio di mia moglie di assaporare del buon tartufo, ci consiglia di non affrontare un più lungo tragitto fino al Piemonte perché a Serra Riccò c'è un ristorante sotto questo aspetto non teme concorrenza. Accettiamo il consiglio e ci accoglie un locale molto semplice ma altrettanto gradevole, con molti camionisti (il che è un buon segno). Ci avvertono che il "tovagliato" è presente solo a cena, ma il dettaglio non ci preoccupa, mica si mangiano le tovaglie... Menu alla carta, mia moglie si "fionda" su una tartare di fassona al tartufo nero e taglierini al tartufo bianco e tartufo nero con crema di Castelmagno. Io opto per tartare di fassona con cipolle caramellate e tortelli al pesto bianco, la specialità del locale: gli ingredienti del pesto vengono "scompattati", con il basilico nel ripieno dei tortelli, conditi con crema di parmigiano e pinoli tostati. Potevamo farci sfuggire il dolce? Certo che no! Mille sfoglie impazzita e cheesecake. Un pranzo delizioso, piatti tutti assolutamente straordinari ed un plauso al personale, attento e presente senza essere invadente, con il pregio aggiuntivo di un prezioso consiglio sul vino: un ottimo Albarossa (incrocio di barbera e nebbiolo) assolutamente perfetto per accompagnare queste leccornie. Tutto talmente perfetto da farmi venire il dubbio che, probabilmente, avrei ben digerito anche la sera... Un motivo in più per tornarci, a cena... giusto per togliere ogni dubbio anche su quel "probabilmente"...

14/04/2024: Decent food, perhaps we set out with a little too high expectations: given the reviews I expected much more, especially regarding the ravioli which instead disappointed me. Regular portion sizes, quite in line with the price. Maybe we caught the wrong day but let's say that given the road to get there (and the time it takes to travel it) I don't think it's worth it.

05/04/2024: Top quality, especially the characteristic products of the shop, such as the legendary focaccia with polenta, inimitable, the bread, the sweet, fabulous cakes, also customizable for special occasions, the pastry products, from the classic brioches to cream, chocolate and jam, pastries, top quality, my favorites are the sprouts, irresistible meltability, when you close your eyes immersing yourself in the soft cream, it's like traveling to sublime places. The cream puffs and the fruit pastries are also inimitable. The products at based on chocolate, from the finest pralines, dark, milk, or variegated, make prestigious brands pale... Works of art, chocolate figurines, from Easter eggs to the most sophisticated sculptures, it's really a shame eat them, even if when you start it's difficult to find the strength to take a break... These works of art enrich the majestic shop windows with a unique style. Don't forget all the other products of daily consumption, pizza al cut, focaccia of different types, soft or dry depending on your tastes, the most classic, inimitable sweet cakes, from paradise cake, to tarts, to apple pie... Impossible to remember all the products, for my memory,, what I leave out is not because it is less important, but I can't remember at the moment.... Note the sublime sensation of savoring the legendary baci di dama di Priano, the shortcrust pastry canestrelli, the dry pastries, from pignolate to soft almond paste sweets, the quality, professionalism and experience is also recognizable in the sweets of various flavors and sizes, the colombe, from the simplest to the stuffed ones, covered in chocolate or with surprises inside, with various flavors which allow you to satisfy all palates. Not to be forgotten, the staff, who with courtesy, speed and availability towards the ever-growing clientele, create a very familiar environment, you feel at home. I hope I have written as detailed and truthful a review as possible of the historic Priano di Voltri bakery/pastry shop. If I have omitted anything, I apologize in advance. If you read this text carefully, you will hardly be able to resist walking near this shop without let yourself be tempted by some delicacies, and I'm sure that even the most meticulous customer will find "what he's looking for".
