23/05/2026: I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this place. It's a bit of a hassle to get there, but it's worth it. The farinata is excellent, the pizza is excellent. The owner and staff are welcoming and helpful. Finally, a place where people speak Genoese. I'll definitely be back many times. I'd love to try the garden in the summer...

03/06/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The place is unpretentious but charming and well-decorated. The service was quick, friendly, and professional. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The prices were reasonable, though still in the medium-high range. Overall, it's worth a visit!

25/05/2026: An impromptu dinner for two in this lovely, elegant, and quiet restaurant on the Albaro hill. We had two appetizers (Fassona tartare) and two first courses (cuttlefish ink tagliolini with swordfish and pesto trofie), drinking water and beer. Everything was very good and with decent portions. Very courteous service, perhaps a little slow (or maybe we were in a hurry). The restroom was small but tidy. Excellent price (56 euros) with the fork discount, even if the cover charge was 3 euros...

16/05/2026: Good service. However, 35€ for a small platter of bad (didn't taste fresh) fried seafood is not acceptable. Same goes with the pasta plate we had, it came very quickly and didn't taste fresh. Very touristic and overpriced experience unfortunately.

06/03/2026: I stopped by this bakery to buy some Genoese focaccia to take to relatives. The product was good and of high quality. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the attitude of the sales assistant. I had purchased two trays of focaccia and politely asked if it was possible to divide them into three bags because I needed to distribute them to family members. The request was met with a rather rude response that left me truly surprised. I understand that working behind the counter can be intense, but a little courtesy towards customers always makes a difference. It's a shame, because with a kinder attitude, it would have been a much more pleasant experience!

19/04/2026: A minimalist and elegant restaurant, with a relaxed atmosphere and a fairly select clientele. The menu is primarily seafood-based, with simple yet thoughtful offerings. We each had an appetizer and a first course: the appetizers were well-balanced in terms of portions and flavors, while the first courses were more generous. The wine selection was also good: the one we tried was pleasant and paired well with the dishes. The service was discreet and in keeping with the setting, without being overbearing but still attentive. Overall, a positive experience: you can sense the good quality of the ingredients and a certain attention to detail in the menu. The quality/price ratio is consistent with the type of restaurant and the offerings.

19/04/2026: A wonderful experience, a historic Genoa restaurant, an elegant location with meticulous attention to detail. Kudos to the staff for the service, truly kind and professional, yet unobtrusive. A friend of mine tried the Zeffirino cheese focaccia with pesto and was amazed, so he complimented the kitchen. A few minutes passed, and Marco Zeffirino showed up at our table and sat down with us for a chat. He then brought us another portion of pesto, so I could try it with another friend. It was delicious, all accompanied by bread and focaccia. The evening continued beautifully. We enjoyed the appetizer, then moved on to the first courses. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and for the second course, the Ligurian-style catch of the day. We finished dinner with a delicious tiramisu made fresh in front of me, coffee, and Irish whiskey, in honor of the Peaky Blinders. Special thanks to Marco Zeffirino for his availability, a truly excellent host, we will definitely see you again.

20/12/2025: I dined here on December 19, 2025, with my husband and daughter. I would summarize the restaurant like this: 1) high-end cuisine, with refined and sophisticated dishes that are satisfying to the palate; 2) a relaxed and modern atmosphere, yet intimate and welcoming; 3) attentive and professional staff, never intrusive, and above all, capable of making you feel at ease with their genuine kindness; 4) the wine pairing is also excellent, expertly curated by the sommelier.

08/12/2025: A superb restaurant with excellent cuisine, an exceptional wine list, and attentive staff. Pricey, but worth every penny. The evening was magical; we didn't regret it at all.

27/05/2026: I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Delle Rose for work, but I can honestly say I'd gladly return, even privately. From the first moment, we were greeted impeccably by Enrico: professional, friendly, and always available to explain everything with great attention to detail and kindness. A welcome that is no longer so predictable these days. The rooms are very clean and meticulously maintained. The hotel has an elegant baroque style, with a warm and refined atmosphere that almost makes you feel like you're in your own living room. A truly unique and pleasant environment, different from the usual impersonal hotels. A special mention goes to the breakfast: rich, varied, and prepared with attention to the guest's needs. Finally, a hotel that doesn't follow the classic cliché of certain Italian hotels, where it almost seems like they want to quickly serve you "a coffee and a croissant" and then send you on your way. Here, instead, you can clearly sense the commitment to quality, hospitality, and well-being. The Hotel Delle Rose proves that positive exceptions still exist, and it does so with professionalism, style, and passion. The only small point that could be improved is the parking: if a more convenient solution were found in the future, it would truly be a world-class experience. Sincere compliments to all the staff.

27/10/2025: Divino Cafe in Lavagna is a great place to enjoy a good coffee, in a very clean and well-maintained space. Not to mention the friendly staff and the delicious treats you can find here to accompany your coffee. Highly recommended.

15/04/2026: We spent a few days in Genoa and ate here two evenings. The first time was by chance, as it was close to our hotel, and the second time because we really enjoyed it the first time 😉. The pasta and gnocchi are excellent.

26/10/2025: We stayed at this B&B, where the owners' hospitality and courtesy were truly superb. The room and breakfast were excellent. We highly recommend it; I will definitely return.

30/04/2026: This restaurant was definitely off the road but well worth the visit. It's pretty popular so if you get there during the lunch hour be prepared to wait. The food is definitely worth waiting for in the view is absolutely beautiful.

02/04/2026: The trattoria has been run by the Malatesta family for two centuries. Mother and elderly aunt in the kitchen, daughters Mara and her sister in the dining room. The truly excellent local cuisine, the atmosphere, and the family feel, along with excellent value, are unparalleled, so much so that it's worth traveling with my wife from Camogli two or three times a week. A trattoria that's always busy, open only on weekdays and Sunday lunchtime, and not on Saturdays, because the goal isn't to maximize profits, but to support the family. You can feel the beauty of the past, and I hope a place like this continues to exist.

06/05/2026: This was the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to. Friendly staff and amazing food. If you're in this area, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. "Best" doesn't even begin to describe it.
