La Tavernetta In Genova

I went in last night for the first time, and to be honest, it wasn't the best experience. I'd probably invest in a cleaning company, but that's just my opinion, and it's a waste of time. Otherwise, the pizza was so good that I didn't have to drink all night. It's been a lifetime since I've had it, and the chicken was simply fantastic. I'll definitely be back. The service is self-service, and the owners are top-notch.

What can I say? It's truly a great place. The pizzas are excellent, and even the chicken, the restaurant's signature dish, is absolutely worth it. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and down-to-earth. There are no waiters, so you set your own table, but it's definitely worth it. The prices are excellent: a pizza with lots of toppings, a chicken, a focaccia, a Coke, and a beer for just €26. And I repeat: the food is truly excellent. The place is simple and basic, but still quite welcoming. Overall, a place I definitely recommend trying.

A casual yet welcoming and down-to-earth place. A few dishes, but delicious. The grilled rooster is their specialty and definitely worth a try, along with the panpizza with spicy salami. They also make excellent pizzas, all cooked in a wood-fired oven. It's practically all self-service, but that's fine. To save time, avoid peak hours, especially on holidays. Excellent value, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. No photos because the rooster couldn't get cold ;-)
