19/04/2026: A wonderful experience, a historic Genoa restaurant, an elegant location with meticulous attention to detail. Kudos to the staff for the service, truly kind and professional, yet unobtrusive. A friend of mine tried the Zeffirino cheese focaccia with pesto and was amazed, so he complimented the kitchen. A few minutes passed, and Marco Zeffirino showed up at our table and sat down with us for a chat. He then brought us another portion of pesto, so I could try it with another friend. It was delicious, all accompanied by bread and focaccia.
The evening continued beautifully. We enjoyed the appetizer, then moved on to the first courses. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and for the second course, the Ligurian-style catch of the day. We finished dinner with a delicious tiramisu made fresh in front of me, coffee, and Irish whiskey, in honor of the Peaky Blinders. Special thanks to Marco Zeffirino for his availability, a truly excellent host, we will definitely see you again.
19/04/2026: Best pesto in Genoa (and anyone who says otherwise is dishonest), friendly service, quality products, and kudos to the chef because he reminded me of the ragù my grandmother used to make ❤️
