The waiter which is probably the owner of the place is super friendly and funny.

Vintage restaurant…. If you don't know it, don't choose it.... But instead it's a real surprise
Fresh and good food and Camal the owner is friendly and attentive to both cooking and service

Impossible not to give 5 stars. The owners are uniquely nice, helpful and friendly but above all generous with smiles. The place is charming and somewhat reminiscent of the seaside taverns of the past, the ones where we ate on holiday as children. The first courses are plentiful and tasty, as well as well balanced. The fish is very fresh, tasty and cooked with the skill of those who have always worked in the kitchen. The desserts have the flavor of a caress on the palate and the soft consistency of a beautiful memory. Tiramisu in particular brings the heart home even on the darkest days. Chapeau 😊

Simple tavern from times gone by, it seems to have remained in the 70s!! Managed by two elderly gentlemen, he of Egyptian origin. Excellent welcome, he is a very particular and very nice guy....TOP dish: truly delicious seafood couscous.
For those who want genuine cuisine and a spartan place, not suitable for "chic" people.... for me it's worth trying.

This restaurant is incredible...
The service is provided by a little grandpa, he is incredible, great people.
What can I say about the meal, it was exceptional... if you have the opportunity to go there and ask for the artichokes, the best dish I have eaten.
You can go there with your eyes closed, it's incredible.

I told Omar my partner, I prefer to eat well than have a luxurious place on New Year's Eve. This was Kamal's Pearl. A place where you also feel welcomed and at the center of the owners' thoughts. The food is top notch, all fresh and cooked with art and passion and under Kamal's direction. Congratulations for everything!!

Io e mia moglie (valsusini- provincia di Torino) ci siamo concessi due giorni di vacanza nel borgo di Boccadasse...
Io oramai in "pensione", mia moglie DS prossima alla pensione ...
Per lavoro, nella mia vita precedente, ho "pasteggiato" in un miriade di ristoranti in tutta Italia; di alto/medio livello.
La Perla mi ha sorpreso, in primis, per l'accoglienza da parte dei due anziani gestori e per la genuicità della cucina marinara locale.
Piatti presentati e spiegati nel dettaglio, e a "prezzo"... Stupendi !!!
In più ho assaggiato il mitico amaro Camatti... che non conocevo !!!
Locale di altri tempi... Astenersi persone con la puzza sotto il naso

Non fate caso agli arredi, né alla location, ma concentratevi sui piatti tipici liguri/genovesi. Questo locale è la macchina del tempo. Da provare e ritornare.
