31/08/2025: It feels like a local trattoria, but the place isn't exactly a gem, but we tried a menu that showcases Sicilian cuisine with a touch of Liguria. Very light frisceu (fried pasta), arancini (rice balls) with Norma-style filling, light and crispy. Very good spaghetti alla Siracusana, delicious ravioli with Norma-style sauce. There wasn't room for a second course, but we couldn't miss a taste of caponata, a plate for 11. Finally, a cannoli with ricotta that reminded us of Camilleri's books.

04/10/2025: Last Wednesday, we dined at this charming trattoria, located directly across from the Genova Costa train station in Sestri Ponente. It was featured in the latest edition of Alessandro Borghese's Quattro Ristoranti, a special dedicated to the best restaurants with fresh pasta workshops. The location is simple, but with a beautiful summer terrace surrounded by greenery. It offers simple cuisine, but with an excellent selection of ingredients. The wine list is very interesting, with excellent value, including an excellent Grillo Vigne di Mandrianova 2022 from the Alessandro di Camporeale winery in Camporeale (PA), which paired perfectly with the dishes. We first shared the mixed antipasto, including freshly made farinata, sardenaira, brandacujuïn, and marinated anchovies. We then continued, each choosing the tagliatelle verde al ragù bianco (onion, carrot, and meat) as our first course, which was truly excellent. For main courses, we had Ligurian-style rabbit and braised beef in Nizza, served with baked potatoes. Both dishes were delicious! Finally, the desserts, both homemade and incredibly simple, included a panna cotta with rose syrup and a light lemon cake. A glass of water and two coffees rounded out a truly delicious dinner, bringing the bill to €95 for two, which is extremely reasonable considering the quality of the dishes we enjoyed. It goes without saying that this place is highly recommended; we can't wait to return! Bravo!

12/11/2025: If you want to feast on ravioli, this is the place to be. There are different types based on the filling and toppings offered. The quality is sublime. I will definitely be back for a feast of ravioli while you can.

03/11/2025: Lunch stop during a motorcycle ride on the SS45. Surrounded by greenery, the specialty is truly delicious ravioli, with a wide selection of flours and toppings. Recommended!

11/11/2025: The place is nice and well-maintained, except for the bathroom, which in my opinion could use some work. The food is excellent; we ordered some off-menu dishes, which were well-prepared but a bit pricey (€24 per dish). For starters, we had a seafood stew (especially rich in mussels), and for main courses, grouper medallions with porcini mushrooms and shrimp. The ingredients are certainly very fresh and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, not for the main courses, but for desserts and coffee. In fact, we waited so long for desserts, and we had to ask for coffee a second time.

09/11/2025: When I return to Genoa, this will be my go-to restaurant. Personally, I was deeply satisfied with everything, for example...the professionalism, courtesy, and speed of the two waiters, Simone and Bledi. We felt truly pampered and understood. The owner is particularly kind and affable, truly down-to-earth, and always makes you feel welcome. The cuisine and dishes served were all exquisite in flavor and preparation. In 5 days, we were able to try almost all of their dishes. What can I say? The value for money, for me, is top notch. Daniele Gentile

27/09/2025: BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S...For the crazy prices...not the quality 🤣 Attracted by the crowded place...which turned out to be a mess 😒 Eating at the counter, elbow to elbow... Dry and dry macarons: €2 each 🙈 Muffins with 0.2g of cream: €4 🙉 Coffee: €1.40 🙊 Not to mention 10 minutes on the clock just to pay... I recommend going elsewhere...

30/08/2025: I live across the street from Mantero and often go there for a treat. The brioche section is excellent; after all, Mantero was originally a pastry shop (which is next door). Some people write that it's chaotic. I'd say it's normal at certain times, given that it's a high-end café where you stand at the counter. Don't worry, turnover is very fast, and you won't have to wait in line. The girls behind the counter are truly extraordinary at handling all the orders while simultaneously cleaning and preparing drinks. High prices? Well, yes. There's no denying it. The quality and variety of brioches comes at a price. The prices are clearly displayed. However, if you want to enjoy a coffee or cappuccino plus a plain brioche/cream/chantilly/jam, etc., the price will be absolutely normal. It goes without saying that certain brioches with fruit or chocolate, etc., cost as little as 3 or 4 euros each. Sometimes, it's a good deal. I thank the owner for deciding to open a place like this here on Via Cantore. Her courage has paid off, apparently. PS: To whoever wrote that "not even a glass of water" I say that all you had to do was ask. I always get it, and it's free.

24/10/2025: A trattoria that feels like home: a quaint and unique location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cuisine featuring traditional Genoese flavors and top-quality ingredients. They also offer truly delicious specials, featuring seasonal ingredients like mushrooms and pumpkin. I've been several times and the food is delicious; the fresh pasta is special. If you're in Genoa or just passing through, you can't miss it!
