10/05/2026: A very elegant restaurant on a tiny street near the old port. It's small but welcoming. The owners are extremely friendly and ready to share all the interesting facts and information about the dishes and wines. The cuisine is typically Ligurian, using high-quality ingredients and excellent cooking. We tried the exceptional trofie with pesto, an aromatic yet delicate pesto that went down very well, even though I have a rather fussy stomach.
The Genoese-style stockfish was excellent, and the desserts were excellent. The wine list was good, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality and level of the restaurant. We had a great time, an excellent restaurant.
20/02/2026: Excellent. I fell in love with this restaurant just across the street and booked right away. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet, the food and service impeccable. As soon as I'm in Genoa again, I'll definitely be back.

30/05/2026: I went in last night for the first time, and to be honest, it wasn't the best experience. I'd probably invest in a cleaning company, but that's just my opinion, and it's a waste of time. Otherwise, the pizza was so good that I didn't have to drink all night. It's been a lifetime since I've had it, and the chicken was simply fantastic. I'll definitely be back. The service is self-service, and the owners are top-notch.
18/05/2026: What can I say? It's truly a great place. The pizzas are excellent, and even the chicken, the restaurant's signature dish, is absolutely worth it. The owners are incredibly kind, friendly, and down-to-earth. There are no waiters, so you set your own table, but it's definitely worth it. The prices are excellent: a pizza with lots of toppings, a chicken, a focaccia, a Coke, and a beer for just €26. And I repeat: the food is truly excellent. The place is simple and basic, but still quite welcoming. Overall, a place I definitely recommend trying.

03/05/2026: I had a wonderful experience at this traditional restaurant in the center of Genoa, in a quiet area. I found a seat right away and was able to appreciate the welcoming atmosphere, with the walls covered with customers' drawings.
The service was very fast and helpful. I was very pleased with the traditional first course I chose, especially because it wasn't overly garlicy, which I was worried about. The portion was also just right. As for the negatives, the menu was lacking in variety and the mention of green beans in the first course, which weren't included... trivialities.

24/04/2026: An intimate restaurant, serving typical Genoese and lower Piedmont cuisine, yet with a touch of modernity and sophistication that's much appreciated. In addition to the first course, I also ate their signature dish, the land snails, which were truly exquisite. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful.
Excellent value for money.
Simply one of the best trattorias in Sestri Ponente, and what am I saying, in Genoa. We'll keep coming back.
