17/08/2025: They make pizza by the slice and round pizzas to suit all tastes. We ate ours on site, waited on hand and foot. From the menu, I chose a pizza that immediately piqued my interest, and which turned out to be "special." The atmosphere is welcoming, well-organized, and clean. I'll definitely be back.

19/09/2025: On my second visit to IlCaravaggio, I didn't try the pizza, but I did order a mixed seafood antipasto and the fried calamari and mussels. The portions were generous, the fried fish light and crispy, the mussels fresh and flavorful, and the setting remains very charming, with its historic dining room sometimes featuring wooden beams. The staff was courteous, and the prices remain reasonable, although I've seen from reviews that service can vary. Overall, I still have a good impression.

07/09/2025: We ate at La Francigena Bolsena because of the good reviews. All guests were greeted with disrespect by the very bad-tempered waitress. At first, we thought the waitress was only being like that to us, but as the evening progressed, we realized that she treated everyone else badly. The restaurant is actually beautifully located in an alleyway with a great atmosphere. The menu, drinks, salt, pepper, and food were slammed onto the table without the waitress even looking at us. At the next table, an Italian tried to get vinegar for his salad, but the waitress simply ignored him. The food is at the level of a chip shop, and the pizza is one of the worst in all of Bolsena. I don't understand the positive reviews. My recommendation: go somewhere else.

13/10/2025: I've been in Italy for over two weeks and this was by far the best food I have had. Everything was so delicious. The drinks, the aperitifs and the main meal. Even the bread with the local olive oil was delicious. The service was also great. You need to come here if you're in Viterbo. I highly recommend this place.

27/08/2025: Experience 🔝 We dined here two nights in a row. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming (there's seating both inside and outside the restaurant). The staff and the owner were extremely kind and friendly. The food was EXCELLENT, from the appetizers, the raw fish (we tried shrimp, scampi, and oysters), the fried dishes, the first courses, the second courses, and even the desserts (the brownie was amazing). Prices? Affordable and fair, especially considering the excellent quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended, we'll be back!!

11/10/2025: A restaurant outside Viterbo in the spa area. The menu was standard, nothing too typical. However, the dishes we ordered were very good. Prices were medium to high. Service was fast and accurate.

Honestly, I expected a more authentic selection, rooted in local traditions. • We ordered pumpkin-filled ravioli with butter and sage and rabbit cacciatore: good, but nothing special. • The service was quick and accurate.

05/10/2025: I stayed just one night right on Lake Bolsena. It was a wonderful experience. The room was cozy and had a shared terrace. The staff were friendly and always ready to answer any questions.

04/09/2025: Three-star hotel with excellent value for money, it deserves a 4-star rating. Excellent cleanliness, both in the room and throughout the hotel. The pool, like the rest of the hotel, is infested with mosquitoes, so I'd recommend disinfecting it at least once a month. The breakfast was good for the sweets, a bit lacking for the savory options, but that's acceptable for a three-star hotel... I highly recommend it. There are other hotels with many more stars nearby, but they don't compare.

06/09/2025: We stayed there for the Feast of Santa Rosa and had a wonderful time. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, and above all, the food was excellent, including the pizza. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

04/09/2025: There were 13 of us for dinner...but the pizza, compared to previous times, was not a good experience....and even the ingredients were not top quality. Too bad....but we will not go back again!!!!

20/10/2025: Excellent restaurant/pizzeria in Bolsena, in the province of Viterbo. The place is truly charming, a mix between an Irish pub and a medieval pub, but surprisingly, they also do pizza. The tap list is fairly basic, but the beers are well-tasted. They also have Guinness, which is a plus. Now let's talk about the food: the pizza is gigantic and incredibly good, with excellent ingredients and a very light dough (though the pizza was anything but light, given the heavy toppings). The staff is friendly and the prices are fair.
