Upon entering the trattoria, you're enveloped in a warm, inviting, and familiar atmosphere. The intimate dining room opens out onto the glass balcony, which offers a unique view of the valley below and the Apennines in the background. The dishes are beautifully presented, exquisite on the palate, and always generous—perhaps too generous. Worthy of note are the never-mundane appetizers, featuring superbly prepared cold cuts, the delicious first courses, and especially the meat: sensational. The wine list is excellent, and I greatly appreciated the discreet selection of wines from Lazio. Table service, provided by smiling waitresses, was always discreet and prompt. Excellent value.

This is our second time here, and it's excellent to say the least. The food is excellent, and the service is professional and fast. A pleasant experience, highly recommended. The place is intimate and welcoming.

I've been a regular at this place for a long time, and I consider it the best in the area in every way. The wide selection of excellent, expertly prepared meats is the restaurant's highlight, but the truth is that everything here is delicious and mouthwatering, from the appetizers (the generous platter of cured meats and other delicacies or the famous tartare) to the first course (the incredible tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms), side dishes (potatoes and local porcini mushrooms or the incredible puntarelle), and dessert (try the tiramisu). The scent of wild fennel from a dish passing by is intoxicating. Alessandro, in addition to being a master at cooking the meat, which is properly rested first after being removed from the refrigerator and before being grilled, is also a great host and knows a thing or two about wine, complemented by the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The location is very warm and welcoming. A side note: on a few summer evenings, when people eat outdoors with live music, we happened to bump into the owners, who at the end of the evening took the microphone and delighted the diners with their praiseworthy singing.
