17/09/2025: The portions are tiny. After your first order, if you ask for another piece of paper, they pretend you haven't noticed. In fact, I had to ask for one three times, and only after I resented it did they bring it to me. You ask for two portions and they bring you one. The wait times are endless, which is what you usually expect in busy restaurants, not this one with only four tables to serve... We sent one dish back because it tasted burnt. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

10/10/2025: I asked for two simple coffees in a glass... They served me two small glasses of hot, coffee-colored water!!! Highly not recommended.

09/06/2025: I go in and ask for my 3 children aged 3-4-5 years 3 glasses of milk and 3 small croissants. They offer to make them 3 smaller glasses and I accept. At the time of payment, adding 1 sandwich and a juice I pay €14.10. Going outside I realize that I paid for 3 latte macchiatos of €1.70. I go back in and ask for explanations and they tell me that the white milk and the latte macchiato have the same cost and without mentioning the reduced quantity offered to me. I end the conversation and leave because I don't need alms but neither do I need teasing.

04/06/2025: The coffee shop must be a place where you feel at home. I have always loved having breakfast at the bar: those ten minutes of calm made of coffee and the smell of croissants having to recharge before work. I found all this at the Ravieli coffee shop, a quiet place where they greet you remembering your name... where you find your favorite croissant because they know you will arrive at that time and maybe they have put it aside. Great cleanliness... especially in the bathroom always fragrant. Great choice of products also for celiacs and tobacco services. What can I say "nun ve lasso chiu'"🌸

30/08/2025: I need to catch up on yet another review that's been lost for some unknown reason, especially here, which is a must-see for anyone who knows and lives in this area. Ponte Milvio used to be three things: the market (first on the left of the square, then where the parking lot is now, and finally indoors where it is today), Pallotta's for pizza at dinner, and Gianfornaio. Period: three pillars. But that was the Gianfornaio located on the square, on the corner of Via Flaminia... where you'd find ladies in fur coats queuing like housewives... one of the best bakeries in the entire capital. Now Gianfornaio is a brand and you can find it in branches just about everywhere, but it's not the same. The quality of the baked goods has remained medium-high, but the selection has obviously expanded in a location that has made nightlife its cornerstone, and competition has multiplied dramatically. This place is a go-to for many offices in the area, and has therefore also specialized in lunch breaks, although it struggles to handle the sometimes very hefty crowds (for example, for SNA courses or other events). Service is fairly quick and friendly (the weak point remains the cash register, but this is a bit of a constant in Rome), the prices are not low but fairly in line with the local area, and the overall experience remains positive, especially the breakfast portion. I'm a bit nostalgic for the original formula and feel that this aperitivo craze has ruined the typical local dining experience, but Gianfornaio—at least this—remains a resource for those who come here. And let's hope it puts a stop to this globalization that has impoverished what may be an ancient but tried-and-tested formula. Need help? 22/06/2025: If you are a tourist and young, avoid. We sat in this bar for a quick aperitif. The owner, who seemed almost annoyed by our presence, brings us 2 spritz without even something to nibble on, which was something that was available at other tables. Moral of the story, 18 euros for two spritz and a lot of arrogance

15/06/2025: Supplì cacio e pepe cooked on the outside and frozen on the inside. Pizza with mushrooms not cooked, pizza with salami a disgusting mush, I don't think it was mozzarella. It should not have been paid because we left everything there. One works with sacrifice to then have a quiet evening and you realize that you have thrown away the money... To say the least. Terrible service: the cook also acted as a waiter. 50 minutes to eat (what we did not eat).

08/07/2025: I was there on Saturday night with friends... June 28, 2025, it was forbidden to pay by debit card as requested by the organizer... you paid directly to the owner, a PR delegated 2 ladies... at a small table to take only cash from the event with live music to dance to... there were about 100-110 people... the service was very slow, the food poor... the bathrooms were dirty and unsanitary... I was not given any receipt for tax payment... I and everyone else having noticed it... with my friends... all money taken under the table... never again next time I will call the relevant person...

18/06/2025: Not having a menu to look at says a lot. A 4 cheese + a capricciosa + 2 cans of coke for €25.00 seems excessive to me, not having a menu to look at as feedback. Pizza tastes are subjective and I say there are better around. Do I recommend it? No, avoid

05/11/2025: I bought a donut from this brand yesterday, it literally sucks, the dough, the type of flour, the leavening and finally the chemical lemon aroma, disgusting.

12/10/2025: Hello, the desserts should be improved, like grandma's cake, filling them with sugar does not improve the goodness, in fact it disgusts them and, you have little choice of savoury dishes and as for the bakery, the prices are a bit high.

20/10/2025: We ate and we didn't like the portions, very small and not so good quality. I ordered a lasagna and the size was almost the size of a finger. We thought it was the owner's lunch because the presentation left much to be desired.

30/10/2025: Our favourite place for due caffè in Rome! Excellent coffee at a more-than-fair price (€1.30). The owner’s smile made our day every time we passed by. Don't expect to sit around, it's a place you grab a quick shot of espresso and ciao! By the way, don’t trust the opening hours online — they’re actually open every day of the week.

04/08/2025: For me it's a best coffee in Rome. Every time i am in Rome i am visiting at least once a day. Perfect morning starts with a perfect coffee and you can find it here. And the owners of the place who are working there are simply charming 💝
