04/10/2025: We had a relaxing dinner and enjoyed some authentic and delicious Roman dishes. Homemade cornbreaded supplì, beans with pancetta, two delicious carbonaras (one of which was a very popular gluten-free option), quail with a side of mushrooms, and finally a delicious Marsala. The atmosphere is rustic, just like in times gone by. The owner is courteous and friendly. Recommended for a true dinner in a traditional Roman osteria. We'll be back! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Cacio e pepe tasted like it had been reheated with sliced cheese.
Anonymous carbonara.
The house red wine was pure vinegar.
The pseudo-stew was half a portion served with two slices of burnt bread; the meat tasted like ammonia, with the addition of raw tomato puree.
The wait was long despite a reservation.

14/11/2025: A historic restaurant in the Castelli Romani, nestled in a splendid natural setting where you can enjoy a stroll. Original dishes, some better than others, are served. The grilled meat isn't always cooked properly, sometimes a bit tough. The porcini mushrooms, when available, and the Nemi strawberries are always good.
Last time, the pasta sauce was a bit too thin.
06/11/2025: A perfect cooking technique, but the raw material, "guanciale," is forgettable. The scottadito were perhaps cooked first and then served almost cold, not to mention the flavorless roasted porcini mushrooms.
The mushroom risotto was delicious, the service was good, and the staff were kind and helpful. The bill was quite high for the food.

18/09/2025: Not recommended. Unfortunately, while I was picking up my pizza at the counter, I witnessed a terrible scene where the pizza chef was yelling and insulting the girl at the counter.

12/10/2025: Here you can find authentic Roman pizza, which is very different from Neapolitan pizza. So if you read "pizzeria," don't immediately make the connection with Neapolitan pizza.
Good pizza, reasonable price, service could be a little more attentive and quicker, but that's definitely something that can be easily improved.
The place is quiet. If you don't like crowds and throngs, it's perfect.
I recommend it.

20/09/2025: Terrible experience. When Roscioli's bread ran out, they used supermarket bread, pretending it was. An hour's wait for a cold sandwich. The honesty of saying the "correct" bread had run out would have been appreciated.

We had beer, mozzarella in carrozza, and carbonara.
Inedible mozzarella, two pieces of coarse bread and a slice of mozzarella, tasteless.
Mediocre carbonara, generous portion.
Very friendly, knowledgeable, and young staff.
Two beers, two fried foods, two pastas, two coffees, €48.
The food could be greatly improved.
